Disney4me Posted June 23 Report Posted June 23 We can’t be the only ones who noticed this popular show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is missing from the Disney World calendar! Wonderful World of Animation Disney hasn’t made any announcements, but there’s a chance the popular nighttime spectacular may be closing for a period of time. Let’s take a look at what we know so far! We noticed something strange when we took a look at the calendar on the Disney World website and the My Disney Experience App. There are no showtimes listed for Hollywood Studios’ nighttime show, Wonderful World of Animation, starting July 1st through the rest of the calendar that can be seen. ©Disney As we mentioned before, Disney hasn’t made any sort of announcements as of right now. At first, we thought it could be a glitch, but we verified a few times that the calendar is indeed not listing showtimes for Wonderful World of Animation. We’re not sure why the show would be temporarily closing, so hopefully we get some word soon. This nighttime show is projected into the Chinese Theater, and it takes you on a journey through different animated films from Disney’s history. Mickey! If you’re still looking for a nighttime show, Fantasmic is still playing nightly throughout July. Start times for this show do vary, so be sure to triple-check when Fantasmic begins on the day of your trip! We will be sure to keep our eyes peeled for all of the Hollywood Studios nighttime show updates. Fantasmic!
