Disney4me Posted Thursday at 11:28 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:28 PM We are eating our way around the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and there is one food booth where Disney apparently looked at last year’s menu and said, “Yep. Keep it.” Australia We’re heading to the Australia food booth, located near Disney Traders. Australia has been part of the Food & Wine Festival lineup since 1997, and over the years, a few of its dishes have become genuine festival fixtures. This year, the entire food menu from 2025 is back, including one dish Disney has officially designated a 30th Anniversary Legacy Item. So, are the old favorites still worth precious stomach space when there are dozens of other booths competing for it? Let’s find out. Menu Over at the Australia food booth, this menu is going to look VERY familiar. The Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer returns with sweet-and-sour vegetables and coconut-chili sauce for $6.99. The Roasted Lamb Chop with mint pesto and crushed salt and vinegar potato chips is back for $8.79, and Disney has selected it as one of this year’s 30th Anniversary Legacy Items. Finally, the Mixed Berry Pavlova returns with a crunchy meringue shell, macerated berries, and whipped cream for $4.79. 2026 Australia Menu Those prices are also remarkably close to 2025. Last year, the shrimp was $7, the lamb chop was $8.75, and the pavlova was $4.75. So we’re talking about pennies of difference here, which is practically sorcery by Disney World standards. On the beverage side, Australia once again has three wines and a flight. We’ll get to those in a minute. Grab your fork. And perhaps several napkins. That lamb chop has plans for your shirt. Eats Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer First up is the Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer with Sweet-and-Sour Vegetables and Coconut-Chili Sauce for $6.99.This isn’t Australia’s first rodeo with the shrimp skewer. We essentially tried this same dish in 2025 and found that the coconut-chili sauce packed some legit heat. It wasn’t a tiny Disney “spicy” warning followed by absolutely nothing. That spice lingered. There was also some sweetness from the bushberry seasoning and plenty going on between the shrimp, vegetables, and sauce. Last year, we warned spice-averse eaters that this might not be their ideal festival pick. Grilled Bushberry-Spiced Shrimp Skewer The shrimp are cooked really well, but yeah, we’re loving that spicy coconut-chili sauce. Roasted Lamb Chop And now we arrive at an Australia booth institution. The Roasted Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Crushed Salt and Vinegar Potato Chips costs $8.79 this year. It has also been selected as a 30th Anniversary Legacy Item, which feels appropriate, given that some variation of Australia’s lamb chop has been popping up at the festival for years. Yes, those are crushed salt and vinegar potato chips on a lamb chop. No, we aren’t interested in hearing objections until you’ve tried it. Last year’s version was one of the biggest winners at this booth. Our chop was thick and juicy, while those crushed chips brought crunch, salt, and a sharp vinegar tang that worked ridiculously well with the meat. The mint pesto added a fresh herbal note that kept the whole thing from becoming too heavy. Our particular serving in 2025 was slightly overcooked and therefore a little chewier than we’d have liked, but we still called it a must-order. This dish has also landed on our Best of the Fest lists in previous years. Roasted Lamb Chop So, Disney has given it Legacy Item status. Does the 2026 kitchen give it Legacy Item execution? The answer is YES. It’s so well-prepared and easy to enjoy. It’s tender and so flavorful with all the garlic and herbs. Even the potato chips on top are a winner. It’s meat with chips, and, well, we are SO this food’s target audience. Mixed Berry Pavlova Australia finishes its food menu with the Mixed Berry Pavlova, priced at $4.79. It features a crunchy meringue shell with macerated berries and whipped cream. And last year? This thing quietly walked away with our hearts. The crunchy meringue softened slightly where it met the berry juices, creating that crisp-chewy texture pavlova does so well. Tart berries helped cut through the sugar, and the whipped cream kept everything light enough that we weren’t immediately looking for the nearest EPCOT bench afterward. We called it the booth’s hidden gem and one of the sleeper hits of the festival. Mixed Berry Pavlova Well, this year, it’s still got it, although the meringue shell suffered from the humidity this year and was soft, rather than crunchy. The berries are fresh and sweet with a nice, light syrup around them. The lighty, airy whipped cream just sorta’ brings it all together. Drinks Wine remains the name of the game in Australia. You can choose from the Yalumba ‘The Y Series’ Viognier from Angaston for $6.50, Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc from Riverina for $6.50, or Fowles Farm to Table Shiraz from Upton Hills for $7.50. There’s also a Wine Flight for $7.50. Last year, we found the Yalumba Viognier fairly dry with floral notes and just a touch of sweetness. Yalumba ‘The Y Series’ Viognier The Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc leaned tart and acidic during our 2025 tasting, with noticeable apple flavors. We especially liked this one alongside the spicy shrimp skewer. Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc Finally, the Fowles Farm to Table Shiraz was the boldest of the bunch last year. It was dark, peppery, and our favorite pairing with the lamb chop. Fowles Wine Farm to Table Shiraz In 2025, the individual wines were listed at $6.50, while the flight cost $7.50. This year, the Shiraz alone has climbed to $7.50, making the flight look particularly tempting if you’re interested in trying several of them. OVERALL Australia came into 2026 with something to prove simply because it didn’t change much. The shrimp, lamb chop, and pavlova all return from 2025, and last year we were particularly impressed by the lamb and pavlova. With so many new dishes scattered throughout the Food & Wine Festival, a booth full of repeats needs those repeats to be REALLY good. And well, they are REALLY good.
