D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is coming back in 2026 on August 14th-16th, and we can’t wait to check it out. This event happens every two years and features some major panels and exhibitions, often including news about the Disney parks and upcoming Disney media. And now, we know that one of the most fun aspects of D23 is returning! Disney has announced that cosplay meet-ups are returning to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2026. These meet-ups allow those who go all-out to gather together, take photos, and celebrate their love of costuming and cosplaying. ©Disney Here’s the schedule for the weekend’s meet-ups: Friday, August 14th 9:45 AM – 10:30 AM | Star Wars 11 AM – 11:45 AM | Pixar 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM | Marvel 2:15 PM – 2:45 PM | All the Worlds of Disney Saturday, August 15th 12 PM – 12:45 PM | Disney Princesses, Heroes, and Villains 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM | Disney Parks and Games Sunday, August 16th 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM | All the Worlds of Disney @acrow59, @karamiadarling, & @jimmysherfy If you’ve ever been to a D23 event, you know that people go HARD into the cosplay aspect. We’ve seen some truly incredible looks in the convention center in the past, themed to characters from movies, shows, and event rides and attractions. If you’re planning to attend, you’re more than welcome to cosplay or Disneybound. @the_dapper_docs To check out these meet-ups, you’ll need to head to the Grand Plaza Fountain. All you’ll need to bring along with you is your D23: The Ultimate Fan Event ticket.
