I Have So Many Questions About This NEW Fast Food Announcement. First of All, Why?

Just when we thought we’d seen it all in the fast food world, someone comes along and does something truly out of left field.

Whether it’s the latest creation from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, or another chain altogether, chances are fans are going to have a lot of thoughts. This new snack hitting the market isn’t all that noteworthy on its own (okay, except for the size), but the restaurant offering it has us scratching our heads.

Subway and Doritos have teamed up for a new, iconic collaboration — Doritos Footlong Nachos. Available nationwide for a limited time, the new snacks combine the cheesy crunch of Doritos and the “fresh, bold flavors of Subway’s beloved sandwiches.” The nachos will start at just $5.

So, what do the Doritos Footlong Nachos entail? It all starts with Nacho Cheese Doritos which are layered with cheddar cheese sauce and shredded Monterey cheddar cheese, piled with jalapeño spices, diced tomatoes, red onions, and Baja Chipotle sauce.

You’ll also have the option to add rotisserie-style chicken or steak at no extra charge — but a scoop of smashed avocado on top will cost you extra.

And, to celebrate the new nachos, Subway is giving fans a chance to try all three varieties of the new nachos! On April 10th, Subway MVP Rewards members can get a free order of Doritos Footlong Nachos with the purchase of any footlong sub sandwich at participating restaurants.

Subway has recently expanded its lineup of sides including Footlong Dippers, cookies, churros, and more. We don’t know how these new nachos will taste, but we’ve never met a Dorito we didn’t like! If you try them, let us know your thoughts!
