Disney4me Posted yesterday at 03:26 PM Report Posted yesterday at 03:26 PM We’ve got exciting news out of Disney World, especially if you’ve been as excited to stay at the newest hotel, Lakeshore Lodge, as we’ve been! ©Disney This new hotel is expected to open in the summer of 2027, though no official opening date has been announced yet. It’ll be a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) hotel closest to Magic Kingdom, and will “celebrate the beauty and magic of nature as seen through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers.” We’ve been anxiously awaiting more news about the hotel, and now we’ve got NEW concept art to get excited about! Some of the new concept art shows a new lounge space that will be available for guests at the hotel, as well as what the lobby will look like. From the new photos released, it looks like the lobby will be incredibly open, with floor-to-ceiling windows that will showcase sweeping views of The Wetlands outdoor recreation area, allowing the “local flora and fauna to flow seamlessly into the architecture, artwork, and ambiance.” The lobby takes inspiration from the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas, as seen with the shimmering fiberoptic river that will illuminate the floor, as well as a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture with hundreds of suspended glass leaves above. ©Disney Disney also gave us a look at a new lounge coming to the hotel, which will be called Dandelion Terrace. This will feature a two-story gallery of archival artwork from Disney classics like Fantasia, complete with whimsical dandelion light fixtures that will provide soft lighting throughout the space. The sweeping views create the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks from afar. ©Disney That’s not all, though! Disney also released information about three of the restaurants coming to the hotel: Moonglade: An enchanting table-service dining experience with stunning views of the water ©Disney Bay Lake Provisions: An all-day, quick-service marketplace that will offer specialty coffees and fresh fare in an open-kitchen atmosphere ©Disney Paint Out Point Bar & Grill: Check out shareable bites and specialty beverages while appreciating the natural beauty that surrounds The Wetlands ©Disney Looking for more recent Lakeshore Lodge news?
