If you’re planning a visit to Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, you’ve probably already got a long list of all the rides you want to tackle when you go there, BUT there’s no guarantee that all rides will be open during your visit. Fyre Drill Now, sometimes rides close due to technical issues, while other times, rides have scheduled closures for general maintenance. Well, we’ve found out about a scheduled ride closure in EPIC Universe you may want to be aware of if you’re visiting the park soon. Fyre Drill in Epic Universe’s How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk will be closed from November 9th through November 10th. This is in addition to the previous ride closure we told you about happening on January 25th through February 4th, 2027. Fyre Drill Fyre Drill is a water ride where Ruffnut and Tuffnut have transformed Berk’s Fyre Skööl into an interactive boat battle where you will get VERY wet. Once riders board the boats, they blast their water cannons at targets, but also at other boats. Needless to say, it’s probably a ride you’ll want to ride in the summer, but maybe not so much during the cooler days of winter. Fyre Drill The good news is that this is the only closure for the month in Epic Universe, although there are some other closures you might want to know about in Universal Orlando. That includes Hogwarts Express, which will be closed in both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Hogwarts Express in Universal’s Islands of Adventure You’ll also want to keep in mind that the holiday season begins in Universal Orlando on November 14th and runs through January 3rd, 2027. During this time, you’ll see holiday decor, special character meet-and-greets (like the Grinch), special foods and beverages, holiday entertainment, and more. Christmas in Hogsmeade We’ll keep an eye out for more Universal Orlando changes and updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more. It looks like the future of Disney’s Frozen is heading into the unknown! ©Disney D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event took place in August this year, and among the many exciting teasers and announcements was a look at the upcoming Frozen 3. We’re officially one year away from the next movie in the beloved series, as Frozen 3 is set to release in theaters on November 24th, 2027. The adventure isn’t ending there, as Disney has been vocal about wanting the series to end with Frozen 4. However, it looks like it may be a long time until we see Frozen 4! Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) are all coming back to Arendelle for Frozen 3, and we can’t wait! Disney hasn’t shared any exact details about the story, other than the short teaser at D23, which featured that Olaf may have a new girlfriend and there’s a wicked new villain whose powers could match up against Elsa. We also know that the next movie will feature Anna and Kristoff’s wedding. ©Disney Now, we may have gotten a first look at Frozen 3 during this year’s D23 Expo, but the movie was actually announced for the first time at D23 in 2024. Along with the Frozen 3 drop at that D23, Disney announced that Frozen 4 would follow. Jennifer Lee, the director and co-writer of the first two films, officially signed on to return for both movies back in 2024. ©Disney Collider’s Steve Weintraub spoke to the head of Disney Animation, Jared Bush, during the SCAD Savannah Film Festival. During the conversation, the topic of the next two Frozen films was brought up. According to Collider, Jared Bush was asked how much they considered Frozen 4 when making the plot for Frozen 3, and he said, “It’s tricky to answer that question.” They want to make a “consistent emotional arc for the residents of Arendelle that each movie can individually evolve rather than worrying solely about the plot.” ©Disney “I’d say for me personally — again, talking just for myself — I think you have to have a rough sense of emotionally where you want your characters to go, a sense of an emotional journey. The plot behind that, at least for me, is secondary to the character journey,” said Jared Bush. He also told Collider that Frozen 3 and 4 were planned to launch close together with a quick turnaround. However, that doesn’t really match what Jared said the team’s desire was to make each Frozen stand on its own while still building on what came before. ©Disney Collider provided another quote from Bush to get an idea of what the goal is with both Frozen 3 and Frozen 4. “Looking at Frozen 3 and what a Frozen 4 could look like, I know early on it was, ‘We’re going to put them right together, and they’re going to be out in the world. It’s going to happen quick.’ That’s not what we’re doing, for a lot of reasons. To me, an important one is that we want to make sure that Frozen 3 is the best movie it can possibly be, so that when you get to the end of the movie, you feel like you’ve watched a complete story. That it feels like something that feels fulfilling. That doesn’t always mean that everything is buttoned up, but it does mean that you have to be building to something that feels worthy of the end of a franchise that’s that important to people.” ©Disney It simply looks like the focus isn’t on Frozen 4 right now. Jared Bush was clear that the team doesn’t want to build Frozen 3 to work for Frozen 4. They want them to exist as two separate movies outside of each other, while still complementing each other in a coherent story. They don’t want Frozen 3 to be an incomplete lead-in to Frozen 4. So, what does this mean for the future of Frozen 4? ©Disney According to Collider, there’s a possibility of around a three-year separation between Frozen 3 and 4. However, Disney is willing to wait even longer to ensure one of their biggest franchises of all time is at its best. “Something I noticed, certainly for Disney Animation, is if the future story is great, it doesn’t matter how much time has passed,” said Bush. “And I’d say that for a musical, even more so. I think a little extra time is not a bad thing because the character is going to need to sing again.” ‘Frozen 3’ Outfits! There’s clearly a lot for Disney Animation to think about when it comes to this beloved franchise, especially when they want to make it perfect. For now, Frozen 3 is what’s on their mind, and then Frozen 4 will follow. We might be waiting a long time for that last movie, in the same way we waited for Zootopia 2. It’ll all be worth it in the end! For more of the latest Disney news and updates, make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog. ALL The Easter Eggs We Spotted in The ‘Frozen 3’ Trailer! Disney World officially costs more than ever before. Shocker, right?! Well, don’t fret. We are here to help! Everything at FOOD by Swedish Chef Disney World does annual price increases in October. And this year was no different. We saw prices increase on tickets, food, drinks, and even annual passes. But you’re in luck. Even though prices have gone up a bit, we have done our due diligence by being in the parks every single day. So, we’ve done the hard work for you and have put together a list of what it’s going to cost you to eat three meals per day at Disney World next year. That way, you know what to save and you know what your food budget needs to look like! Let’s get into it! For this example, I’m going to be pricing out meals for a party of two on a 5-day vacation. They’ll have three meals per day, including breakfast at a quick-service restaurant, lunch at a budget-friendly table-service location, and a “fancier” dinner. We’ll take a look at a day at each Disney World theme park and Disney Springs. Magic Kingdom Starting with breakfast in Magic Kingdom, we’re going to head over to Fantasyland to Gaston’s Tavern, and you already know what we’re going to get. We’re grabbing the Warm Cinnamon Roll for $7.99, which is absolutely enough to feed two people! We’re also going to grab a LeFou’s Brew for $6.99 and a Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee for $6.29 for our drinks. And don’t forget to add an extra cup of icing for $1! This brings our breakfast total to $22.27 before tax. Gaston’s Tavern — Warm Cinnamon Roll For lunch, we’re going to grab Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. One person is going to opt for the Chili-Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog for $13.49 while the other is going to get the Mini Corn Dogs for $11.99. Both of these entrees come with a side of fries, but no drink, so we’re going to add two fountain drinks for $5.99 each. And, of course, you’re going to want a side of cheese sauce, so we’re going to grab two of those for $1 each. After tax, the total for lunch will be $41.18. Corn Dog Nuggets! And we’re headed back into Fantasyland for dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant. This dinner is a prix-fixe price of $72 per person and comes with your choice of one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert. We’re also going to add the Roses and Rhubarb specialty cocktail for $20 and a Stella Artois Lager for $11. Before tax and gratuity, the dinner total is $175. Be Our Guest Restaurant EPCOT It’s time to eat around the world! Starting our day with breakfast, we’re going to head to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, and we’re going to share a few items to try a little bit of everything. For our savory item, we’re going to grab the Quiche Lorraine for $7.50. We’re also going to get a Pain au Chocolat for $4.95 and a Beignet for $5.95. Finally, we’re going to get a Full Baguette for $4.95, so we can have something to snack on while we make our way around the world! For our drinks, we are going to get two Lattes for $5.65 each. Before tax, our total for breakfast is $34.65. Full Baguette! For lunch, we’re headed to the America Pavilion to dine at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. One person is going to get the BBQ Platter for $18.49 while the other is going to get the House Wedge Salad with Smoked Chicken for $12.99. We’re also going to get a side of Cornbread for $5.49 and two fountain drinks for $4.99 each. After tax, the total for lunch is $49.99. House Salad with Smoked Chicken And for dinner, we’re going to have Le Cellier Steakhouse. We’re going to share the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup for $15 as an appetizer. For the entree, we are going to share the 28 oz. Rib-Eye Steak for Two for $120, and we’re going to add a side of Macaroni & Cheese for $15. For our drinks, we’re going to get the Ottawa Apple for $17 and a Molson Canadian Lager for $9.75. Before tax and gratuity, the total for dinner is $176.75. Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup Hollywood Studios It’s time for our day at Hollywood Studios! First for breakfast, we’re going to grab two Ronto Morning Wraps for $13.99 at Ronto Roasters. Then, we’re going to head to Kat Saka’s Kettle for two Cold Brew Black Cafs for $7.29 each. After tax, the total for breakfast comes out to $45.32. Ronto Morning Wrap Lunchtime takes us to ABC Commissary, where one person is going to get a Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich for $12.79, and the other is going to get a Mediterranean Salad with Chicken for $12.99. And we’re going to get two fountain drinks as well for $4.99 each. After tax, lunch will cost $38.07. Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich For dinner, we decided to go to the Hollywood Brown Derby. To start, we shared the Shrimp Cocktail for $20 and the House-made Ravioli for $16. Of course, one of us had to get the Cobb Salad with Chicken for $37. The other person decided to get the Braised Duck Pappardelle Pasta for $50. And for our drinks, we each got a $29 glass of wine. This brings our dinner total to $181 before tax and gratuity. Cobb Salad Animal Kingdom Our first stop at Animal Kingdom is at Satu’li Canteen for breakfast. One of us got the Cinnamon French Toast for $12.99 while the other got the Slow-roasted Pork Shoulder Potato Hash for $13.29. We also each got a specialty cold brew for $6.79. Before tax, our total for breakfast is $39.86. Slow-roasted Pork Shoulder Potato Hash at Sa’tuli Canten We decided on Flame Tree Barbecue for lunch. For our entrees here, we grabbed the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork for $13.49 and the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich for $13.49. We also added on two fountain beverages for $5.59 each. After tax, the total for lunch was $40.64. Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork And for dinner, we’re grabbing food from Tiffins Restaurant. We started with the Tiffins Signature Bread Service for $20 and the Land Salad for $15. For our entrees, one of us got the Shrimp & Grits for $42, while the other got the Oaxacan Pork Duo for $52. And for drinks, we got the Jenn’s Tattoo for $17 and a Beer Flight for $14, which brings our dinner total to $160 before tax and gratuity. Bread Service Disney Springs Chicken Guy! FINALLY has breakfast, so that’s where we’re headed in Disney Springs! One of us is going to get the Chicken, Egg & Cheese Sandwich for $7.49 while the other is going to grab the Chicken & Waffles for $7.49. We’re also going to get a side of Breakfast Tots for $2.99 and two Coffees for $4.99 each. This brings our breakfast total to $27.95 before tax. Chicken Guy! For lunch, we’re going to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, and we’re going to share a bunch of small plates. We’re grabbing the Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel for $25, the Jumbo Chicken Wings for $17, and Three All-Beef Sliders for $18. And for our drinks, we’re going to go with the Poisonless Dart for $6.49 and the Enchanted Grove Lime Splash for $6.29. This brings our total to $72.78 before tax and gratuity. The sliders! And our final dinner brings us to The BOATHOUSE! We’re going to start by sharing the Maine Lobster Bisque for $9 and the Yellowfin Tuna Poke for $21. For our entrees, we’re grabbing the Cedar Planked Faroe Islands Salmon for $38 and the New York Strip for $68. And to drink, we got the Duck Duck Razz for $17 and the Dockside Haze for $9. Our dinner total without gratuity and tax is $162. Duck Duck Razz The Final Cost Let’s add up the cost of each park and tally up the total at the very end. At Magic Kingdom, the total for three meals is $238.45. For three meals at EPCOT, the total came to $261.69. At Hollywood Studios, the total for three meals is $264.39. Animal Kingdom’s total came to $260.50 for three meals. And finally, the cost for three meals at Disney Springs totaled $262.73. This brings our grand total for the week to $1,267.76. Keep in mind that not all of these prices include tip and gratuities. It was quite the spread! And, of course, you don’t have to go to the restaurants I mentioned above — there are SO many other great restaurants around the property. These are just some of the most popular foods and restaurants on property. And we will say, most prices will be comparable to the ones listed above! Honestly, it can be extremely hard to narrow down where to go, but don’t worry, our Guide to Disney World Dining pulls it all together so you can stop stressing and focus on the fun without feeling like you’re missing a thing! While this may be a lot of food for two people on a 5-day vacation and you may just want to snack around the parks, this shows the average cost of three meals per day on a Disney World vacation. Looking to save a little money? We suggest buying discounted gift cards from places like Sam’s Club or Target — that’s an easy way to both budget and save! The Jingle Cruise is back at Disney World in Magic Kingdom! That means our beloved Jungle Cruise has been completely transformed into a holiday spectacular, with Christmas presents, festive jokes, and jolly decorations. This holiday overlay runs until January 4th and is a great way to see a classic ride in a new light. Jungle Cruise We’re taking you along with us to see all the decorations and the fully transformed attraction. Climb on and let’s go see the backside of the water. Because this is such a popular ride anyway, and with the limited-time overlay, we can see long lines throughout the day. We highly recommend rope-dropping it or waiting until the end of the night to sneak into line before the park closes. Jingle Cruise It’s also available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but since the party runs during the day, we recommend riding it during the day so you don’t miss that limited time during the party. Jingle Cruise Decorations line the queue, from funny signs… Signs …to garlands… Decorations …to lights. So much to see The boats also have holiday-themed names! They’re all different The skippers get to wear Santa hats that still match the ride, of course. They’ll be telling plenty of holiday jokes throughout your ride through the jungle. We’ve been on the Jungle Cruise a hundred times and have the jokes memorized by now, so we love hearing new ones to spice up our ride. Our skipper Throughout the cruise, you’ll see the classic scenes with a holiday twist. Presents, lights, and other Christmas items are everywhere. Decorated scenes We won’t spoil it all, but know that it’s a super fun twist on the ride and a popular one to catch this holiday season. It’s only around until January 4th, so it’s a good one to prioritize during your trip. Hi there! When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Whether you want to grab something to eat in the parks or you want to grab a bite at any of the numerous hotels on property, you’ve got a lot to choose from. It’s breakfast time! We recently stopped by Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort to see if breakfast is really worth it at this spot, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth replacing your current breakfast routine in the parks? Let’s find out together! Atmosphere This restaurant is the ultimate definition of retro-chic. If you’re a fan of classic images, Mary Blair, and the original design of Walt Disney World, this is the place to come. There are so many pictures from the original building and layout of the park, as well as some original artwork on the back wall. The lighting here is very warm and ambient, though there aren’t any windows, as it’s on the ground floor, Steakhouse 71 It can get a little loud in here, especially when it’s packed at lunch or dinner time, but it’s not too overwhelming. This is a great option, especially if you’re staying at the Contemporary, because you can walk right across to the Magic Kingdom after you’re done or stop here for a nice dinner after a long day in the park. It can get a bit loud at times Just be aware that you won’t be able to park here and then go to the Magic Kingdom, as they do enforce parking here, so you’re only allowed to park for a limited time. The bar But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the breakfast menu, you’ll find some Wake Up Calls for drinks, which are morning cocktails, as well as some non-alcoholic specialties, in addition to coffee and tea. Breakfast menu As for food, you’ll find a few starters, such as oatmeal and fresh fruit, but the entrées are really where it’s at. You can choose between offerings like Steak and Eggs, Omelets, a Breakfast Burger, Eggs Benedict, and more. A few additional sides are also on the menu. Food menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the Breakfast Burger for $23, which is made with Two Pressed Patties, Pork Belly, Avocado, Egg, and Hash Brown Patty served with Fresh Fruit. Y’all, this thing is NO JOKE. Breakfast Burger If you’re somebody who loves an everything breakfast all in one amazing, fantastically huge bite, this burger is for you. The avocado is rich, the bacon is nice and crunchy, and the hash browns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a subtly salty flavor. So yes, you get an entire breakfast platter in a single bite. Not to mention, you’ve got a delicious steakhouse-quality burger in there as well! This thing is BIG! The bun is an onion bun, which adds a little savory note that we enjoyed. Now, about three bites in, you may find yourself removing the bun and just taking bites of the cooked egg, or letting the yolk burst all over the plate to take some bites with burger and avocado and bacon. We did find ourselves beginning to push away the hash brown after a bite or two just so we could enjoy the other components — it was delicious, but there was a lot of it! Seriously, this thing isn’t for the weak Serving this with fresh fruit is absolutely the right move, as we feel anything else would have been too much. We also think this is big enough to absolutely split with someone else, so that’s important to keep in mind. After all, you probably need snacking room in the parks later, right? It’s a breakfast platter in one bite! We also grabbed the Seasonal Pancakes, which were pumpkin spice at the time of our visit, for $15; they’re seasonally inspired Pancakes with a choice of Bacon, Pork Sausage, or Turkey Sausage. Seasonal Pancakes These are drizzled with cream cheese frosting and covered in little perfect nuggets of toasted walnuts. When we say these are perfection, we mean it! The pumpkin spice comes through in every single bite, and you can control how much of the creamy and tart cream cheese frosting and nuts you get in each bite. These will make you think of sweater weather as you’re going outside enjoying your theme park days, and if you’re a pumpkin spice fan, this is a must-have. We’d get these time and time again! The flavors are balanced, and when we say these might be one of the best ways to start off your Disney World day, we mean it with our WHOLE hearts! Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… Craving a delicious breakfast minutes from Magic Kingdom. On the Contemporary’s first floor, Steakhouse 71 serves polished, classic-meets-Florida plates—think oak-grilled steaks, seafood, and that cult-favorite Bacon & Eggs (maple-lacquered pork belly over smoked cheese grits). Date-night vibes without leaving the monorail loop. Top-notch bites at a reasonable price. Morning highlights include Walt’s Prime Rib Hash, Eggs Benedict, and Steak & Eggs—a real sit-down breakfast before (or after) park time. The Stack Burger consistently lives in our heads rent-free. It’s one of the resort’s most talked-about bites—and yes, it lives up to the hype. Save room for the showstopper dessert. The Signature Chocolate Cake—fifteen layers of Jack Daniel’s–infused chocolate and mousse with raspberries—has main-character energy. Dining Plan friendly + easy logistics. It’s typically 1 Table-Service credit on the Disney Dining Plan, and the walk from the monorail to your table is about 90 seconds. You should skip this Disney World spot if… Maybe skip it if you’re watching the clock or the wallet. This is leisurely table service (not a dash-in quick service), and steaks can push the check higher than nearby grab-and-go. Hoping for characters or fireworks views? No meet-and-greets here, and the fireworks viewing is upstairs at California Grill—Steakhouse 71 is about the food, not the skyline show. Chasing heavy Disney theming. Décor nods to 1971 are subtle and mid-century sleek; if you want big, immersive theming, book elsewhere. Overall This spot lands at the top of our list consistently, especially since prices aren’t too intense for a steakhouse — especially for breakfast! Breakfast is often one of the cheapest meals you’ll find at table service restaurants around Disney World, and that’s also the case here. If you want a great meal to start off the day close to Magic Kingdom, we highly recommend. We’re happy as can be! In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more! When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting? Yep, no problem. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, that’s available around the resort too. Full Spread! We recently stopped by Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to see what was cookin’, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth taking a detour from the rest of your vacation to stop by? Let’s find out! Atmosphere Geyser Point Bar & Grill has all the rustic charm of the Pacific Northwest, just like the rest of Wilderness Lodge. The restaurant is situated at the back of the resort, next to the docks overlooking Bay Lake, so you’ll have to walk around a little bit to get there! Geyser Point You’ll even find a selection of seating options to take in the view of the lake on the patio behind the restaurant — the options are one of our favorite parts about dining here. Inside, the focal point is the large bar with plenty of seating. Cozy seating at Geyser Point But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu Here you’ll find a selection of Small Bites, Rustic Fare, and Kid’s Meal options, as well as a couple of desserts. It’s not the largest menu, but it usually has something for everyone. We also appreciate that there are some non-alcoholic specialty libations that are more than just water and soda. Menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the Charcuterie Flatbread for $17, which is made with Salami, Brisket, Chorizo, Bacon, and Smoked Gouda Beer Cheese. Charcuterie Flatbread If you’re looking for an appetizer with a little more substance, this is a good choice. The flavors all get their moment to shine, with the meats surprisingly working well together. The chorizo adds an extra punch of flavor that helps give this flatbread some character. The flatbread itself is soft throughout with a slightly crispier crunch on the edges, making it a great texture profile. We do think this is great to share, seeing as it’s as big as it is, but it does get a little messy, so be sure to have some napkins nearby. Tons of toppings! We also snagged the Jumbo Artisanal Soft Pretzel for $12, and when they say massive, they really mean it! The pretzel is soft with a hint of salt on top, and it comes with cheese sauce and mustard aïoli for dipping. The beer cheese wasn’t as rich as we were expecting it to be, but was still a good addition. Jumbo Artisanal Soft Pretzel Now, if you’re craving a pretzel, we think this is a great choice, but it’s not going to be anything super unique, especially considering there are other spots around Disney World that sell jumbo pretzels. It’s a crowd-pleaser, for sure, so if you’ve got a table of pickier eaters, it’s a good choice. With the beer cheese Next were the plant-based Macaroni & “Cheese” Bites for $11, which are “Cheezy” Bites with Tomato and Peppers. Macaroni & “Cheese” Bites On their own, these aren’t very flavorful. Their pleasant sweet and creamy flavor isn’t overpowering, which we didn’t mind too much since non-dairy cheese isn’t everyone’s favorite, but the tomatoes are roasted and still in large pieces, making this heartier than a tomato sauce. This dish comes to life when you combine the bites with the tomatoes and peppers — it’s a true companion to the dish. Overall, nothing is heavily seasoned, overly salty, or spicy in any way, making this a nice, mild, appealing plant-based dish that we think anyone can enjoy. Easy to enjoy for many! The Bison Cheeseburger is $27 and is made with Bacon, Marionberry Sauce, Lettuce, Tomato, and Garlic Aïoli on an Allergy-Friendly Bun and served with fries. Bison Cheeseburger The burger was moist and packed with tons of flavor. The sesame bun was soft and fluffy, while the bacon added a nice salty bite without being too crispy or burnt. The cheese also worked well with the other toppings, and the marionberry sauce was a standout — its creamy sweetness added another layer of flavor that made this burger different from your typical cheeseburger. Delicious! While the toppings all work together flavor-wise, a lot is going on, meaning it does get a little messy. The fries it comes with are classic fries — lightly salted and soft, but nothing to write home about, though you can replace them with kettle chips if you’d like. While this is on the pricier side, the combination of flavors makes it worth it for more adventurous eaters. It’s got a lot going on! You can also grab the Plant-Based Vegetable Burger with “Cheese” for $22 with Spicy Slaw, Pepper Jack “Cheese”, Lettuce, and Tomato. Plant-Based Vegetable Burger with “Cheese” The first thing you need to know is that this comes topped with a really delicious “spicy” slaw that has a little kick to it. While it likely won’t be much to those who are used to spice, others who don’t eat it often may find it to be too much. The lettuce and tomato are really fresh, and the combination of all these veggies makes for a lighter, more refreshing vegan burger experience. The burger itself is a meat-substitute-style patty, like a Beyond or Impossible burger. The bun is similar to brioche, with a light sweetness that rounds out the experience nicely. We were impressed with it! We can definitely tell this is a lounge offering, since it lives somewhere between a quick-service burger and a table-service burger. While we do think this is solid, for the price point, we wish it had just a little bit more punch to it, or hit the same way the Bison Burger did, especially since it’s only $4 less. Either that, or we think this should be a few dollars cheaper. Cut open Finally, we snagged the Coffee And Doughnuts Crème Brûlée for $10. This comes with a coffee-flavored vanilla bean custard topped with a crisp, caramelized sugar layer, along with mini maple bacon doughnuts on the side. Coffee And Doughnuts Crème Brûlée The doughnuts are incredibly fluffy, almost like biting into a cloud. The maple syrup gives them a sweet, pancake-like flavor, and you can smell that maple goodness as soon as the plate hits the table. They do lean on the side of being slightly too sweet for some people, so keep that in mind. So fluffy! The crème brûlée is where the coffee flavor really comes in. The rich, dark coffee taste hits you almost immediately, paired with a soft, creamy custard that melts in your mouth. The chocolate decorations on top add an extra layer of richness, while the whipped cream offers a refreshing break from the strong coffee flavor. Lots of coffee flavor! The coffee flavor is really intense overall, so you’ve gotta be a big fan of that flavor to enjoy this! Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You want “Wilderness Lodge vibes” with zero reservation stress. Geyser Point Bar & Grill is first-come, first-served, open-air, and parked right by the water, so it feels like a little Pacific Northwest vacation dropped into Florida. You want a “break from the parks” that still feels special. The setting is the star: rustic lodge energy, big deck seating, and those Bay Lake views that make everything taste 10% better. You’re trying to keep costs from going full signature-dining. It’s not cheap-cheap, but it’s often a sweet spot for a sit-down-style meal without the full table-service production, and Disney notes some dining plans are accepted. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You need guaranteed seating at a specific time. Because there are no advance dining reservations, this can be a “walk up and hope” situation at peak times, especially around sunset. You’re counting on this for a perfect fireworks view. The resort’s trees make common-area views tough (some rooms have partial views), while other guides suggest you might catch higher bursts from the lakeside walkway near Geyser Point. So: maybe a bonus glimpse, not a guaranteed fireworks lounge. You require air-conditioning, silence, and controlled weather. It’s outdoors, so heat, humidity, rain, and Florida’s general unpredictability can absolutely affect your experience. Overall This is a DFB favorite for a reason, and we personally think it’s one of the best lounges, even if it is a bit out of the way from the parks. You’ll find us coming back time and time again, so yes, we can’t recommend it enough! Geyser Point Bar & Grill In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. We’ve had a front row seat to all the back-and-forth CEO drama at The Walt Disney Company the last few years. ©Disney Starting with the promotion of Bob Chapek to the role in 2020, but continuing through his firing, the return of Bob Iger, and now Josh D’Amaro taking up the mantle, Disney’s leadership has been the subject of many discussions…and many controversies. Now, one thing may be adding fuel to the fire — Bob Iger is releasing a new book. Random House Publishing has announced that Bob Iger’s new book, titled “One Last Time: Managing Crisis and Building Resilience at Disney,” will be on sale starting on March 2nd, 2027. The announcement for the book was shared alongside the following quote from Iger: “This is a comeback story. It’s about what Disney needed to find its way back to its core values — and what that journey taught me about leading in a time of unprecedented challenge and change.” ©Penguin Random House This book will follow Iger’s journey through his second tenure as CEO, coming back to the company less than a year after his retirement. He kept the role from 2022 until 2026, when he chose Josh D’Amaro as his successor. Random House says, “He returned to a company facing not just disruption, but a constant drumbeat of all-consuming crises — a permanent crisis that required Iger to learn new lessons about leadership and resilience.” ©Disney Back in 2019, Iger published his first book about his tenure as CEO. “The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned from 15 Years as CEO of The Walt Disney Company” became a New York Times Bestseller and won NPR Best Book of the Year. The book was generally received well by Disney fans and the public. ©Amazon Of course, former CEO Bob Chapek has also recently released a tell-all about his time at Disney. His book, titled “Behind the Castle Walls: My Thirty Years at the Happiest Place on Earth” was a controversial release, calling out Iger for his campaign of “relentless sabotage.” Bob Chapek ©Disney We’ll be interested to learn more about this book in the coming months and to see the reviews when it comes out. When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got so many options. Especially when you are looking to try some fun themed dining! However, with these experiences, it’s difficult to know if the quality of food will match the theming. Or if it’s not worth the time on your visit. Toy Story Land! We recently stopped by Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studios, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop in Andy’s backyard on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Let’s find out! Atmosphere In this restaurant, you enter the world of Andy’s toys as they throw a full-blown rodeo celebration! That theme starts as you approach the restaurant and see a sign pieced together by Andy himself. Roundup Rodeo Entrance Then, as you make your way further in, you can see that Andy has left a welcome sign for all the rodeo fans about to enter the festivities. Welcome sign! As soon as you enter the building, you are immediately hit with that classic Toy Story Land immersive theming with so many details everywhere. The whole space really makes it feel as though you have been shrunk down to the size of a toy. Love this theming! If you look at the walls, you can spot facades for all the buildings in the town, including the hotel, sheriff’s office, school, and more! All the buildings! You can also spot Bo Peep herding her sheep. Hi Bo Peep! As well as cutouts of some of your favorite characters throughout the restaurant. Woody and Zurg The details extend all the way to the ceiling with a galaxy design, and you can even see a track for a toy train that Andy has propped on the wall with colored pencils. It’s a train! You could spend hours in this restaurant and keep noticing more details. The space truly makes you feel immersed in the world of Andy’s toys! It’s a hotel! But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu At Roundup Rodeo BBQ, there is a pre-fixe menu full of western food and BBQ favorites. Menu! The menu starts with the bread service, salads, then the main platters where you can choose either a meat or plant-based option. First half of the menu Looking at the lower half of the menu, you can find a selection of sides as well as desserts. The desserts come out individually, so each person at the table can choose one they would like to try. Second half of the menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats We grabbed the BBQ Meat Platter for $52 per adult. The first item we tried was the Cheddar Biscuits, which come with sweet pepper jelly. These were flaky with a decent texture, although we did notice the jelly was needed to add a little bit of moisture. These were a really nice way to start the meal, but we wish they would have come with some sort of butter. The sweet pepper jelly was very tasty but might not be a crowd-pleaser, especially for younger kids, so having a butter option would have taken this bread to the next level. The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits Next, we moved onto the salad options, starting with the Rootin’ Tootin Tomato Salad made with cucumbers, Pickled Red Onion, and white balsamic vinaigrette. We really enjoyed this salad quite a bit! There was a lot of vinegar, and the tomatoes were really well marinated. The cucumbers and red onions also worked really well here. This was a great, refreshing salad, which was amazing to have on the table when so much of this meal is very rich. In fact, we recommend saving some of the salad until your main platter arrives. Rootin’ Tootin Tomato Salad We also tried Wheezy’s Fruit Salad, which was watermelon. But again, when you are having a very meat-heavy meal, some nice, refreshing watermelon is a great addition to the table, plus it was perfectly ripe and sweet. Wheezys Fruit Salad Next, we tried Slinky Doooooooooog’s Mac & Cheese. The pasta here was very well cooked, but we wish there had been more cheese sauce throughout. The cheese sauce that was there was fantastic, but more would have really taken this to the next level. Overall, this was very good and will definitely be a fan-favorite side. Slinky Doooooooooog’s Mac & Cheese Another we tried was The Claw! Veggie Slaw. This was unfortunately our least favorite item on the menu. It did not have a great texture, and felt a bit limp under the weight of the dressing. The tomato salad was much better if you’re looking for a refreshing bite on the table. The Claw! Veggie Slaw Next up were the Potato Barrels. These were fairly plain in taste but cooked very well with a great crispy exterior. We can see these being a fan favorite for any kids at the table! We also tried the Cowpoke Corn on the Cob, which is grilled street corn. This might have been our favorite item on the platter! It was incredibly well cooked, and you could taste the fire from the grill. There was a perfect amount of cheese, and these were an amazing side to accompany the richness of the meat. Cowpoke Corn on the Cob The last side we got was the Buckin’ Baked Beans. These were smoky with bits of burnt ends and were very good! They were well cooked, and the sauce was really tasty. While we would prioritize trying some of the other items on the platter, they were still a great addition to the meal. Buckin’ Baked Beans Now, on to the main event: the Meat Platter! This came with Evil Dr. Smoked Pork Ribs, Buttercup’s Beef Brisket, There’s a Sausage in my Boot – Smoked Pork Sausage, and BBQ Chicken – with Style! Starting with the Brisket, which was our least favorite meat on the platter. It was unfortunately pretty dry; the flavor was decent, but it really relied on sauces to help with both the flavor and dryness of the meat. Meat Platter The chicken was surprisingly well cooked with a lot of juice and really great spices. We didn’t even need to add any spices to this one since it was so well seasoned and spiced. This was really amazing! Then the smoked sausage was fantastic, with an amazing flavor and a great snap. Once again, the seasoning was so good we did not need any extra sauce! Meat Platter Now, the Pork Ribs were our favorite meat on the platter! They had an amazing flavor where you could really taste the smoke, plus the spice rub and bark on the exterior brought an amazing sweetness that balanced everything out. Meat Platter Lastly, for dessert we chose the Goat’s Banana Cream Pie. This dessert was slightly disappointing. We were hoping there would be bits of actual banana here, but it leaned slightly more artificial in taste. The size here was also extremely small, but this would probably be something kids or pickier eaters would enjoy. However, if you’re looking for an authentic Banana Cream Pie, that is not what you’ll find here. Goat’s Banana Cream Pie Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You or anyone in your group loves Toy Story. There is no denying that this is an incredible spot to visit if you are a Toy Story fan. The level of immersion and detail is truly incredible, and the interactive moments, like when they yell, “Andy’s Coming,” and the whole restaurant freezes, really are what make this such a special place to grab a meal. You want large portions for the price. If you are looking for a spot where you can get a lot of food, then this is a great option. The portions are really large, and they come with so many sides that there is plenty of food to go around. You are catering to a bigger group or pickier eaters. The food on this menu is pretty basic barbecue, with not a lot of unique flavors. Which means that it is a great spot to visit if you are worried about pleasing a larger group or if you have any kiddos who are pickier eaters and do not want to try more adventurous options. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You are looking for amazing barbecue. While the food here is decent, it is not the best barbecue you’ll find at Disney World. If you want to visit this restaurant for the great theming and all you care about is the food being decent, then that’s what you’ll find here. But we wouldn’t recommend visiting this spot if you are looking for exceptional barbecue. You want a more unique menu. While a basic menu with limited options is a pro if you are traveling with picky eaters, if you are hoping to try some really fun and unique offerings on your Disney World vacation, then this is not the spot to visit. You don’t care about Toy Story or fun theming. The biggest draw to visiting this spot is not the food, but really is the incredible theming. So, if that theming doesn’t matter to you, then you might be disappointed by the overall experience of dining at this restaurant. Overall This is one of those Disney World restaurants that you visit because the theming, atmosphere, and immersion are all incredible, not because of the food. With that being said, we still really enjoy visiting Roundup Rodeo BBQ and think the theming does make this spot worth it for some guests. Also, while the food is not out of this world, it was still pretty good, and if you love Toy Story, the theming more than makes up for the quality of the food! It’s no secret that The Walt Disney Company is going through a time of great change. A new CEO is now in charge, and cost-cutting measures have already started to make their way throughout the company. Walt Disney Company Headquarters in Burbank One of the biggest cost-cutting measures a company can employ are layoffs, and according to Bloomberg, thousands of layoffs could be coming to the company soon. Bloomberg reports that an inside source has stated that the company could be making thousands of job cuts soon, with managers being asked to target 20% in annual cost savings. Not all of the savings would come from job cuts, as expense reductions could also be considered. Depending on the department, some would probably have more cuts than others, as CEO Josh D’Amaro has said that he plans to reinvest part of the savings into film and television, technology, and the theme parks and Disney Cruise Line. Disney Cruise Line ship In August, D’Amaro outlined his biggest priorities for the company, which included turbocharging experience growth. Many new theme park and cruise ship projects are already underway to meet this priority. He also wants the company to grow content over time and increase shareholder dividends. Josh D’Amaro Disney has already cut billions of dollars in costs as well as cut thousands of jobs just over the past few years. These cuts have hit pretty much every division of the company, including theme park employees, employees at National Geographic and Pixar, and in tech and HR. The company is also reportedly planning to restructure its TV division, as well as make cuts in its legal and global affairs departments. The Walt Disney Company According to Disney President Dana Walden, the company must always evaluate its structure and how big it is. She said, Technology set their sights on our business, and we must survive and thrive and grow, and that’s what we’re going to do.” Dana Walden and Josh D’Amaro ©Disney We’ll keep an eye out for more news about these layoffs and keep you informed, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Whenever you’re at Disneyland Resort, using the app will make your trip 10x easier! It’ll keep you updated on wait times for attractions, let you know when shows are happening, help you order food, and help you navigate around the parks. Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland We like to check the Disneyland app even when we’re not at the parks, just to keep an eye out to see if anything updates with all the construction that’s happening. Well, it sure did! We spotted a change with the Disneyland app that now reflects some of the construction that’s currently happening. Disneyland Resort is currently undergoing its $1.9 billion expansion project known as DisneylandForward. Part of the project is a massive new parking structure on the resort’s east side. Disney has already broken ground on the new parking structure, which is set to hold 6,000 cars and be seven levels. Originally, it was supposed to be eight, but the size was reduced. ©Disney The garage will include 316 electric vehicle charging stations, and the structure will also have 18 shade canopies. A pedestrian bridge is also being built over Harbor Boulevard to connect the garage to the theme park esplanade, which means construction is also in progress in the eastern portion of the Esplanade. Disneyland has already removed the ticket booths in the east Esplanade. Construction With all of the construction happening with this DisneylandForward initiative, changes have arrived to the Disneyland App. Specifically, we noticed changes to the map that now reflect some of the progress on construction. You can see there are only two bus loops to the right of the Esplanade, with the rest of the area currently blank. Before, you could see multiple bus loops in that area. ©Disney That’s not the only change to the map! Behind Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland Park, the app is now displaying a large parking area with bus loops. However, before the change, the majority of the space behind the popular attraction was just green space. ©Disneyland The new parking structure means that the existing Disneyland bus drop-off and pick-up area along Harbor Boulevard will be relocated to Disneyland’s former Manchester employee parking lot near the I-5 freeway. @disneylandresortpresident Disney is currently looking at a 2028 opening timeline for the new parking structure, which makes sense considering how big of a project it is. DisneylandForward is more than just new parking space. It also includes adding the brand-new Coco ride to Disney California Adventure, as well as a reimagined Tomorrowland and a huge expansion coming to Avengers Campus. All that, plus more! ©Disney We’re going to keep watching the progression of DisneylandForward and update you with any new information. I’ve been working at the Disney Food Blog for five years now, and while you may think that it’s all DOLE Whips and sunshine, it’s not as easy as you might think. Really, I’m a hero. I’ve also been going to Disney World for over 30 years. Somewhere between my 400th Casey’s corn dog nugget and my third existential crisis in a quick-service line, I developed opinions. Strong ones. The kind that get you uninvited from group chats. Turkey legs are controversial Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Who asked?” Nobody. But you’re here, I’m here, and the comments section is right there waiting for your most unhinged replies. Go ahead and tell me I’m wrong. I’ll wait. (I won’t; I’ll be eating something better.) So grab a snack — not a sad heat-lamp one. We have standards. Let’s get into it. Some of my Disney food hot takes might not be that controversial, but Disney fans tend to be very… passionate about their opinions, so I’m fully preparing for some hate in the comments. Either way, we would love to hear your Disney World food hot takes in the comments, so hit us with your best! But first, let’s focus on me, okay? Summer House Cookies Are Better Than Gideon’s I said what I said, and I won’t apologize for it. HOWEVER, I feel it’s important you know that I don’t love a ton of toppings or fillings in my cookies. In fact, I prefer the cookie part of a chocolate chip cookie over the actual chocolate chips (my father-in-law makes chocolate chip-less cookies for me, and I love him for it!). So, I am definitely not the target audience for Gideon’s cookies in the first place. Summer House cookies, on the other hand, are utter perfection. Banana Box Pie Cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse They have the perfect balance of toppings to cookie — so you can taste the actual cookie — and in my opinion, they have better flavor options overall. The Thai Banana cookie is a personal favorite of mine, along with their snickerdoodle. Oh, and did I mention that you won’t have to wait in an hour-long line to get Summer House cookies? It’s kind of still a hidden secret, so you’ll rarely find yourself waiting in a long line to get these delicious treats. And, if there is a line, it moves pretty quickly, so you’re never too far from your cookies. Chocolate Chip Rice Krispy cookie from Summer House Overall, though, the team here at DFB (including AJ) LOVES Gideon’s, and while there’s a reason the shop is so popular, it’s just not one that appeals to me. Joffrey’s Is Better Than Starbucks When it comes to coffee at Disney World, your options are Joffrey’s and Starbucks. Based on the lines alone, it would appear that most people are staunchly Team Starbucks — but I am not most people. I’ve had Starbucks plenty of times, and I get why people like it, but I’ve always found their coffee to be bitter and burnt. To me, Joffrey’s is the opposite. Give me that Shakin’ Jamaican cold brew all day, baby! Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican Cold Brew Now, it’s entirely possible that my opinion may be biased because Joffrey’s originated in Tampa, and I’m a Tampa Bay native, but if I’m needing a pick-me-up in the parks, I will be hitting up Joffrey’s 100% of the time. It’s also entirely possible that this opinion is based on the fact that the lines at Starbucks can get insanely long at Disney World, while most Joffrey’s lines are more modest. Actually, wait, maybe I just don’t like lines… Turkey Legs Aren’t THAT Bad Listen, I get it. There’s something barbaric about gnawing on a giant turkey leg as you’re walking around a theme park. The smokiness and saltiness are extremely unappealing to people, but as we have already established — I am not most people. Are there better snacks at Disney World? Sure. Does eating a turkey leg in public unleash some sort of primal being in all of us? Most definitely. But sometimes, you just need protein, and a turkey leg is almost entirely that. Turkey Leg Of course, turkey legs aren’t exclusive to Disney World, and you can find them at other theme parks, Renaissance fairs, sporting events, etc., but I think they get a bad rap at Disney World especially. There’s a reason that they’re still selling them after all these years, and it’s certainly not because people aren’t buying them, you know? Turkey leg I know, I know, you probably don’t agree with my Disney food hot takes, but you know what? That’s okay. Don’t yuck my yum, and I won’t yuck yours. Unless you’re wrong, in which case I will debate you. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for even more Disney snack updates and beyond. Calling all festive foodies! Disney Festival of Holidays is returning to Disney California Adventure Park, and I’ve got your first look at the full holiday menu. From November 13, 2026, to January 6, 2027, delight in dazzling dishes and drinks inspired by flavors from around the globe. Toast to your taste buds with 38 offerings, such as all-new items like the Reimagined Beef Wellington, Chicken Pot Pie Wings, and TWIX Bits Iced Chocolate. And say hello again to returning favorites such as the Cafe de Olla Cold Brew, Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta, and Braised Pork Belly Adobo. Already making your foodie list and checking it twice? You may want to add a Sip and Savor Pass to your holiday plans. This scannable credential includes 6 digital coupons redeemable for select food and non-alcoholic beverage offerings at Festival Marketplaces and participating dining locations. Look for the icon throughout this guide to identify items eligible for redemption with the Sip and Savor Pass. For more details, see our Sip and Savor Pass guide! Keep the festivities going with a festival-themed Disney Gift Card wristlet featuring the musical trio, The Three Caballeros, in their best fiesta attire. Find these wearable gift cards at select merchandise locations throughout Disney California Adventure Park and use them to make purchases at the Festival Food Marketplaces during the festival and around the Disneyland Resort. And that’s not all! The celebration extends beyond the menu with cultural performances, festival merchandise, and more. Enjoy festive performances like the Holiday Toy Drummers and Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season and be sure to say hello to Mickey Mouse and friends in their winter best on Buena Vista Street. Kids and those kids at heart can also stop by Redwood Creek Challenge Trail for Santa’s Holiday Visit!. Plus, don’t miss Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, featuring live entertainment and holiday eats inspired by traditions and storytelling from across Latin America. Halloween just wrapped up, which means two things: cooler weather and holiday celebrations! And boy, do we see it all around the parks! People are breaking out those sweatshirts! We’re at Disney World EVERY DAY trying food, finding new merchandise, keeping you up to date on all of the changes, and more, and while we’re here, we keep our eyes peeled for the latest things guests are doing. That includes what they wear, what they buy, and what they eat, and today, we’re sharing everything we’ve seen over the past week. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. What People Are Wearing The temperature in Orlando is starting to drop as the winter months come upon us, which is why we’ve been seeing a lot more guests wearing sweatshirts, and there are quite a few popular options. Take A Look At This Classic Zip-Up Hoodie! WDW Zip Hoodie One we see all the time is the Walt Disney World Zip Hoodie! This sweatshirt features a puff-ink “D” on the front chest, with “Walt Disney World” in puff-ink lettering in the park’s classic font across the sleeves and back. You can find a variety of colors across the property, including black, blue, green, cream, and more! view ON THE DISNEY STORE This Collection Is EXTREMELY Popular ©Disney This Girls Crew Disney Icons Collection is so popular that it sells out in an instant when it’s in stock! In this collection, there is a necklace, bracelet, and ring. While you may find these pieces in stores at Disney World, you can grab the ring online now! This ring is plated with 18k gold and features the four icons of the Orlando parks: Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom, Spaceship Earth in EPCOT, Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios, and the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom. view ON the disney store We’ve Seen This Next Collection A Lot Around The Parks ©Disney For people who are more into a pullover-style sweatshirt, this Women’s Walt Disney World Pullover Sweatshirt is a popular option. Like the zip-up, this sweatshirt comes in multiple colors. The front of the sweatshirt features appliqué lettering of the Walt Disney World logo in its classic font. It has dropped shoulders, raised seams, and side vents. “Authentic Original Est. 1971” and the Cinderella Castle are screen-printed below the logo. view ON the disney store What People Are Buying Christmas is under two months away, which means people are getting into the holiday spirit and buying holiday merchandise! Here is a look at a couple of things we’re seeing FLY off the shelves at the parks! These Plaid Ears Are A Must Plaid Christmas Ears The Minnie Mouse Plaid Ear Headband is THE go-to Christmas ears this season. This classic Minnie Mouse design features a red velvet bow accented with sparkling Mickey icon studs. These ears have a non-slip velour interior, so you don’t have to worry about them falling off your head while you wear them. view ON the disney store The Other Style Is Popular, Too! Christmas Minnie Ears Or you can grab the Minnie Mouse Fair Isle Holiday Ear Headband! This Minnie Mouse design features a red bow with green stripes. The ears are patterned with Fantasyland Castles, snowflakes, presents, holly, and Mickey Mouse icons. On the sides, you’ll find a green and red pattern for a final festive touch. view ON the disney store Don’t Forget About The Loungefly! ©Disney Of course, the Loungefly bags are going to be popular, too! This Santa Mickey Mouse Loungefly Crossbody Set is everyone’s favorite bag this holiday season. The zip bag is made with simulated leather and features a Santa Mickey appliqué against a festive scene of Christmas trees, gifts, and snowflakes complete with fluffy trim. It comes with a detachable red and white striped shoulder strap, which can be adjusted however you’d like it. And it comes with a Mickey icon coin purse, inspired by the popular red and white peppermint swirl candy. view ON the disney store What People Are Eating It’s officially November, which means we’re in the last month of this year’s EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. Because it’s coming to an end soon, we’ve seen people constantly hitting up those food booths in hopes of trying everything before it’s gone! Every time we go to EPCOT lately, it seems like the festival booth lines are so much longer than anything else. The Wedge Crowds Also in EPCOT is the Canada Popcorn Cart, which serves the beloved Maple Popcorn. We’ve noticed this line is a lot longer than usual lately, but it’s for good reason — that popcorn is DELICIOUS! This cart is open from 11 AM to park close. MAPLE POPCORN! Finally, we’ve noticed a lot more people BRINGING their own lunch to the parks. This could be due to the recent price increases that hit property-wide. It definitely seems like we’re seeing more families bring bagged lunches and coolers than there used to be. If you do want to bring your own food to the parks, there are a couple of things to remember: You cannot bring loose ice; glass containers and jars are prohibited, and you cannot bring a cooler larger than 24″ long x 15″ wide x 18″ high into the parks. One thing we love about visiting EPCOT is that we can visit each pavilion and it’s like stepping into that country’s culture, food, and shopping. Perhaps one of our favorite pavilions is the France Pavilion because we get access to all those delicious French pastries, crepes, wine, and more. France Pavilion The France Pavilion is also home to Impressions de France, an 18-minute widescreen film that showcases France’s beauty, charm, and joie de vivre. However, if you want to watch this film in 2027, you’ll have fewer chances to do so. Currently, the theater that houses Impressions de France also houses the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, with the day split between the two shows. Impressions de France plays from 9 AM to 9:30 AM and from 7 AM to 8:45 PM. However, as of January 2027, Impressions de France is dropping its evening hours and will only be playing in the mornings from 9 AM to 9:30 AM. That means you’ll have a very limited window if you want to catch the movie. Theater seats Meanwhile, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will have the same hours as it has currently: from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. So you’ll still have most of the day to catch that show. Beauty and the Beast theater entrance Now, Disney World’s hours only go as far out as January 12th, 2027, so this could be a temporary change and the evening hours for Impressions de France could return. However, Disney has not made any indication of what it has planned for the show. Impressions de France takes you on a virtual journey through the country, from Cheverny Forest to the palace of Versailles to Normandy, and Cannes, all to a musical soundtrack by French composers. France Pavilion Meanwhile, you can still spend time in France riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, grabbing a baguette at Les Halles, ordering a crepe at La Crêperie de Paris, enjoying a boozy ice cream martini at L’Artisan des Glaces, shopping for authentic French souvenirs, and more. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure rider entrance We’ll keep an eye out for more changes in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. You GUYS, last night was Disney Night on Dancing With the Stars and I basically spent two hours with my jaw on the FLOOR. ©Disney Our team has been particularly obsessed with Dancing With the Stars this season as we’ve had a workwide bracket challenge organized by yours truly. I’ve personally been a fan of the show for years (I first watched as a teen way back in the age of Zendaya on the show — it would be my literal dream to see her husband Tom Holland do it now), but last night was my fave theme night each season, where they roll out the over-the-top costumes and set designs to celebrate something we here at DFB absolutely love…Disney! And I personally have a lot of thoughts about how the night shook out. First of all, it’s important to note that this year’s theme was a dedication specifically to Disney on Broadway. Now, from the perspective of a fan, I was a little disappointed that a handful of the songs were not associated with Disney on Broadway shows — for example, Tangled and Peter Pan (which did have a Broadway show but it’s not associated with Disney or the song they performed). In addition, there were several songs performed that have been showcased multiple times on Disney night. It would’ve been nice to get some more representation from popular Disney on Broadway shows or from underrated Disney movie songs. But I suppose that there are some tunes that just choreograph better than others! ©Disney With that said, I’ve compiled my personal ranking of the dances of the night, starting with my lowest-ranked and ending with my best. Keep in mind that I’m not a professional dancer and I don’t have ballroom/latin experience. This is just speaking from the mind of a Dancing With the Stars fanatic and Disney Adult who had an absolute blast watching from the comfort of her couch. 11. “You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!” by Maura & Mark Unfortunately, someone has to be at the bottom of the list, and for me last night, that was Maura and Mark. She started out the season with some seriously shocking dance showings, topping the leaderboard for a while, but now she’s dropping down toward the bottom. As I mentioned above, this wasn’t a song from a Broadway show, but it was a more unique pick, so I appreciate that aspect. Also, the moment in the cage at the beginning of the dance made me chuckle. ©Disney But dance-wise, this fell a little flat. Jive is a very athletic and high-energy dance, so it was an…interesting choice to do it on a week when she didn’t have as much chance to build the stamina for it, since they only had six days between shows and were trying to do a team dance as well. She struggled a bit to place her legs with the landings throughout the dance, and it gave it a bit of a disjointed feel at times. If you’ve been paying attention to dance styles throughout the season, Mark has mostly been sticking to dances that keep Maura “in hold” and they were even attached for a decent portion of this dance. (Yes, the pros DO have say in what dance style they perform — this has been confirmed in interviews and TikToks multiple times this season.) I look forward to seeing her dance more on her own in the coming weeks. 10. “Satisfied” by Julia & Ezra Next up, we’ve got Julia and Ezra. The end of the night saw Julia going home in a somewhat-shocking elimination, considering she was topping the charts with social media growth and YouTube views for her dances. I loved that they went the full-on Broadway route with this song, and it was a tune that hadn’t been used on the show before. ©Disney The blend of Paso Doble and Revolutionary-era costumes and choreography was a lot of fun, but this dance lacked some of the attack I usually expect from Paso Doble. Her facial expressions and acting were on-point, but her feet didn’t quite stick into the ground with the power they needed. I’m sad to see her go, but I’m glad she got to do her nostalgic dances in the past few weeks first! 9. “Zoo” by Team Slaytopia I had this dance ranked a little higher and ended up moving it around after I rewatched it. The first of the two team dances, “Zoo” from Zootopia 2 was admittedly a more disappointing song choice, considering High School Musical has so many fans and so much nostalgia. When I watched this dance at first, I really enjoyed it, but seeing it again AFTER seeing its competitor made me realize just how big of a difference there was between the two performances. ©Disney The stars overall didn’t seem to be having as much fun in this dance, and while the individual sections were well-performed and entertaining, the group dancing didn’t feel like, well…a group. When they were all dancing at the same time, it just felt like there were four couples out there doing the same moves instead of a team working together to put on a show. Everyone shone nicely with their own partners, but I think they could’ve played a bit more fun and quirky with the group choreography instead of sticking to so much traditional ballroom. The group dances are a time to be creative! 8. “I See the Light” by Connor & Rylee It pains me to put Connor lower on this list after his spectacular performance on Horror Movie Night, but there were just some truly standout dances that ranked above him this week. The costumes and set for this dance were stunning, and the choreography that Rylee did was beautiful and elegant. Derek Hough compared it to a first dance at a wedding, and I have to agree. ©Disney But, as the judges said, Connor’s frame needs a bit of work to make it perfect. I’ve seen quite a bit of improvement in him since his earlier dances in frame, and that’s good news going forward. The unfortunate thing here is that after such a knock-it-out-of-the-park performance last week, I worry that going back into frame might’ve killed his momentum a bit (since he has struggled with his frame from the beginning). However, he was incredibly graceful and he’s really starting to look like a true dancer. I can visibly see how he’s getting more comfortable on the dance floor each week! Most improved across the season, indeed. 7. “A Star Is Born” by Amber & Pasha The next three dances were really hard for me to rank because they were all absolutely incredible and challenging choreography-wise. I landed with Amber and Pasha’s Quickstep to “A Star Is Born” from Hercules in the number seven spot because I found it to be just slightly less memorable than some others. Now, it’s important to note that Quickstep is often touted as the most difficult of the five traditional ballroom dance styles, and like the Jive, it’s a very athletic dance. ©Disney One thing I can truly appreciate about Pasha’s choreography is that he will give you traditional elements every time, and his dances will be a true showcase of what that style is meant to be. There were a lot of steps and it was fast-paced, really demonstrating just how much stamina and precision Amber has. Plus, her leading him for part of the dance? Impressive! She rocked that. My main docking points were that there was a LOT of flexing…a lot. It felt like they flexed their biceps five or six times. And also, this song has been used a handful of times on the show already. Seems like a strange choice to keep getting used when it’s not a super popular tune (I can forgive those that are uber popular for being reused over and over). 6. “Easy as Life” by Tatyana & Jan Like I said, this was a hard choice, but Tatyana and Jan landed in my number six ranking! They danced to “Easy as Life” from the Broadway show Aida and I was DELIGHTED by that choice. For Disney on Broadway Night, it was a great pull and brought some recognition to an underrated show. Plus, the dance was stunning, beautiful, moving…you NAME it. ©Disney Her lines were flawless and her body control was spectacular throughout the tricks. Every move was smooth and precise while also being graceful and lovely. They told a story through dance, and I could feel the raw emotion throughout the performance. They played the parts so well! My one wish is that they’d used a bit more of the floor. Sure, last week Connor and Rylee didn’t use much of the floor in their Contemporary, but because they were using a couch as a prop, it gave them a reason to dance in one spot. When the whole floor is open, it’s a bit more obvious. 5. “Under the Sea” by Ezra & Daniella The dance that came out on top from that middle cluster was Ezra and Daniella’s Samba to “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid. Like Quickstep is often considered the most difficult ballroom style, Samba is usually considered one of the most difficult Latin dance styles (along with Rumba) because of all the technicality and the difficult hip movements and “bounce” that you need throughout the dance. Ezra managed to nail SO many of the technical elements of this dance. ©Disney The samba rolls with the challenge of their height difference and his prosthetic were particularly extraordinary, and that series of turns near the end were SO fast and had my jaw dropping wide open. I really love the way that Daniella incorporates his prosthetic into her choreography and showcases things he can do that other people can’t. This boy is definitely making it to the finals, you guys. 4. “Be Our Guest” by Jenna & Val Now we make it into the two top individual dances of the night, and I went back and forth on which I would rank higher. Jenna Dewan and Val performed a Quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, and it was a spectacle! They brought out the full set and the stunning costumes for this one, but they didn’t stray from incredible technique and challenging choreography. ©Disney Her leg and foot work is so phenomenal and if they were in another circumstance, it would be impossible to tell which of them was the pro and which was the celebrity. That split jump?! Are you KIDDING ME?! This was so deserving of a perfect score, and I didn’t even want to blink while watching it. My only docked point is that it seemed like the opening before dancing was just a smidge too long. 3. “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” by Harry & Jenna And the star whose dance tops my list? Harry Shum Jr. with his Jazz to the iconic song from Mary Poppins with partner Jenna. WOW. Talk about looking like a pro and channeling the spirit of van Dyke! That could’ve been a real Broadway performance, and he just danced his heart out. ©Disney Jazz is often criticized for being one of the “easier” styles to perform and Jenna did not make this easy for Harry. She gave some truly difficult dance moves and made it a high-energy number that he executed flawlessly. It was very athletic, from the knee turns to the toe touch that felt like he touched the sky. And can we talk about Jenna’s jump off the stage into the arms of the troupe? I gasped. I would watch this dance over and over again. 2. The Opening Number You may be wondering…what ranks higher than Harry? Well, I wasn’t planning to include the non-competitive dances in this ranking but I simply couldn’t resist talking about the show-stopping opening number they did last night! It had songs from Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, The Greatest Showman, and The Lion King with some memorable vocal performances. I love when Dancing With the Stars does big opening numbers, and this one will be one of my favorite for a while. It’s just so fun to see the pros show us exactly why they’re PROS. 1. “We’re All in This Together” by Team Wildcats But far and away the top dance of the night, not for its technical prowess or its ballroom content, but for its pure joy, is Team Wildcats’ performance of “We’re All in This Together” from High School Musical. From the moment I saw which stars and pros were on this team, I knew the dance would be amazing, but I couldn’t have anticipated how fun it would be to watch. You could really tell how much they enjoyed being a team! ©Disney The individual sections were really great, considering you had some of the season’s strongest dancers showing off their talents, but the group dancing is what really made this so much better than the other team dance to me. The stars still rocked it without their pros by their side, and they actually looked like they were having a great time. There was energy and excitement and it felt electric. I’m predicting now that this is going to be the most-watched dance on YouTube this week! ©Disney So there you have it, all the dances from Disney Night ranked! The Muppets are getting into the holiday spirit, and you know what that means — it’s time for us to do the same! What The Muppets say, goes, in our opinion. ©Disney We got word a few weeks ago that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be getting a holiday overlay this year, and now, we’ve got even better news. The PhotoPass photos we get from the ride are some of our favorites with all the different designs, and now there are NEW holiday designs to enjoy during the season! Disney has just released three new PhotoPass shots you can get for riding Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets! From November 4th through January 6th, you’ll get all three of the following festive photos when you ride. The first features your photos inside a Christmas tree, surrounded by colorful lights, ornaments that are Muppet-themed, with a colorful candy cane-like striped border around your photo. ©Disney The second is a horizontal photo, putting your photo to the left of the ride’s logo, with a graphic of The Electric Mayhem in red and green line art. At the bottom, you’ll see “G-Force Records Presents The Electric Mayhem One Night To Rock The Halls.” Then, underneath your photo, you’ll see an ornament and the year 2026 (that will likely change to 2027 if you ride in January). ©Disney Finally, the third photo has your picture against a red background, complete with “Merry Mayhem.” Underneath your photo, you’ll see Animal in a Santa hat on one side of the G-Force Records logo, with Kermit in a Santa hat on the other. ©Disney You will need to have PhotoPass for the day to download these photos, but you’ll be able to see them in your My Disney Experience app whether you have PhotoPass or not (though there will be a watermark over them if you don’t) — that way, even if you don’t necessarily want to keep them or save them, you can still check them out quickly! If you’re looking forward to the holiday overlay as much as we are, it’ll be taking place on the same dates that these new ride photos are available: November 4th, 2026 through January 6th, 2027. It’s officially called Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay, and we know that festival music will be playing throughout the courtyard. In the pre-show room, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips are deep in rehearsals for their holiday spectacular, where a few familiar Muppets friends will stop by the studio to offer a helping hand (or try to). ©Disney On the actual ride, you’ll get to hear one of four songs, though Disney has only listed three at this time. We know for a fact we’ll get to hear: Holiday Road – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson Silver Bells – The Electric Mayhem ft. Cyndi Lauper Haven’t gotten to see what the Muppets overlay looks like on this ride yet? Check out our video below!
