However, there is another airport that serves Orlando tourists Orlando Sanford International Airport The Orlando Sanford International Airport is much smaller and less popular than the much larger MCO. However, one popular airline has decided to shift its flights over to the Sanford Airport. Let’s get into everything that we know. BermudAir shared that they will officially be moving their services from Orlando to Sanford. They will no longer offer flights from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Bermuda L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA). BermudAir started back in 2023 to provide luxury, year-round service from Bermuda to the U.S East Coast. Orlando International Airport And they partnered with MCO back in 2024 because they felt like Orlando was a great destination for Bermuda residents. The CEO, Adam Scott, shared, “It is a great destination for Bermudians — I will look forward to taking my son to Disney World — but it is also the largest untapped market from the U.S. to Bermuda in terms of catchment area.” However, they have now decided to partner with the Orlando Sanford International Airport instead. Orlando Sanford International Airport According to SFB CEO Nicole Martz, “This new partnership reflects our commitment to providing airlines and passengers with a high-quality, efficient travel experience, and we look forward to connecting travelers between Central Florida and Bermuda.” In addition to flights from Sanford to Beruda, in December, BermudAir will also start offering flights from Sanford to Belize. Tickets for both these new flight options went on sale on June 5th. Orlando Sanford International Airport The flight from Orlando to Bermuda typically takes around three hours, and a one-way economy ticket ranges in price from $189 to $289. Passengers can also choose to upgrade to business class, which includes larger seats and priority boarding. BermudAir sets itself apart from other airlines by removing the middle seat, and they also serve Bermudian snacks and drinks on their flights.
