Together, these destinations provide guests with opportunities to experience the spirit of The Bahamas while investing in local communities, businesses, and conservation efforts. These efforts are being recognized across the industry, as Disney Cruise Line was recently named the highest-ranked cruise line on the Forbes 2026 Best Brands for Social Impact list, which ranks companies based on social stances, sustainability, and community support. Celebrating Bahamian Heritage and Communities Disney Cruise Line helps youth, families, and communities throughout The Bahamas through programs that celebrate the culture and traditions of the islands, expand educational opportunities, create pathways to future careers, and aids in times of need. Celebrating Bahamian Culture: At Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney Cruise Line celebrates and helps preserve Bahamian culture through experiences like Rush! A Junkanoo Celebration — developed with the National Junkanoo Committee and featuring local performers, music, and traditions — and the Goombay Cultural Center, where guests can learn about Bahamian history, crafts, and artistry. Beyond the destination, Disney Cruise Line recognizes Junior Junkanoo programs in Eleuthera and Abaco by helping fund costumes, materials, travel, and prizes for participating schools, while also connecting students with Disney entertainment professionals and Bahamian creative leaders to inspire future careers in the creative industries. Bethel High School. These gardens provide hands-on learning opportunities while helping increase access to fresh produce. Disney Cruise Line also supports the Bahamas Feeding Network through volunteer initiatives and financial contributions, including an annual $50,000 donation that helps sustain year-round operations and address food insecurity. Empowering the Next Generation: Through partnerships with organizations including Junior Achievement Bahamas and LJM Maritime Academy, Disney Cruise Line helps Bahamian students develop practical skills and explore career opportunities in the hospitality and maritime industries. Disney Cruise Line also partners with the University of The Bahamas’ Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (CELEARN) program through the Leading Light Programme, providing college-level hospitality and leadership training at no cost to residents of Eleuthera. The Power of Play: Disney Cruise Line’s ‘The Play Project’ helps create and improve safe spaces where children can play, learn, and connect. 7. If you’re flying to Florida soon, you need to be aware of your airport’s policies before you travel. ©Tampa International Airport What do you need to board your flight? What are the luggage regulations? What items do you need to remove from your person or bag to go through security? All great questions! And if you’re flying through one Florida airport, you should know that security is about to CHANGE. According to CNN, Tampa International Airport is going to privatize Transportation Security Administration operations. This decision comes a few months after President Trump revealed a 2027 budget proposal that called for handing more airport security operations over to private companies. ©Tampa International Airport Tampa International Airport (TPA) has opted in to the TSA Gold+ program, which is a new public/private partnership screening program. TSA will still have regulatory oversight for TPA’s screening programs, and those screenings will still have to follow TSA rules, but the employees and equipment involved will be managed by a third-party company instead of the United States government. ©AP “TSA looks forward to working closely with our airport partners to implement enhancements that will benefit everyone who travels through a TSA Gold+ airport,” the agency said in a statement Tuesday. Participation in this program is voluntary and requires airports to apply. At this time, two other airports are taking steps to privatize security under TSA Gold+ — Charleston International Airport in South Carolina, and Des Moines International Airport in Iowa. PreCheck signage Currently, 20 airports in the U.S. have security run by private companies and supervised by TSA under the Screening Partnership Program. That list includes the Orlando Sanford Airport, as well as San Francisco International, Kansas City International, and 17 other smaller airports. Orlando Sanford Airport Privatizing security operations has become a major talking point in recent months, particularly when government shutdowns continued to interrupt air travel operations at many major hubs. However, the move is not without its controversy. The union that supports over 47,000 TSA employees, American Federation of Government Employees, has spoken out against this change. “Make no mistake – this is a major departure and step backwards from the aviation screening security system that Congress created in the wake of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks in 2001 and the deadly bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Scotland in 1988,” Everett Kelley, AFGE’s national president, said in a statement. “Changes of this magnitude should not be made behind closed doors without the input of Congress, the flying public, the local airport authorities, and TSA employees themselves.” Ready to fly? 9. It’s my job to uncover all the nonsense happening in EPCOT’s itty bitty city. Welcome to Tiny Train Town! Hi! If we haven’t met, my name is Lydia, and I’m the DFB-proclaimed Mayor of Tiny Train Town in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion. Over the years, I’ve seen some serious shenanigans and malarkey in that village, and I’m getting to the bottom of it. So come along with me to see what’s happening in the triple-T recently! Let’s start things out with this suspicious character I spotted in the village square. She may seem like she’s birdwatching, but this not-so-innocent woman was caught with hundreds of surveillance photos from around our town! Is she in cahoots with someone? Where are those photos going? What is their PURPOSE? I must find out! A spy?! Speaking of suspicious things, I noticed several people coming in and out of this unmarked building at strange times of the day and night. This was an old train depot that’s no longer in use, and the building was vacated years ago. So what’s going on? Well, thankfully, this one wasn’t sinister at all! Upon further investigation, there’s a secret acapella group that meets inside here in the late evenings and early mornings outside of their regular work hours. Apparently, the acoustics inside are phenomenal. They’re looking for an alto…anyone interested?! Suspicious! However, that was pretty much the only bit of happy news I have this week. One of the town doctors has been arrested for medical malpractice after it was discovered that his credentials are FAKE. Could he be working with our sneaky spy with the camera? I’m starting to think there’s some kind of undercover operation going on here. NOT a real doctor! Also, there have been mass reports of livestock deaths in recent weeks. Last year, we dealt with a tainted food source for many of the farms, but this year, autopsies have revealed poison blow darts to be the cause of death! Someone is quite literally shooting down the cows of the village from the rooftops. Only one farm seems to be unaffected at this time…could that be the culprit? Those poor cows! I’ll be digging deeper into these mysteries in the hopes of getting some answers, so subscribe to our newsletter for more updates! * The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been. See Another Tiny Train Town Update Here! Of course, it might depend on just how much of a tolerance level one has for the classic (but repetitive) song. “it’s a small world” This Disney World Ride Will Be Closed for Refurbishment in August 2026 PeopleMover While the PeopleMover isn’t air-conditioned and takes place mainly outdoors, the attraction’s constant motion means riders experience a perpetual “breeze.” Of course, the only danger there is if it breaks down. 12. Hey Marvel fans, Deadpool’s story isn’t done quite yet! ©Marvel It was recently announced by Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, that another Deadpool movie will be coming to the big screen…at some point. With two big Marvel movies coming out this year, and another massive one on the way next year, we know there is a lot up in the air for the plans of Marvel Studios. Recently during a panel at Fanatics Fest over the weekend, Ryan Reynolds confirmed that there will “eventually” be another movie starring the iconic Marvel antihero, but it may revolve around “deep cuts” from the character’s comics, according to Variety. ©Marvel “There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing from the movies. I think there’s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics,” Reynolds told moderator Nature Luvz You. “There’s certainly some stuff that I love that [Deadpool co-creator] Fabian [Nicieza] wrote that is incredible [and] Gerry Duggan, another friend and incredible comic writer, that we can put in. But then there’s stuff upcoming. There’s eventually, you know, remotely another ‘Deadpool’ film. So it’s going to be great.” ©Marvel Reynolds mentioned before that he already started writing the return of Deadpool to the big screen, but the main focus wouldn’t be on him. “I have some stuff kind of written, but I don’t think I am ever going to center him again,” Reynolds said. “He is a supporting character. He is a guy who is great in a group.” ©Marvel Although it’s not confirmed, there’s a chance we might see Deadpool before his next movie. Avengers: Doomsday releases to theatres on December 18th, and we know it’s going to be the start of a multiversal battle. That movie will lead into Avengers: Secret Wars, which releases in 2027. That next movie WILL be a multiversal battle. So, there’s a chance that Deadpool could appear in either of those movies, but nothing has been confirmed. ©Marvel Studios In an interview in 2024, Reynolds talked about how he’d love to cross paths with the Avengers and X-Men, but wouldn’t want to join the team. “If he becomes either, we’re at the end,” Reynolds said. “Deadpool works so well appearing with the X-Men and Avengers, but he always needs to stay an outsider. His ultimate dream is to be accepted and appreciated. But he can’t be accepted. His coping mechanism of deflecting shame through humor works only when used to pave over his many inadequacies. If and when he does become an Avenger or X-Man, we’re at the end of his journey.” ©Marvel We’d love to see another Deadpool movie in the future, and it sounds like we will. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Marvel in the future. 15. Before the first slice of seafood ever meets the board behind the sushi counter at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Lead Sushi Chef Jose Fernandez Daboin is already thinking about the guest in front of him — where they’re from, which flavors remind them of home, and how he can surprise them with something unexpected. Since the Spicy Kazan Roll and Surf & Turf Roll are two of the first flavors that guests may taste on their three-course culinary experience, Jose knows just how important it is to get every detail right. From Line Cook to Sushi Artist Jose’s skill and knowledge come from years of dedication to his craft. Before coming to Disney, he entered the culinary field as a line cook, working the hot line before a last-minute opportunity to cover a sushi station introduced him to an entirely new side of the kitchen. What began as a temporary assignment quickly became a passion. “I realized sushi was completely different than what I was doing. It’s precise, it’s detailed, and there’s so much behind it,” Jose explains. In 2020, Jose brought that growing skill set to Walt Disney World, first working in festival kitchens before returning to sushi at Kona Café at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. He spent two years there refining his technique and discovering how Disney storytelling extends to the plate before bringing his talents to California Grill, where he now blends artistry, innovation, and global inspiration into every dish. Pictured: Spicy Kazan Roll Where Global Curiosity Meets Guest Connection Eager to continue growing and pushing culinary boundaries, Jose studies international cuisine when he’s not behind the sushi counter. Inspired by the popularity of Brazilian sushi, he began learning Portuguese to better understand ingredients and flavor preferences from around the world. “I love getting to know where our guests are from and what they like,” Jose shares. “I follow sushi trends from different countries to learn best practices from around the world and bring them to California Grill.” That dedication helps him anticipate what guests might enjoy and create experiences that feel both familiar and unexpected. When a server mentioned a visiting family was from Brazil, Jose knew salmon and cream cheese were a popular pairing in their home country. He stopped by their table to suggest the custom addition to their order. “Their reaction was everything,” he says with a smile. Turning Every Bite into a Guest Memory Whether he’s crafting a Hidden Mickey into a beautifully plated roll, inviting guests into the creative process through careful questions to gauge their taste preferences, or offering a single taste to spark curiosity, each guest interaction becomes an opportunity to turn a meal into a memory. For Jose, the most memorable part of every dish isn’t what’s on the plate — it’s the moment a guest feels seen, surprised, and right at home, all in a single bite. “If someone is curious, we’re here for them,” he says. “In other places, an order might just be another ticket. Here, I work with guests beyond the menu, crafting flavors just for them. At Disney, it’s about making magic, and that’s what sets us apart.” Recently, Jose shared that same spirit of curiosity and creativity with Walt Disney World Ambassadors, guiding them through a fun, hands-on sushi-making experience featuring California Grill’s signature Spicy Kazan Roll. That culinary magic continues across Disney parks. From sushi counters to confectionary kitchens, just like Jose, each chef brings their own flavor of Disney magic to the table. 16. Disney Cruise Line has been sailing the seven seas since 1996 and currently has a fleet of eight ships, with more on the way (and we’re so excited about the future of the cruise line and its new ships). Disney Cruise Line This year has seen many firsts for Disney Cruise Line, including the maiden voyage of the Disney Adventure, the first Disney ship to set sail from Singapore. Well, Disney Cruise Line just announced another first: its first female captain in the entire history of the cruise line! Captain Maria Gotor is the newest captain for Disney Cruise Line. Gotor has taken over the helm of the iconic Disney Wish, but what makes her really interesting is that her current career path was a surprise, even to her. Before becoming a captain, Gotor was practicing law in Spain. ©Disney Gotor changed her mind about law after sailing across the Strait of Gibraltar. During her cruise, she met the ferry’s captain and visited the wheelhouse. That day changed her life. She went back to school for a master’s degree in nautical engineering and maritime navigation. After finishing her education, she began piloting that very same ferry! But that wasn’t enough: Gotor eventually took on ocean navigation aboard a passenger cruise ship, with her first job in 2009. She joined Disney Cruise Line in 2024. ©Disney Gotor says she was drawn to Disney Cruise Line because it was so unique (we’d have to agree!). She said, “The joy on board is real, and today I am the happiest I have ever been.” She referred to serving as the Disney Wish’s captain as “deeply personal and professionally meaningful.” See? Dreams really do come true! Disney Wish at Castaway Cay Gotor also loves the challenge of captaining the Wish. She said, “Guiding a cruise ship requires constant focus, judgment and precision. I love the challenge of monitoring changing conditions at sea or preparing to bring the ship safely into port. On the Disney Wish, there’s 144,000 tons of steel that you have to stop without brakes. It’s challenging, and it’s rewarding.” She also attributes the happiness she feels on board to the crew who cheered her on when she was revealed as the ship’s captain. ©Disney We wish Gotor all the best as the captain of the Wish, and we can’t wait to sail aboard her fine vessel again. 17. If you’ve never been to Disney World or you’re looking for a new way to beat the rain, let us introduce you to our silliest secret weapon. The ULTIMATE rainy day solution? We tested out these VIRAL shoecovers in Disney World through 4 major downpours. When we first saw the covers, we thought they were honestly super silly. Did they prove us wrong, or are we ditching these on our next trip? We’re spilling our secrets right here! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Have you ever been caught in a Disney World storm unprepared? We definitely have! It can honestly ruin your day if you’re like us and hate soggy shoes and socks. That’s why we like to keep our bags packed and rain gear ready. When we spotted these viral shoe covers, we knew we had to put them to the test. Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers We will be totally honest: when we first saw these shoe covers, we thought “there’s no way these work.” Boy, did they prove us wrong! These are less than $20, and we truly had zero faith that they could survive a Disney World rainstorm. Now, several storms later, we don’t want to go without them! The biggest highlight? They actually do what they say they will. Slipping it on! These slip on easily over your tennis shoes, but we do recommend considering sizing up if you’re at the high end of the sizing range. This will help to alleviate any discomfort from the zipper on your toes. These shoe covers help us avoid our soaked shoes, and they let us continue through storms without fear of totally ruining our expensive tennis shoes. A closer look at the zipper! While these do work, they aren’t 100% foolproof! The top does still have an open gap, leaving room for rain to get in from the top. We also noticed that rain can trickle into them as it runs down your legs. While this isn’t ideal, they still protect us more than having nothing at all. Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers As frequently as it rains in Disney World, these covers have genuinely made our days significantly easier. There are few things that are worse than soggy socks and shoes on your vacation! We have seen some commentary online that these are slippery in wet conditions, but that hasn’t been our experience when using them in storms. Grab your own shoe covers here! This is just one of our many Disney World recommendations, so be sure to keep following DFB for more! View the full article
  18. There are few things more delightful than being on a Disney vacation and starting your day with Mickey waffles! It’s a Minnie waffle! In Disney World, you can find them all over the place — hotel restaurants, select theme park breakfast spots, and character meals. They’re a staple of any trip! But now, there’s a NEW way to enjoy Mickey waffles at an underrated hotel restaurant. Let’s go check it out! Rix Sports Bar & Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort has long flown under the radar as a great breakfast stop in Disney World. That is, until they got semi-famous a few years ago when they added chicken-filled Mickey waffles on a stick! Chicken Stuffed Mickey Waffle Now, that popular breakfast option has been REMOVED from the menu in favor of a new version of Mickey waffles, and we had to stop by to check it out. Rix Sports Bar is located inside the main building at Coronado Springs, and here, you’ll enjoy a casual atmosphere whether you’re checking out a game or grabbing a quick bite. Rix Sports Bar & Grill There’s a mix of high-tops and regular tables in here, and there’s bar seating as well. The TVs play sports and news throughout the day, so this is a great spot to stop and watch a game. The seating So what are we here to try? Well, the breakfast menu calls this new item Chicken and Mickey Waffles, and it’s available for $20. Breakfast menu They’re described as Mickey churro waffles topped with crispy chicken tenders tossed in Nashville rub and hot honey maple finished with powdered sugar. There are a limited number of places in Disney World where you can find Mickey churro waffles at any given point — the most popular spot to grab them is at Crystal Palace, but they’re also available at Spyglass Grill. These waffles became famous on Disney Cruise Line as a unique breakfast offering. Here they are! But now, they’re covered in a bit of heat…so how do they taste? Well, first you need to know that you get both Mickey AND Minnie waffles with this plate, and they’re the exact same flavor-wise as the other churro waffles we’ve had. A little crispy on the outside with that sugary crust, but soft and fluffy inside. Sweet and cinnamony mixed together. The waffles The Nashville hot sauce is smothered on the chicken, but it drips down onto the plate as well, so you get some bites of heat even with the sweet waffles. It’s a stellar sweet-and-spicy combo! The chicken tenders are the crispy-crunchy ones we all know and love with juicy meat on the inside, but the addition of the sauce and churro flavor from the waffles take this dish to the next level. Served with syrup on the side The heat builds as you eat, but it’s a pleasant burn. Would probably be too spicy for the spice-averse, but we wouldn’t exactly call it “hot” either — more medium-level heat. Our favorite bites were those sweet waffles dragged through the spicy sauce. Disney knocked it out of the park with this one! A bit of waffle and chicken So if you’re staying at Coronado Springs or you’re a Mickey waffle afficionado, you definitely need to try these out. You can make reservations to dine at Rix Sports Bar & Grill, and they’re usually not too difficult to snag unless there’s a major event happening at Coronado. 21. EPCOT has long been known for its restaurants, and to this day, a visit to Le Cellier Steakhouse, Chefs de France, or one of the park’s other signature eateries is a bucket list item for many visitors. Oysters Rockefeller However, there’s a certain time of year when guests might be better off skipping EPCOT’s restaurants altogether, and it happens to be during the park’s most POPULAR annual event. The 2026 edition of EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival is scheduled to run from August 27th to November 21st, and, as always, will be loaded with foods from all around the world spread across the park. Some of our favorites in years past include the Street Corn Dumplings at Gyozas of the Galaxy… Street Corn-style Dumplings …the Gulf Coast Style Seafood Roll at Flavors of America… Gulf Coast Seafood Roll …the Hawaiian Rice Bowl at the Hawaii booth… Hawaiian Rice Bowl …and the iconic Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup at the Canada Booth, just to name a few. Cheese soup from the Canada booth! On top of the fact that some or all of those dishes will be returning, the 2026 International Food & Wine Festival will also offer a litany of new options, some of which will become beloved favorites themselves. This means that there will be a lot of food to try at the festival, so as great as EPCOT’s restaurants are, skipping them to indulge in more fest offerings might be a better call. Unless you’re a music fan, that is! If you’re a diehard music lover who wants to guarantee a spot to see your band of choice at the Eat to the Beat concert series, you should likely look into an Eat to the Beat Dining Package. Eat to the Beat! These packages include an entrée and dessert, or one full buffet (where applicable), as well as a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older) at participating EPCOT restaurants. The only restaurant that differs is Spice Road Table, where guests get 2 small plates, a shared dessert platter, and a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older). John Stamos with the Beach Boys at Eat to the Beat in 2025 The real draw is beyond the food, however, is that the package also includes one guaranteed seat per person to one Eat to the Beat concert on the same day, making them the ONLY way to get guaranteed seating to the most in-demand concerts. Given the lines we’ve seen in recent years for acts like The Beach Boys or Yellowcard, that is a MASSIVE perk. End of the line all the way in Norway If you’re heading to EPCOT for the International Food & Wine Festival this year, you may want to skip the park’s restaurants…unless you’re looking to rock out with a particular artist. Stay tuned to DFB for more EPCOT tips. 12 Nights When EPCOT Will Be CROWDED During the Food & Wine Festival Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 24. Change is constant in Disney World, and recently we’ve seen it take over Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress, A LOT of places in Hollywood Studios, and an entire area in Magic Kingdom. Piston Peak Construction And with all of the construction around the resort and new things being announced frequently, we don’t see anything slowing down just yet. ACTUALLY, fans think that there could be MORE changes coming to Magic Kingdom, but why? Here’s why fans think this one attraction in Magic Kingdom could be counting its days… Hollywood Studios is getting a MAJOR addition, and construction on the project is in full force. In 2024, Disney announced that Monstropolis would be built in Muppets Courtyard, ultimately causing the area to close in 2025. The Muppets have since moved to Sunset Boulevard and now headline Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which previously starred Aerosmith. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Monstropolis will be themed around the popular Pixar movie, Monsters, Inc. The land will allow guests into the Monster World, with Disney sharing that here, “you’ll be able to stroll the streets alongside some of your favorite monsters” and even visit the Laugh Factory! Which leaves fans with a MAJOR question — will Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor make its way to Hollywood Studios? Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor The attraction currently resides in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom, but with all of the construction and reimagining that’s happening in this area of the park, it’s extremely possible that this attraction finds its way to Monstropolis. Inside Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor In the past year alone, two attractions in Tomorrowland have seen changes — Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin closed last year and recently reopened with a new scoring system and targets, hand-held blasters, and a new friend, Buddy! Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress closed at the beginning of July for a MAJOR refurbishment since the attraction was a bit “outdated.” The new attraction will feature scenes of the 1960s, 1980s, the new millennium, and a possible future. The opening scene will also feature a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic. Walls are up! Which leaves guests wondering if the reimagining of Tomorrowland will continue with the removal of Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. Monstropolis has confirmed that there will be new attractions and dining locations coming to the area, including Disney’s first-of-its-kind suspended roller coaster and a new Monsters, Inc. show in the Glob Theater. ©Disney Stitch’s Great Escape has also sat empty since its final performance in 2018, when Disney officially announced its closure in 2020. This leaves guests wondering what will be going there and if it could have anything to do with Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor across the way. Stitch’s Great Escape Building While nothing has officially been announced, we could be hearing more information in August at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which runs from August 14th to 16th. We have our eyes on the Disney Experiences Showcase on August 15th! We’ll be here covering EVERYTHING that’s announced, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 26. We all have celebrities that are so beloved that we fear the day when we receive bad news about them growing ill or passing. In fact, if we could, we would put all those beloved stars in a plastic bubble where they could be safe forever ( Van Dyke, we’re looking at you). ©Disney So when a company like Disney posts a photo of an older celebrity that we know and love, Julie Andrews, with a caption that reads “Courage, resilience, grace,” we got VERY upset for a moment before we realized that the announcement is actually about a documentary coming to Disney+ instead. So let’s talk about the documentary. It will be coming to Disney+ in 2027 with an official title announced at a later date (we would totally suggest something like “Julie Andrews: Practically Perfect In Every Way”). The documentary will be directed and produced by R.J. Cutler and will offer an “intimate and revealing look at the legendary actress, singer, and author’s extraordinary journey, from her early days in British vaudeville to her meteoric rise as a global superstar.” Okay, we’re in! ©Julie’s Library The documentary will also feature rare archival footage, as well as new interviews with Andrews. “Julie Andrews is not simply a beloved performer,” Cutler said. “She is a cultural touchstone, a figure woven into the fabric of how generations of people understand joy, resilience, and grace. Most people don’t know the extraordinary challenges she’s had to overcome throughout her life, all of which we delve into in this film. To sit with Julie, to be allowed into her inner world, to watch her reflect on a life that has shaped so many other lives, was an experience I will forever cherish. She gave us her full self, without armor, without pretense. And what we found was someone even more extraordinary than the icon. I am humbled by her talent, in awe of her strength and honored by her trust.” ©Disney We couldn’t agree more, and we’re excited to see her story in the new documentary. We’ll keep an eye out for more details, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
