Star Wars animated projects have not only been a huge success, but they have captivated fans everywhere! Some fans will even argue that the animated Star Wars content has been better than most of the movies (excluding the original trilogy, obviously). Shows like Star Wars: The Clone WarsThe Bad BatchStar Wars Rebels, and Tales of the Jedi, have expanded the stories of the galaxy.

Now, tomorrow on May 4th, Disney+ will debut a new series of Star Wars animated shorts — called Tales of the UnderworldThe series will hold six all-new original shorts, and will see the return of some fan favorite characters — Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane (who we first saw in Star Wars: The Clone Wars).

The series will take us on a whole new adventure, introduce us to new characters, and bring us to depths of the galaxy we’ve never seen before. We’re so excited to see what these “tales” that have never been told are! Take a look at the trailer that was posted on the official Star Wars account.

That’s not all Disney+ subscribers will be getting! It was announced that Disney will be adding FULL POV experiences of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge exclusively on Disney+, for Star Wars Day tomorrow. The POVs will include a journey through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge after hours, and a cinematic ride-through of the fan-favorite ride, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

It’s not often Disney does POV walkthroughs or ride experiences — so this is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! It’ll be cool for fans to get to see Galaxy’s Edge during after hours, something that we’re sure many have not gotten to see. For anyone who hasn’t experienced the immersive E-ticket attraction, you’ll get to see the beauty of this groundbreaking ride. If anything, we’re sure the POV experiences will make fans want to go to the park even more!

Remember, both the show and the POV will only be available exclusively on Disney+! So, make sure your subscriptions are ready to go. We love to stay up to date on all the latest Disney news and updates, so stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more.
