We are always down for a new behind-the-scenes look at our favorite Disney Parks, and lucky for us, we get another documentary to enjoy. Sit back, relax, and get ready to feel a little patriotic like Sam Eagle. Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness premieres on June 29th at 8 PM EST on ABC. It’s a two-hour primetime special hosted by 20/20 co-anchor Deborah Roberts from Disney World and ABC News national correspondent Will Reeve from Disneyland. ©Disney The special will stream on Disney+ and Hulu on June 30th, so don’t worry if you don’t have access to ABC. Disney said, “From Main Street, U.S.A.’s turn-of-the-century nostalgia to Cars Land’s homage to the great American road trip and what it says about our love for the open road, each stop will play host to true tales of American innovations and triumphs. In this coast-to-coast event, Disney Parks and attractions are the portal through which America’s greatest stories, triumphs, and traditions are celebrated.” Emporium 4th of July decorations Disney Celebrates America is a 24-hour multiplatform broadcast and primetime special. The company is honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States and featuring a new look for its brand and businesses. “For more than a century, Disney has helped shape the American story — showcasing the imagination, optimism and sense of possibility that connects generations.” ©Disney This isn’t the only way Disney is celebrating the 250th anniversary! At Disneyland and Disney World, Soarin’ Across America debuted, the newest version of Soarin’. It takes guests over iconic American scenes from major cities to beautiful fields.
