New menu alert! Whenever we hear there’s a new menu, we set off a red alert for the team, and we become totally obsessed with it until we can get our hands on it. The alarm goes off a lot, but we’re also pretty excited.

Wine Bar George

Wine Bar George in Disney Springs added some new brunch items, and we’re pretty sure we’ve found where everyone will go for brunch from now on.

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

First up, we have the Yogurt Parfait for $10, which comes with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and granola.

Yogurt Parfait

This was fresh and a nice, lighter take for breakfast, especially if you’re planning to share some dishes at the table or you have a heavier dinner planned. It wasn’t too sweet but was light and refreshing, with the gronala adding a nice crunch on top. The fruit was cold, tasted fresh, and had a perfect texture with the yogurt. We think it was a pretty reasonable price, too.

It’s beautiful, too

Then we tried the Seasonal Salad for $14, which features vegetables, croutons, and shallot vinaigrette.

Seasonal Salad

The Seasonal Salad was also pretty light and refreshing, with a citrusy, acidic dressing that was still on the sweet side. Our server told us they wanted to aim for something simple yet refined for spring and summer, and mentioned that their other salads felt overly complicated. This one really let the ingredients shine! The tomatoes had a really nice sweetness, and the cucumbers had a perfect snap. We felt like a few croutons were a little stale, but the salad base was solid with no wilted or gross salad pieces. It was a great option and felt like summer!

Lots of great textures

We couldn’t resist the French Toast for $19 with diplomat cream, fresh fruit, and maple syrup.

French Toast

Sometimes all you need is plain old good French toast. The fruit was fresh, the diplomat cream was delicious, and the powdered sugar was a nice touch. It can be hard to find good French toast, but we can definitely add one to our list. You got two slices that were pretty big and thick, which we thought was lovely for the price, and they weren’t too sweet, either.

So fresh

Finally, we ended with the Chocolate Almond Tart for $9, featuring chocolate ganache and green chartreuse.

Chocolate Almond Tart

What a perfect way to end the meal! It had a nice, crunchy bottom and a subtle chocolate flavor, elevated by the salt on top. The middle layer is like the inside of a soft cookie! The almond flavor is there on the crust with chunks of almond throughout. We would definitely get this again, especially for $9.

Give us MORE

We loved all of our dishes, and we thought our server was super knowledgeable on the menu, too, which always adds to our experience. Brunch at Wine Bar George is only available from 10:30 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, so you’ll want to plan accordingly. We also liked sitting outside on the patio, but inside seating is available as well.
