Did you notice this change that just took place at EPCOT? EPCOT July 1st was Canada Day, and a brand-new poutine location, La Poutinerie, took over what was formerly the Refreshment Port. However, that’s not the only change that hit the park, and this subtle one may be easier to miss than the new dining spot! A new park map is now available at EPCOT, and this version has the brand-new dining spot that just arrived at the Canada Pavilion. The Canada eatery also has a “NEW” tag with it. New park map! The map also has a new “EPCOT at night” section, which matches the new cover, which features EPCOT when it gets dark. The last EPCOT map we saw said “Fun for Kids of All Ages” with a daytime photo. The inside also contained content on play zones, which was obviously geared towards Cool KIDS’ Summer (which isn’t over). EPCOT at Night! The new “EPCOT at Night” section highlights Luminous: The Symphony of Us, the Lights on Spaceship Earth, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. The section highlights ways that these attractions are unique experiences once the park gets dark. Everything you can do at “EPCOT at Night” While there were additions, we noticed that some things are gone now. The DuckTales World Showcase Adventure section has been removed, and the “Indoor Theaters” section that listed the 20-minute shows is gone as well. Those experiences are still available, but they just aren’t highlighted anymore. List of experiences at EPCOT You’ll also notice that a ton of the offerings for kiddos, including Character Greetings, Kidcot Fun Stops, and the play areas, are all now grouped together under a single “Fun for Kids of All Ages” heading. Before, they spread across multiple panels. New EPCOT park map! The agents at Small World Vacations know how to save money on your Disney Vacation! Slinky Dog zipped by in Andy’s backyard and the Toy Story Land magic had shrunk us to the size of the Green Army Soldiers. But our appetites were as big as ever, so Laura, Nicole, and I headed into Roundup Rodeo BBQ for an all-you-care-to-eat lunch fit for the hungriest of cowpokes. Strolling under the Roundup Rodeo BBQ entry, (where BBQ is spelled out with a few mismatched stickers) we knew we were in for a very playful lunch. This playset, like the rest of Toy Story Land, was cobbled together by Andy via his usual mediums, like cardboard box pieces, toys, and his own crayon drawings. I know what Laura is getting for Christmas this year. C’mon In and Have a Seat We were welcomed in and right away, Andy’s toys (the friendly cast members) reminded us that this was a place to play. It was Laura’s first time at this BBQ, and tradition dictated that as a greenhorn (that’s cowboy for “newbie”), she had to earn her spurs and trot her way in on a loyal steed. Nicole and I welcome any and all antics, so we encouraged Laura to ride like the wind … at least for a moment. After a photo, we surrendered our horses to smaller guests who we saw actually gallop all the way to their tables with glee. Every seat is a good one, with lots of scenery at play. In case you didn’t catch it, this place was made for fun. Inside, you’ll find that Andy has set up some of his favorite toys and packaging to create one of the most unique eateries this side of Midway Mania. My favorite spot is where Andy repurposed a milk carton for the toys. Don’t worry, Zurg is just here for the cheddar biscuits. There are a couple of main areas inside, but no matter where you sit, you’re going to be part of the action. The lighting is subdued in fun, tinted hues, but not overwhelming. Western swing fills the air, including one of my favorites, Act Naturally, and, of course, an upbeat version of You’ve Got a Friend in Me. In between songs, you’ll hear a few familiar characters joining in the fun with silly announcements and even — Sorry, I had to freeze there for a minute, Andy came in. That’s right, sometimes you’ll hear “Andy’s coming!” and once you stop moving, you’ll have a chance to look around (with your eyeballs only, please) and see every single person — cast members and guests — stop in their tracks. Making eye contact with a fellow toy across the room while we were both mid-bite is something I won’t soon forget. What’ll it Be, Partner? I was busy giggling about how our tableware looked like picnic paper plates, but Nicole, our Disney Eats expert and guide to all our culinary adventures, gently reminded me to pick up the menu and choose a beverage. We each tried a grown-up drink. Nicole ordered the Whinnyin’ Whiskey Lemonade, with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Aperol Liqueur, strawberry purée, lemonade, and basil. “It’s a refreshingly delicious drink with some sweetness that isn’t overwhelming,” she shared about this sip. I requested the Coal’d Fashioned, which was a saloon-worthy mix of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, cinnamon syrup, orange bitters, Angostura bitters, and a cute orange wheel. Through lunch, I learned that this Western twist on an old fashioned was the perfect sip to pair with all the hearty food choices. Laura got the Prickly Spur Long Island, a fantastical purple concoction of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Bacardí Superior Rum, Bombay Sapphire Gin, El Jimador Silver 100% de Agave Tequila, Triple Sec, desert pear syrup, lemon juice, and Sprite. She said, “It’s not too strong, and it’s a little sweet. The desert pear is a great flavor for a backyard picnic.” And we couldn’t resist ordering one of the kid-friendly drinks. When there’s gummy candy on the menu, you have to get involved. In addition to the candy, the Partysaurus Tex features Minute Maid Premium Lemonade and strawberry purée. The strawberry and lemonade together was such a good combo, turning this drink into a bright, sweet treat. And stay tuned to the rest of the roundup, kids, because when the meat platter hit the table, we ordered another sweet drink with a candy twist that you’ll want to see. The plant-based Rootin’ Tootin Tomato Salad and Wheezy’s Fruit Salad Saddle Up with These Starters Right on the heels of our drinks, The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly arrived. These are a bit of a darling here at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and Laura was impressed with her first bites. Nicole and I already knew the glory of the cheddar biscuits, so we waited for Laura’s reaction. Surprised a bit by the pepper jelly, she was soon converted into a stan like us, “Okay.” Pause for dramatic effect, “You can’t go wrong with a cheddar biscuit, but this is top tier. This is the appetizer for a backyard BBQ.” The Rootin’ Tootin’ Tomato Salad had cucumbers, pickled red onion, and tomatoes drizzled in a white balsamic vinaigrette. My grandpa always made a similar salad for family reunions in Kentucky, so I was all about this one. And Wheezy’s Fruit Salad had fresh mint thrown in, making it such a good refreshing bite before our main course. Nicole serves up another heapin’ helpin’ of Trixie’s Plant-Based Trio. Save Room for All the Fixin’s To truly try everything and give you our full Roundup Rodeo review, we ordered both the House-Smoked Items and Trixie’s Plant-Based Trio. Now, talk about rustlin’ up some grub: Let’s start with a tasting of the House-Smoked platter. The House-Smoked platter includes the Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs, Buttercup’s Beef Brisket, There’s a Sausage in my Boot – Fire-grilled Pork Sausage, and BBQ Chicken – with Style! Laura’s favorite was the brisket and she raved between bites, “It truly melts in your mouth.” She tried all three of the available BBQ sauces with the meat, and clocked that a neighboring table asked for ketchup instead. What I love about all-you-care-to-eat is all the flavor combos you can make on your plate. And all the fixin’s were here: Potato Barrels, Slinky Doooooooooog’s Mac & Cheese, Cowpoke Corn on the Cob, The Claw! Veggie Slaw, and Buckin’ Baked Beans. I’m always happy to see a potato barrel, and I kept pairing them with bites of brisket and the oh-so-flavorful mac & cheese. Now, the mac & cheese is the kind of side you keep going back for. Laura thought so too: “Super spiral! This mac & cheese is something special. Of course, the spirals make me think of Slinky, and the creamy goodness of this sauce is so good.” As fiddles and banjos filled the air, we ordered up another drink: Molly’s Frozen Berry Splash. It’s a combo of blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry syrups added to lemon juice and SKITTLES POP’d Original Freeze Dried Candy. This drink reminded me of fifteen minutes ago, when I was eating the cheesy cornbread with pepper jelly on repeat: Molly’s Frozen Berry Splash added a refreshing burst of berry between my savory BBQ bites. Look, I don’t make the rules, I just know what I like, and sometimes that’s SKITTLES and brisket. While the House-Smoked platter was plenty tasty, we dug into Trixie’s Plant-Based Trio to try some truly unique takes on BBQ veggies. The trio included Combat Carloflower with Harissa Drizzle and Walnut Gremolata, Scrumptious Bratwurst, Rip Roarin’ Rib Chop featuring Barbecue-seasoned and glazed IMPOSSIBLE Beef. The hunks of ‘Carloflower’ were generously seasoned with the harissa (but not too spicy for a wuss like me) and the plant-based bratwurst was a hearty addition. The real star, though, for me, was the Rip Roarin’ Rib Chop. The sauce and texture of each ‘rib’ piece was so juicy and sumptuous; it tasted like the real thing. Nicole raved about the Rip Roarin’ Rib Chop, too, “There’s a slight kick, but a good kick. There’s a lot of flavor to it and I’ve never seen anything like it!” For sides, the Potato Barrels, The Claw! Veggie Slaw, and Buckin’ Baked Beans are all plant-based. This was more food than you can shake a stick at, so after a couple plates, we were just about to say “howdy” to some dessert. Circle Up for Chuckwagon Desserts As part of our meal, we each picked out an individually-portioned dessert. There are five to choose from: Bo’s Seasonal Cheesecake, Billy’s Chocolate Silk Pie, Goat’s Banana Cream Pie, Gruff’s Strawberry Shortcake (Plant-based), and Cupcake à la Forky. Rain and Laura, in disbelief that they are eating more, compare adorable desserts. The Cupcake à la Forky is a festive option that Laura just couldn’t pass up. It features gooey chocolate cake, graham cracker buttercream, and an adorable Forky sugar cookie on top. Billy’s Chocolate Silk Pie Dessert A seasoned cowpoke around these parts, I already knew that Billy’s Chocolate Silk Pie was my favorite. It was smooth, airy, and the best finish for my lunch. Goat’s Banana Cream Pie Dessert Goat’s Banana Cream Pie was the standout for Nicole, but she let us know that the Bo’s Seasonal Cheesecake and Gruff’s Strawberry Shortcake were also pretty hard to choose from. Head ‘Em Up and Move ‘Em Out When the last of the gummy candies were gone from our Partysaurus Tex and we were all out of “Yee haw’s,” it was time to hit the trail. Our server asked if we wanted to take the rest of our Molly’s Frozen Berry Splash to go and we tipped our hats and said, “much obliged.” We definitely left full of both BBQ in our bellies and down-home music in our heads. When Laura was already talking about the cheddar biscuits on the way out, Nicole and I knew she was already a Roundup Rodeo BBQ veteran. You and your folk can come on down to Andy’s backyard to wrangle up some chow of your own. Book via the My Disney Experience app or on the Walt Disney World website. We suggest you book early to lasso the reservation time that best suits your day. The post Come Sit with Us: Our Rootin’ Tootin’ Roundup Rodeo BBQ Review appeared first on Disney Parks Blog. A popular Disney World restaurant is closing in a couple of months! EPCOT It’s been a year of openings and closures at Disney World, and now a popular restaurant in EPCOT is about to get added to the list. If you’ve got a Disney World trip planned for after the summer, you’re going to want to hear about this! The Coral Reef Restaurant, located in the Seas Pavilion at EPCOT, is set to temporarily close on September 8th. Disney hasn’t announced a timeline or an official opening date as of right now. What we do know is that Disney plans on reopening the dining spot later in 2026. Coral Reef Restaurant What we are also unaware of right now is the reason as to why the restaurant is closing. This could be a refurbishment, but it could also be a seasonal closure. Coral Reef actually shifted to a reduced, dinner-only schedule early this year, in January. Disney never said whether that change was temporary or permanent. This closure, coming in September, could be the next step in whatever adjustment is taking place at the restaurant. The windows are pretty iconic! After January 3rd this year, Coral Reef ended its lunch service. So, the restaurant has only had operating hours from 4 PM to 9 PM every day since January 4th, becoming a dinner-only dining option. So, could this be a refurbishment? Yes, it could. However, changes have been taking place at the restaurant, and this closure could be the next step in whatever master plan is in store for this popular spot. The check-in area We’re hoping that the restaurant won’t be unavailable for too long. Although the food is notoriously NOT our favorite, it is such a unique dining experience. Inside the restaurant are panoramic windows that look directly into the massive water tank at The Seas with Nemo & Friends. You’ll see tons of sea creatures swimming around while you eat. That includes sharks, rays, sea turtles, and fish. Entertainment while you eat! We’re hoping the closure doesn’t last too long, especially since there will be a lot of people coming to Disney World in the second half of the year. Although with EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival and Festival of the Holidays rounding out the year, maybe guests will be getting all their food from World Showcase instead. Coral Reef Restaurant We’ll be keeping an eye out for more news on the restaurant’s plans. We’re always on top of all the latest Disney news and updates, so you’re fully prepared for your Disney World vacation. Make sure to follow us at the Disney Food Blog, so you don’t miss anything! It’s not uncommon to have ride closures in Disney World, but sometimes, we see rides close for rather uncommon reasons. “it’s a small world” We’ve seen shutdowns in the past due to wildlife invasions or flooding ride vehicles, but this week, it seems that “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom had to close due to a fire. The video above from TikTok user @coachbragg shows folks walking out of the queue for “it’s a small world” as a Cast Member uses a fire extinguisher below on one of the ride vehicles. The New York Post shared accounts of riders on the attraction noting that the fire was caused by a portable phone charger inside a bag, not any of the features of the ride itself. it’s a Small World At the time of publishing, the ride is back up and operational. Disney hasn’t publicly confirmed the cause of the fire or spoken officially about the incident, but all seems to be working as normal again after the evacuation. We’ll keep an eye on the ride to see if anything changes. “it’s a small world” For more updates from Disney World, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media. I have a confession to make — I did not practice what I preached to all of you when it comes to my own Disney World vacation. Disney’s Saratoga Springs I have been going to Disney World since 1993, and my parents were hardcore Disney people. I’m talking rope drop to close with no breaks. So naturally, when I started planning my own trips, I built in no breaks—that is, until this last trip, when I learned my lesson. This is my official plea to my fellow Disney adults to learn from me, and I promise you’ll thank me after your next Disney World vacation. I’m talking about taking a midday break! For my entire life, I thought going back to the hotel in the middle of a Disney World day was a waste of valuable park time. I grew up being a rope-drop-to-park-close kind of Disney person, and once we entered a park, we stayed there. But after traveling to Disney World with two toddlers in the middle of June, I officially understand why so many hardcore Disney adults have adopted the midday hotel break trend. It wasn’t just helpful — it completely saved our vacation. After several hours of walking in the Florida heat and humidity, all of us desperately needed a chance to cool down, recharge, and simply exist somewhere that wasn’t a crowded theme park. Magic Kingdom We were staying at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and using our own car to drive back and forth between the parks and our hotel, which made the process incredibly easy. My biggest tip is to build this break directly into your schedule instead of treating it like a backup plan. This way, you aren’t missing any Lightning Lanes or dining reservations. We would spend the morning in the parks, head back to the hotel in the early afternoon, and relax for a couple of hours before returning for the evening. Some days, nobody even took a nap, but that wasn’t really the point. We watched TV, snacked, hydrated, charged our phones, and let our bodies recover from the heat. If you’re traveling with young kids, grandparents, or honestly, anyone visiting during the summer, don’t underestimate how much a simple air-conditioned break can improve everyone’s mood. Disney’s Beach Club Resort The biggest surprise? The midday break actually allowed us to stay in the parks longer overall. Instead of hitting a wall by 3 PM and calling it a day, we all felt refreshed and excited to head back out for nighttime entertainment, lower wait times, and cooler temperatures. I used to think leaving the parks meant losing valuable vacation time, but now I see it as an investment in the rest of the day. My advice is to stop treating a hotel break as “missing out” and start treating it as part of your Disney strategy. Whether you take a nap, swim at the pool, grab a snack, or simply lie down for an hour, giving yourself permission to reset may end up being the thing that saves your entire vacation. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Sometimes, stepping away from the parks for a few hours is exactly what you need to make the most of the rest of your day. Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at both Disneyland and Disney World in 2019, several elements of the highly praised – – and in some circumstances, highly controversial – – land have become prominent talking points. Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, characters, droids, Lightsabers, elements that were supposedly cut in development… and milk. Pink Milk One of the most talked about offerings in Galaxy’s Edge has been the milk, which is based on the blue milk famously featured in 1977’s Star Wars (later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope). However, the theme park lands offer more than one color, and some of them are better than others. So, before we get into ranking the milks, a quick rundown of the available flavors at the land’s Milk Stand. Blue Milk, which is described by Disney as a “plant-based Rice Milk with alluring fruity characteristics.” Green Milk, which is described by Disney as a “plant-based Rice Milk with zippy citrus and tropical characteristics” (Note: Green Milk is currently only available at Hollywood Studios). Pink Milk, the latest variant, which is described by Disney as a “plant-based rice milk with sweet and fruity characteristics.” Milk Stand Also, a quick note: Disney World does offer alcoholic and specialty milk beverages, but for today, we’re talking strictly about the originals. Check it out! So, now that we’ve established the milk flavors, which is best? Well, we’ve tried all of them many times over the years, and we have thoughts. While there are some differing options, the consensus amongst the DFB team is that Blue Milk takes the title “best milk.” The mix of dragon fruit, pineapple, lime, and watermelon is crisp but not very strong, giving Blue Milk a refreshing but somewhat safe flavor profile. Blue Milk For most of our team members, Green Milk came in second. This option’s emphasis on citrus with flavor notes of mandarin orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom definitely stands out more than Blue. Some love it, some not so much, making it the most “confusing” option for many who don’t quite know what to think. Green Milk Finally, there’s Pink. As we wrote when this flavor debuted in early 2026, we couldn’t really make out any individual fruit flavors, and we honestly thought it mostly tasted like artificially sweetened bubble gum rather than any real fruit. Those who like that flavor enjoy it, but for many of the team members, it edged below Blue and Green. Pink Milk However, our readers had a different take. Back when the Pink Milk flavor debuted, we polled our readers on social media and got some interesting results: 54% were Team Blue Milk 11% were Team Green Milk 35% were Team Pink Milk Suffice to say, the majority of respondents preferred the safer and sweeter flavors of Blue and Pink over the citrusy Green Variety. The double champion Of course, all taste is subjective, and you may have a totally different ranking of this Star Wars: Galaxy Edge’s collection of milk offerings. Stay tuned to DFB for more takes on Disney’s culinary offerings. “For Me, it Seems Incomplete”: Rise of the Resistance Needs These Critical CHANGES in Disney World Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! LEVEL99 is a brand-new interactive social experience at Disney Springs featuring 63 life-sized mini-games and challenges where you can dodge axes, crack puzzles, and outsmart challenges. It’s essentially a giant, futuristic arcade and entertainment center! LEVEL99 LEVEL99 is now our new favorite thing to do at Disney Springs, but while we were playing, we noticed that most game rooms require 2 to 6 players. LEVEL99 is an extrovert’s heaven, and this is why! LEVEL99 features three different kinds of activities: Games: Games are collaborative rooms where you go in with two to six people and work together to play a physical, mental, dexterity, teamwork, or timing challenge Duels: Duels are outside of the rooms where two people compete directly against each other Art Hunt: You’ll travel through the whole LEVEL99 building in search of glyphs (certain images within the art) and identify them on the kiosks to earn stars LEVEL99 If you didn’t notice, two-thirds of LEVEL99’s activities need at least two people to play. But the distribution isn’t even – LEVEL99 has 63 games and duels with only one art hunt. This means that 63 of 64 activities require a group of two or more players! Crystal Vision Since LEVEL99 caters to groups, it’s an extrovert’s heaven. Gather up your family or your five best friends and get ready to play! Disney World’s dining scene is about to get a serious upgrade. Six Ravens Between new theme park lands, resort expansions, and Disney Springs additions, the next year or two is shaping up to be one of the most exciting stretches for Disney World food fans in a LONG time! Here’s a look at SIX confirmed new restaurants and dining spots heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Harryhausen’s at Hollywood Studios Disney confirmed that the legendary sushi restaurant straight out of the 2001 Pixar film Monsters, Inc. is officially coming to the new Monstropolis land at Hollywood Studios. It’ll take over the former Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano space, and based on the concept art, it’s going to be a fully realized version of the monster world’s most iconic dining spot. The famous six-armed octopus chef will also be featured! ©Disney Here’s the really exciting part: we already have a preview of what this could look like. Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Adventure, is home to Mike and Sulley’s Flavors of Asia, which draws heavy inspiration from the film’s restaurant in both menu and design. The food is upscale Japanese dining, and the atmosphere is exactly as immersive as you’d hope. If Harryhausen’s at Hollywood Studios follows that lead, it could genuinely become one of the park’s best table-service spots. Disney has confirmed more details are coming at D23 this August. Disney World’s New Monstropolis Coaster Has Taken A BIG Step Forward! Hurly-Burly at Disney’s BoardWalk Over a year after JellyRolls closed, the BoardWalk is finally getting some new life. Hurly-Burly is described as a venue that will “welcome guests for fun-filled afternoons and glamorous evenings inside a historic seaside theatre with a vibrant BoardWalk story that spans over a century.” During the day, it’ll be a family-friendly spot with activities and trivia. At night, it flips to a 21-plus live music venue with coastal cocktails and light bites. Think of it as a more versatile replacement that can serve a wider range of guests throughout the day. It’s set to open in late 2026. ©Disney 6 MASSIVE Announcements From Disney World This Month An Unnamed Quick-Service at Disney’s BoardWalk Disney also confirmed that a brand-new quick-service restaurant is on the way to the BoardWalk, though details are being kept close to the chest for now. The official word is that more info is coming later this summer, and honestly, we think this is just what the BoardWalk needed — a solid counter-service option. While we don’t know the exact details, we can guess that it will be placed in the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works Restaurant. This is a big deal for resort guests who don’t always want a sit-down meal, and we’re very curious to see what Disney has in store. Big River Grille Construction NEW Store Announced for Disney World’s BoardWalk The Hacienda at Pueblo Esperanza (Animal Kingdom) When Tropical Americas opens in 2027, it’s bringing a dining option that’s going to turn some heads. Disney has confirmed that the new land, officially named Pueblo Esperanza, will include a hacienda-style building that will serve as one of the largest quick-service restaurants at all of Disney World. It’s replacing the footprint of the old Restaurantosaurus, and between the location and the size, it sounds like it’s built to handle serious crowd capacity while staying fully immersed in the new land’s Central and South American aesthetic. The Hacienda REVIEW: Why We Keep Coming Back to This Underrated Animal Kingdom Restaurant Six Ravens at Disney Springs The team behind Gideon’s Bakehouse is opening a second concept, and it’s coming to The Landing at Disney Springs. Six Ravens will serve hand pies called Coffyns, which founder Steve Lewis describes as old-school hand pies made with fluffy yeast bread pastry, filled with flavors crafted by Gideon’s kitchen alongside some of Orlando’s best local chefs. The menu will also include savory potatoes, local draft beer, and desserts. Construction progress is already visible, with an opening expected sometime in 2026. If it’s anything like Gideon’s, expect a line out the door. Six Ravens This NEW Disney Springs Restaurant Just Took a BIG Step Toward Opening An Unnamed Restaurant at Disney Lakeshore Lodge Disney’s newest resort, Lakeshore Lodge, is set to open on Bay Lake near Magic Kingdom in summer 2027, and concept art strongly suggests a waterfront restaurant will be part of the package. Originally it was announced that a Princess and the Frog-themed restaurant would be apart of this resort, but we haven’t heard anything since before the pandemic. The building appears to be positioned right at the edge of the shoreline, which could mean stunning views of the lake and potentially even the Magic Kingdom fireworks. It’s giving similar energy to Wailulu Bar and Grill at the Polynesian’s Island Tower, and we’re already excited about it. ©Disney Disney World’s restaurant lineup is genuinely evolving, and 2026 and 2027 are stacking up to be banner years for food lovers. My Disney Experience (aka the Disney World app) and the Disneyland app are really your gateway to the theme parks and beyond. These apps allow you to do everything, including purchasing and booking Lightning Lanes, checking wait times, scanning you into the parks, letting you mobile order food, and so much more. My Disney Experience App However, the apps were previously only available in one language: English. Well, that’s changed, and now you can get Spanish translation on both apps! Back in May, Disney promised a Spanish language version of My Disney Experience and the Disneyland app, and it seems like the company has finally started to roll out that update. New screenshots of My Disney Experience have been released with the app translated into Spanish. ©Disney Before the rollout of this feature, most Spanish-language speakers had to use tools like Google Translate to navigate around the app. Right now, most pages of the app are available in Spanish, but both Mobile Order and Mobile Checkout are still only available in English. It’s probably only a matter of time before Disney updates those pages, too, though. ©Disney The feature is rolling out to phones, so you might not see it yet, and the app will only be translated if your phone settings are set to Spanish. However, it’s another app update that plenty of folks have been waiting for, so navigating both Disney World and Disneyland just got a little bit easier. However, note that you can access several languages on the Disney World and Disneyland websites, including Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Japanese. We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney app updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 6 HUGE Disney World App Changes CONFIRMED Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since Epic Universe first opened, and we’ve spent a lot of time in Universal Orlando’s new theme park exploring all the different lands. One of our favorites might just be Dark Universe, though, so you can imagine our excitement when we spotted some permits suggesting something NEW was coming soon. Dark Universe A new permit suggests that a brand new attraction is coming to Dark Universe (well, we figured it out after putting a few clues together). Well, now, we’ve got some new photos showing this expansion. So for starters, we spotted a permit that suggested a new attraction in Epic Universe, but then another permit narrowed the location down to Dark Universe. Now, we don’t have any details on what this attraction will be or even if it has an opening timeline, but we do know that Universal is getting ready to build something in the land, thanks to some new photos from @bioreconstruct. One new aerial photo shows Dark Universe, as well as nearby areas of Celestial Park. ©@bioreconstruct A zoomed-in photo of Dark Universe, though, shows the expansion pad for the new project. This is where we can assume the new attraction will be going in the land. ©@bioreconstruct We also have some new photos of other expansion pads in Epic Universe. We do have to bring up that a permit filed in 2025 suggested Universal was adding either “a shop, warehouse, or restaurant.” We’re not sure if these expansion pads are related, though. But there seems to be plenty of space Universal has in mind for expansions. ©@bioreconstruct We’ll keep an eye out for more Epic Universe news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
