  7. Pop Century Hotel experts would NEVER make these rookie mistakes! Pop Century Resort Disney’s Pop Century resort is one of the most popular resorts at Walt Disney World. The value resort has one of the most interesting histories of any of Disney resorts, and has developed a devoted fanbase thanks to its theming, decor, Skyliner access, and comparative affordability. There are certain things these Pop Century experts would never do. Request a Room in the 90s Section While from a theming and decor standpoint, the 1990s section of Pop Century is arguably one of the resort’s coolest — seriously, the gigantic laptop with a permanent 1999 homepage sends our nostalgia sense into overdrive — it’s also arguably the least convenient area at the resort to stay. It’s far from both the Classic Hall (AKA the lobby building where the food court and bus stops are located) as well as the Skyliner station. 90s Nostalgia Instead, request a room in the 60s section. There may be a preferred room charge, but it’s worth it as this section is within a short walk to both the Classic Hall and the Skyliner station. Fold Down the Second Bed Unless Necessary Some of Pop Century’s rooms contain a Queen-size bed as well as a Queen-size pull down bed. Now, if a traveler has a party size that requires pulling down the second bed, then they absolutely need to. However, if they only require one bed, leaving the pull down in the “up” position gives a ton of space to move around the room, and generally makes it feel much larger. This table becomes a bed Head to the Skyliner When it FIRST Opens The first of two Skyliner entries on our list. It may be tempting to head to Skyliner as early as possible, however this can be a mistake. Crowds tend to gather early, leading to LONG and often sprawling lines. Instead, wait about 10 minutes after opening, as the system moves fast enough that even during a high demand time the line will have dissipated somewhat by then. Skyliner Station Not Use the Skyliner to Get to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios The Skyliner is one of the biggest perks to staying at Pop Century, as the reliable system provides a quick and aesthetically pleasing way to head to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, as well as several other Disney hotels. There’s no reason to either drive or ride share to either of those parks if the Skyliner is available. Skyliner gondola system Plan to Eat at the Food Court after Staying at Magic Kingdom Until Close While getting to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios from Pop Century is quite convenient, traveling back and forth to the Magic kingdom is… not. The park and hotel are far apart, and — especially at closing — the buses are packed, as are the transportation options to get to the Transportation and Ticket Center for anyone thinking of driving or ride sharing. In other words, the odds are slim at best that a guest would be able to stay at the Magic Kingdom until the end of the park’s day and make it back to Pop Century in time to grab dinner at the Everything Pop food court. Sometimes Disney transportation just isn’t fast enough Skip the Tie-Dye Cheesecake Speaking of the food court, no Pop Century expert would stay at the hotel without enjoying its trademark tie-dye cheesecake dessert at least once! Tie-dye Cheesecake It’s just FUN! Pop Century is one of Walt Disney World’s most beloved resorts, especially at the value level, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t mistakes to avoid when staying there. Paseo at Downtown Disney We’ve been checking out the concept art and revealed some exciting details about what you can expect here, and later learned that Paseo and Céntrico had opened early. There was just one final spot left to open its doors, and now, that time has come! Another brand-new restaurant just opened in the Downtown Disney District! Tiendita, the third of Michelin-Starred Chef Carlos Gaytán’s three restaurants here, is now open! Tiendita! Tiendita is essentially a fast-food Mexican restaurant, complete with a self-ordering kiosk and menu options like esquites (roasted corn), fish tacos, ice cream-stuffed chocolate tacos (OOH!), and chorizo breakfast burritos and chilaquiles (marinated tortilla chips with egg). We can’t wait to try it. You can walk up to the kiosk, place your order, pay, and then pick it up from the window! 12. Some Disney World restaurants are more popular than others… ©Disney To many, dining is one of the most important parts of a Walt Disney World vacation, with everything from in-demand fine dining establishments to fan favorite quick service snacks scattered across the property. However there are definitely some eateries in Disney World that aren’t quite as popular as others, and food isn’t always the main reason why. First off, a quick note, “unpopular” as we’re using is a relative term. For starters, unpopularity doesn’t necessarily translate to a lack of diners, as Disney World is often crowded enough that even “unpopular” restaurants are packed. Secondly, “unpopular” also doesn’t necessarily mean either of these restaurants is “bad” in either food or service. Rather, for reasons we’ll get into, they’re simply not at the top of many-if any-Walt Disney World restaurant lists. The Coral Reef check-in area. Coral Reef Restaurant There was a time when the Coral Reef Restaurant — located at EPCOTs Seas (originally The Living Seas) Pavilion — was arguably the most famous restaurant in Disney World. The restaurant, with its high-brow menu and massive water tank that allowed diners to view sea creatures in the pavilions massive aquarium, was heavily promoted in Walt Disney World promotional materials, and prominently featured in tie-in television episodes on shows like Full House and Boy Meets World. Coral Reef Restaurant So what happened? Well, to be honest, that’s the issue. Nothing happened. The Coral Reef has barely changed over the decades, while the rest of EPCOT has arguably evolved into the “foodie” capital of Disney World thanks to a slew of popular restaurants like Le Cellier, and Les Chefs de France, as well as festivals like Food & Wine. This has somewhat left Coral Reef “in the dust” as it were. On top of that, its out-of-the way location in The Seas (a pavilion that has struggled to bring in guests in recent years, even after a Finding Nemo re-theme) doesn’t help. Dining room All that being said, there are definitely reasons to dine at Coral Reef. The menu, while not quIte as adventurous or exotic as some of EPCOT’s more popular eateries, is a solid offering, especially for fans of seafood, and the Chocolate Mousse Bar might be one of the property’s best under-the-radar desserts. Than of course there’s the real draw, the sea creatures. A wildlife aficionado of any age would likely welcome the change to eat literally in the midst of one of the world’s largest aquariums. Sebastian’s Bistro Moving outside of Walt Disney World’s theme parks, we’re heading over to the Caribbean Beach Resort to Sebastian’s Bistro. This restaurant offers arguably one of the best buffet deals on property. Sebastian’s Bistro For $38 per adult or $20 per child, guests can indulge in a Taste of the Caribbean Menu which includes house-baked pull-apart rolls, a salad, oven-roasted citrus chicken, slow-cooked mojo pork, grilled chili-rubbed beef, sustainable baked fish, cilantro rice and beans, vegetable stew, and grilled vegetables, and house-made coconut-pineapple bread pudding for dessert. The restaurant also offer a similar-in-flavor’s plant-based menu. Sebastian’s Bistro Why is Sebastian’s somewhat unpopular despite offering such a strong bag-for-one’s-buck, especially compared to many other Disney locations? First off, it’s a location issue. Caribbean Beach is a large hotel to navigate and isn’t necessarily one guests not staying at the property go out of their way to visit, despite being located on the Skyliner line. Furthermore the menu, while sounding delicious to us, might be a bit too far outside of the culinary comfort zone for some guests, especially those with young children. Inside the dining room Despite those issues, we would still absolutely recommend making the trip out to Caribbean Beach to Sebastian’s if the above menu sounds appealing to you. Sebastian’s bistro rolls We think both of these restaurants are definitely worth a try for various reasons despite their relative unpopularity. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney dining tips. 14. Being a Disney World Cast Member isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Not many Cast Members will tell ya that, but I will! We’re here to talk about Cast Member roles! The hours are long, the weather is HOT, and people can have some not-so-magical attitudes. I used to work at the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom, and although most of my friends were my fellow maids, I did have a few friends in other roles. Well, friends talk, and you find out the BEST roles to have at Disney World, and you find out the WORST roles to have at Disney World. The consensus among Cast Members might surprise you! Now, I truly believe that there is value and magic to be made in every single role at Disney World. The parks and hotels truly would not be what they are without every single person who works there. However, there are a few jobs that a lot of folks go into the experience NOT wanting. Like, they’re vehemently opposed to these jobs. Let’s talk about it! Quick Service Food Locations When it comes to quick service food locations, a lot of folks don’t like the work because it’s like working at a fast food joint. You’re handling and distributing raw and prepackaged foods, working in an extremely fast-paced and often HOT environment, and dealing with hungry folks all day. Mobile Order window at Woody’s Lunch Box Plus, you do rotate throughout your shifts to positions that require you to keep the dining room clean and clean up after folks. Other times, you might be handling transactions at checkout. While a LOT of folks enjoy their quick service jobs, most of my friends didn’t! And that’s okay! Click here to check out our favorite THEME PARK seafood fast food spot ESPN ESPN Wide World of Sports is located on Disney World property and hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year, from runDisney to cheer and dance competitions. A shift at ESPN during these times can include selling merchandise, handing out packets and information, distributing race bibs, and even just…standing there. ESPN Wide World of Sports The worst part about this job is during the off-season when nothing is happening, though. The Cast Members either just stand around, help stock, or they’re deployed to other locations — which is often stroller parking at the parks. Anywhere in Magic Kingdom While Magic Kingdom is my favorite park to visit, I will admit that I had a few qualms with working there. For one, it’s always very busy. Another, it’s often open later than a lot of the parks. This usually wasn’t an issue, but on the nights that I worked extended evening hours, it wasn’t unusual for me to work from 7PM to 2AM. And then, after I drove home and got ready for bed, I was in bed at like 3:15AM. Me at the Haunted Mansion It wasn’t bad, but I won’t say that the weird schedule didn’t annoy me at times. I also know that a lot of pals of mine didn’t enjoy the many, many, many children that were running around the park. Personally, I love kiddos, and this was one of the many highlights of my job. However, it’s not for everybody. Click here for some Magic Kingdom SECRETS Well…is it what you expected? While I know several people who worked in all of these (and even worked in Magic Kingdom myself) and enjoyed their jobs, they do have the potential to be not-so-magical. But, the good news is that if you keep an open mind and focus on the tiny ways you can make magic and sunshine happen during every shift, your experience has the potential to be phenomenal. I just know it! We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop. Looking for more Cast Member takes? Click here! 15. One of our favorite new(ish) additions to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Gelato Cart you can find in Muppets Courtyard. Gelato Cart in Hollywood Studios! This spot opened in late 2022 and we’ve been obsessed ever since. The regular flavors are great, but we especially love trying the new flavors of the month, and with summer on the way, we’ve got a new one to try! One scoop of any gelato at this cart is $7.50 and two is $9.75. You can split a scoop for an additional $0.75 and get it in a waffle cone for an additional $1.75. Gelato Menu This month’s flavor is called Prickly Pear Sorbet! This option has a very unique flavor that we almost have a hard time describing. There’s an aspect of it that tastes like pear, but then there’s something that tastes more more like vanilla or caramel. The best way we can describe it is that we got hints of pear, cranberry (with zero tartness), vanilla, and caramel! Prickly Pear Sorbet However, we loved it! It’s very refreshing and tastes more like fruit then the other flavors mentioned, but we love the pleasant surprise the other flavors gave us! Heads up though that it is VERY sweet, and we even felt a bit of a buzz afterwards. Do not order this expecting the sugar content of a fruit juice! Yum! Anyone looking for a really refreshing snack in Hollywood Studios should consider giving this a try while it’s the flavor of the month! And even if this isn’t your jam, head over to the cart anyway to check out the others they offer! Other Recent Reviews! A Donkey Kong roller coaster is being built in Universal Studios Japan called Mine-Cart Madness and is expected to open soon. Interactive Elements These fun interactive elements will be scattered all throughout the land allowing its visitors to collect coins, unlock special areas, and compete in various other mini games featuring some of the most notable Nintendo and Mario characters. 19. If you’ve been waiting for the “hype” to die down about 1900 Park Fare reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort we can totally understand why. This beloved restaurant has recently reopened after 4 long years of waiting for its return with divisive changes from its former meals and characters. 1900 Park Fare Although we loved our initial meals here on its reopening day, we have to admit that we were left with a burning question. Did we really love it as much as we thought or were we just so happy to have it back in any capacity that we were thrilled with it regardless? Well, it seems like there was only one good way to put this to rest… a return visit! So off we were to another meal at 1900 Park Fare! As soon as we stepped up to the doors it was like coming home again to be able to dine inside its spacious dining room. We were greeted by the restaurant’s cast members and ushered to our table almost immediately. Welcome back! However, should you have to wait there is a small waiting area between the check-in desk and stepping into the dining room for you to hang around and look at the artwork and themed wallpaper while you wait on your table. Waiting area Once we sat down at our table, we were shown a menu of specialty drinks which included non-alcoholic beverages, we placed our order and waited for its arrival. Since we had already tried a few of these out, we decided to try another off of the menu that piqued our interest as well — the Passion Fruit Daquiri. Passion Fruit Daquiri Since this is an alcoholic specialty drink it is a separate cost at $16. It tastes just like you would expect a boozy version of passion fruit juice to taste. It had a very forward taste of what you’ll get from the passion fruit in the POG juice that’s popular across Disney World for breakfast without the added orange and guava juice to really enhance that flavor. It was very sweet though, so expect for this one to be sweeter than just normal juice. So delicious! Then it was time to browse the buffet for our main course! Dinner here is served buffet style with lots of options between, salads… Salads and sides … bread and cheese… Bread and cheese … and heartier sides and entree options like kid-friendly options in pizza and chicken nuggets,… Some of the buffet … and even Tiana’s Gumbo! Tiana’s Gumbo over jasmine rice There’s even a carving station of meats where we noticed a subtle change already in the menu! On this visit, our carved meat options were the juicy, tender Prime Rib AND the Spice Roasted Turkey! This was different from our last meal here where Porchetta was at the carving station along with the prime rib. When we asked the chef about the change so soon in the menu, he mentioned to us that there’s actually a 3rd option that’s on rotation, too! On any given night you’ll have an option of porchetta, spice-roasted turkey, or ham in addition to the consistent prime rib (don’t panic, you’ll always have this option each night)! Carving station with Prime Rib and Porchetta The portions here are what you make of them and no one will bat an eye at you if you ask for a second cut (or take multiple plates back) for more carved meats. Way too beige, right? The desserts here were also the same, so we picked up a few of our favorites from the last visit including the Grand Floridian Financier, Lemon-Blueberry Cheesecake, and the chocolate cake. We hope you saved room for desserts! And you know our visit wouldn’t have been complete without a serving of the famous Strawberry Soup! The star of the evening So you may be wondering about the characters and if they still were just as lovely as an experience as we had before? We’re happy to report that we were very pleased with their visits still! Hey, Aladdin! Each of the characters took their time to come around and speak to us with ample time for both conversation and photos before the wishing ceremony happened. Then, once the ceremony was over, the “wishmakers” all left the dining area and gave us plenty of time to eat from our plates and visit the buffet again (for desserts or seconds) before they were gearing up to make another round to visit around the dining room. Tiana even showed off her wedding band! Overall, our experience exceeded our expectations once again. We’ve eaten EVERYWHERE at Disney World (including both of the new meals at this restaurant). 22. We recently found a very elusive snack in Disney World, and that’s not even the biggest problem. The BIGGEST problem is that it’s elusive, and ALSO happens to be one of our favorite new snack discoveries. Tower of Terror Cookie The Terror Cookie can be found at the Joffrey’s stand near the stomach-dropping Tower of Terror ride for $6.38. We knew it was available, but it has clearly been in the Twilight Zone because no matter how often we checked for it, it was never to be found. A Cast Member confirmed that it is hardly ever put out, and so we were HEARTBROKEN, because it’s delicious. Well, we just discovered something revolutionary. We were doing some research on where to find various Joffrey’s treats in the parks (just food reporter things), and we discovered that the company who makes the gigantic Joffrey’s cookies (like our beloved Terror Cookie) is Sweet Cups Cookies. ©SweetCupsCookies Upon further investigation, we found that the website is set up for SHIPMENTS. Yes, it’s basically a cookie delivery service where you can order these gigantic sweet treats directly to your home. It’s like a snail mail cookie company, and it’s glorious. S’mores cookie from Joffrey’s That’s not even the best part though. The BEST part is that they have our beloved Terror Cookie. ©SweetCupsCookies There’s only one thing…standard shipping was $18.95 within the state of Florida, so it could be even more if you live out of state. To order one cookie, it was nearly $27! So, it might be worth it to order multiple if you deem the $20 shipping worth it. Terror Cookie at the Tower of Terror Joffrey’s Cart Plus, standard shipping takes around a week, so you still wouldn’t get your cookies in a timely manner. If you’re all for gourmet cookies and delayed gratification, then this website is totally for you. We’re at Disney World every single day to try new treats and keep an eye on all the menus, rides, and merch shops. We also love to take a deep dive into some desserts, and when we do, we often find hacks like this one! 24. Disney World is magical at night. Cinderella Castle at night Main Street, U.S.A. lights up, the castle glows, Spaceship Earth becomes a beacon of magic, and the Tree of Life comes to life! Night owls get to experience the lights and spectacle of Disney World once the sun goes down. The heat from that punishing Orlando sun begins to fade, and the crowds disperse to grab dinner or crash into their beds after a full day in the parks. Whether you’re enjoying the nighttime fireworks display, some classic Disney attractions, or just milling about with a snack, you’ll need to know when the parks close so you can meander back to your resort or home. After Hours event in Hollywood Studios Magic Kingdom As the flagship theme park of Disney World, and one of the most popular, Magic Kingdom is often open the latest. It has the most attractions of any of the other parks, so it makes sense that it might require some more time for guests to be able to explore all it has to offer. Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom during an After Hours event During the busiest seasons, around the Christmas holidays, New Year’s, Spring Break, Easter, and some summer months, you can expect a later closing time, around 11PM or even later! Magic Kingdom also hosts special ticketed After Hours Events, when on certain days, it will stay open even later for select guests who purchased the event ticket. These events give ticket holders an additional three hours in the park after it closes to resort guests for an even more magical time in the park with virtually no attraction lines and even some snacks included! TRON Lightcycle / Run at night During the rest of the year, Magic Kingdom will typically close at 9PM or 10PM. If you happen to be staying at one of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts or DVC Villas, you can even stay in the park for an additional 2 hours on select nights! Be sure to check the Extended Evening Hours for when those take place! Sign at Magic Kingdom on a party night Be aware, though. There are some times when Magic Kingdom closes EARLY for holiday parties! On select nights starting in August, Magic Kingdom will close to regular guests at 6PM but stay open for guests who have purchased tickets for either the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you don’t plan to attend one of these parties, you’ll want to plan your Magic Kingdom day strategically so you can get the most out of your park day! Click HERE for a Full List of Disney World Park Hours EPCOT An evening stroll around World Showcase is always a good idea! Evenings at EPCOT are so versatile. You can enjoy meandering along with your favorite international snack (lookin’ at you, School Bread), or sipping on a favorite libation (why hello there, Grand Marnier Orange Slush), or perhaps just sittin’ next to Walt in Celebration Gardens. EPCOT at night EPCOT has one of the most predictable schedules; it typically closes at 9pm, year-round. Like Magic Kingdom, EPCOT also hosts special ticketed After Hours Events, when on certain days, it will stay open even later for select guests who purchased the event ticket. These events give ticket holders an additional three hours in the park after it closes to resort guests for an even more magical time in the park with virtually no attraction lines and even some snacks included! <3 If you happen to be staying at one of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts or DVC Villas, you can even stay in the park for an additional 2 hours on select nights! Be sure to check the Extended Evening Hours for when those take place! Click HERE for a Full List of Disney World Park Hours Disney’s Hollywood Studios Hollywood Studios, embracing the creative spirit that inspired her, has relatively predictable yet fluid closing times. Most nights during the year, this park will close at either 9PM or 10PM—and that can vary from night to night within the same week! So, keep your MyDisneyExperience app up and accessible on your phone to make sure you know what’s going on when you’re there. Nearly empty! During busier times, like around the holidays and Spring Break, park hours might be pushed until 11 p.m. This means you have PLENTY of time to grab those amazing photos of you and your glowing lightsaber in front of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (or in front of a TIE Fighter, if you’re embracing your Dark Side). Lightsabers in Galaxy’s Edge Like its sister theme parks, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, Hollywood Studios also hosts special ticketed After Hours Events, when on certain days, it will stay open even later for select guests who purchased the event ticket. These events give ticket holders an additional three hours in the park after it closes to resort guests for an even more magical time in the park with virtually no attraction lines and even some snacks included! Jollywood Nights In 2023, Hollywood Studios had a holiday celebration called Jollywood Nights. On select nights in November and December, when Jollywood Nights was in full swing, Hollywood Studios would close to regular guests at 6PM but stay open for guests who have purchased tickets for the holiday party. We don’t know yet if this special evet will be returning. If you don’t plan to attend one of these parties, you’ll want to plan your Hollywood Studios day strategically so you can get the most out of your park day! Click HERE for a Full List of Disney World Park Hours Disney’s Animal Kingdom Animal Kingdom is usually one of the earliest parks to close throughout the year because they need the time to care for the animals every evening. And because of the animals, and making sure that they receive the best care possible, you also won’t find fireworks shows at this park, or loud and boisterous evening spectaculars. The sensitivity and welfare of the animals that call this park home are a priority over some crashes and flashes in the sky. But that doesn’t mean that this park is without its post-sunset charms! Tree of Life after dark Every evening you can watch the Tree of Life come to life, with a beautiful (and sometimes tear-jerking) projection show. And let’s be honest, we’ve often found ourselves wondering under the sparkling lights and lanterns around the Feathered Friends in Flight theatre in Asia. Animal Kingdom usually closes soon after sunset throughout the year, which means you’ll find park closing between 6PM and 8PM most nights. Animal Kingdom at twilight Disney has promoted a new evening drone show coming to Disney Springs for Summer 2024, and we’re hoping that perhaps that could lead to a new nighttime show around the Tree of Life, but time will tell! Click HERE for a Full List of Disney World Park Hours Water Parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon both have some tried-and-true park hours that don’t deviate often. You can typically enjoy the wave pools, lazy rivers, and thrilling water slides until 5PM or 6PM. Typhoon Lagoon There are some nights when one of the water parks is open for special events, like DVC Moonlight Magic Events. But those typically take place after the park has already closed for day guests and don’t usually affect park hours. Click HERE for a Full List of Disney World Park Hours Disney Springs Does Disney Springs even close? Well, yes, it does! But the exact closing time can be a little tricky. Disney Springs technically closes at 11PM from Sundays through Thursdays and 11:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Disney Springs gets more crowded at night! Most dining locations stay open until 11PM, while some stores may close at 10PM. This schedule varies seasonally, so be sure to check your specific destination before you make plans. 25. It’s time for another big Disney anniversary! Merch Wall! We’ve already celebrated Disney World’s 50th Anniversary as well as The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary, but now it’s time to honor one of the theme parks! May 1st, 2024 marks the 35th Anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the park is celebrating with some exclusive merchandise. To check out the special 35th Anniversary collection, we had to join a limited-time virtual queue. Getting a boarding group through the virtual queue allowed access to Stage 1 Company Store, where the new collection has dropped. A virtual queue… for merch! To access the virtual queue, we needed to go to the virtual queues section of the My Disney Experience app homepage. From there, we selected Disney’s Hollywood Studios to find the correct queue. The virtual queue opened at 7AM, and we selected the option for the “Disney’s Hollywood Studios 35th Anniversary event. Once in the queue, it functioned the same way a virtual queue for an attraction like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does. When our time came, we were alerted via push notification and had 30 minutes to get to Studio 1, check in, and join a physical queue line to enter the store. “The waiting is the hardest part…” When our boarding group was called and we arrived at the shop, we found a treasure trove of 35th Anniversary merchandise for the park. There were t-shirts in various colors and styles including light blue… Hollywood Studios 35th merch! …navy… Hollywood Studios 35th merch! …and white and blue sleeved-baseball quarter-sleeve… Hollywood Studios 35th merch! … which pairs well with this baseball cap. Hollywood Studios 35th merch! There were also two specialty pins, both featuring looks tied to the park. First up is the head cheese in his classic director gear… Hollywood Studios 35th merch! … and the second is Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, as he’s appeared in numerous shows and meet and greets at the park over the years including Fantasmic. Hollywood Studios 35th merch! The store also featured accessories including water bottles… Hollywood Studios 35th merch! …and a special edition Loungefly backpack. Hollywood Studios 35th merch! Finally, there were collectibles including a special Pandora bracelet charm… … and a really cool 35th Anniversary Mickey statue! Hollywood Studios 35th merch! McDonald’s Not only do we need to satisfy that occasional craving for Chicken McNuggets and those AMAZING fries, but we also love when Disney and McDonald’s team up for new Happy Meal toys. We went a little nuts over those Walt Disney Company 100th anniversary figures. McDonald’s also often releases new Happy Meal toys ahead of a big Disney movie release, but now, some new Happy Meal toys that are coming soon might have just SPOILED a new Marvel movie. Oops. Captain America: Brave New World isn’t even set to release until February 2025, but McDonald’s is already offering new Happy Meal toys for that movie. The thing is…we haven’t even seen a TRAILER for the movie yet, but these new toys give us some pretty good insight into some of the film’s characters, including HUGE spoilers. ©McDonald’s The biggest spoiler here is, of course, Red Hulk, suggesting that he’ll be featured in the movie. Red Hulk’s alternate identity is Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who will be portrayed by Harrison Ford in the film. So are we going to get to see Ford Hulk out? These toys certainly suggest so. The toys also include two versions of Captain America, Diamondback, Falcon, the Redwing, Captain America’s shield, and Ruth-Bat Seraph/Sabra. ©McDonald’s So why are these toys coming out WAY before the movie is scheduled to come out? Well, did someone not tell McDonald’s that the film’s release date was changed? The original release date for Captain America: Brave New World was originally set for May 2024, but it was delayed due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes of 2023. So characters that haven’t even yet been confirmed have been spoiled with the toys that are coming out soon. ©McDonald’s We’ll have to keep an eye out for more details about Captain America: Brave New World, before it releases on February 14th, 2025. 27. We spend a LOT of time at the Disney World hotels! Port Orleans French Quarter From overnight stays to restaurant reviews to casual visits, we’ve been to every single Disney World resort countless times. And through those visits, we find that some spots are more popular than others! Today we’re sharing the two Disney World hotels that we find to be the most popular among our readers and Disney fans alike. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge First up, we’ve got a very popular choice with our readers, which is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! This deluxe resort is located in the Magic Kingdom area, with boat access directly to the park entrance. Disney fans seem to love this one because of its charming mountain lodge-style atmosphere and delicious restaurants. Wilderness Lodge The resort is home to both regular rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas, and it has stunning grounds and walking paths. It’s close to a park without being on the busy Monorail loop, and we often find its lobby full of visitors relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The Lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort Whenever we ask our readers to share their favorite Disney World resort, this hotel gets answered VERY frequently. And we can’t say we blame them! Disney’s Pop Century Resort Since we picked one hotel on the deluxe end of the spectrum, we’ve also got to share with you Disney World’s most popular value resort — Pop Century Resort! This hotel is the cheapest option on the Disney Skyliner route, which means that it books up pretty quickly. Pop Century Resort Because of its location on the Skyliner route, Disney fans often choose Pop Century over the slightly cheaper All-Star Resorts (which only have bus transportation). With the Skyliner, you have easy access to Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is within walking distance. Skyliner The cheaper price point means that Pop Century is more accessible to a variety of guests. Even though it only has a food court and a pool bar, the easy transportation means that you can get to several higher-end restaurants in just a few minutes. It’s a pretty great deal! Disney’s Pop Century Resort So there you have it — the two most popular resorts in Disney World, according to Disney fans! If you’re hoping to stay at either of these spots, you’ll want to make your reservations as far in advance as possible, because they book up quickly.
