EPCOT under sunny skies However, if you’ve been in the city for the past week, you’ve likely been feeling the effects of the intense heatwave that’s been affecting Orlando. If you were hoping for a reprieve this weekend, we’ve got some bad news. The heat wave is expected to continue throughout the weekend, so you’ll need to be prepared. According to FOX 35, the high temperatures are expected to last through Saturday, with real feel temperatures inching towards 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperatures themselves will sit in the upper 90s, potentially breaking records in more than one location. ©FOX 35 Rain chances remain very low throughout the weekend, partially due to the wind across the Atlantic ushering a thick plume of dust towards Orlando. While that means rain won’t cool things off, it also means we could see some gorgeous colors during sunrise and sunset, so keep an eye out for those, while also being careful with air quality concerns. ©FOX 35 However, early next week, chances of rain do increase dramatically, with downpours and more frequent showers being possible Sunday through Tuesday specifically, and will remain elevated Wednesday into Thursday as an upper-level disturbance moves towards the area. ©FOX 35 So, what should you do if you’re in the parks this weekend?
