Change is nothing new at Walt Disney World. The resort is always evolving in both large and small ways, and that’s NOT just limited to its four theme parks, as Disney World’s hotels are also evolving this October! The waves are so fun! Over the course of the next month, Disney’s hotels will see everything from a NEW entertainment venue and refurbishments to seasonal decorations! Animal Kingdom Lodge Let’s begin with this popular Deluxe Tier Resort, which is in the midst of some major refurbishment projects. Over the course of October, the work will be split into two segments: September 28th to October 9th: The north side lobby corridor will be closed. During this time, the north side lobby elevators on the second floor and the outdoor terrace observation deck will be unavailable. October 26th to November 6th: The south side lobby corridor will be closed. During this time, Community Hall, Safari So Good Arcade, the laundry room, the Palace Library, lobby restrooms, and the outdoor terrace observation deck will be unavailable. Animal Kingdom Lodge Further rehab projects happening during October include: Boardwalk Exterior Refurbishment: Through Late 2026. Wilderness Lodge Exterior Refurbishment: Late 2026. Yacht Club Exterior Maintenance: Late 2026. All-Star Movies Refurb: Through January 2027. Coronado Springs Convention Center: Through September 2027 Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Hurly-Burly Since JellyRolls – – the Boardwalk’s very popular longtime dueling piano bar location – – shut its doors back in April 2025, the hotel’s nighttime offerings have been limited, taking away a big chunk of the appeal of staying at the resort. However, that’s about to change on October 1st thanks to the opening of the Hurly-Burly Lounge! Hurly-Burly Concept Art ©Disney During the day, this new entertainment offering will act as a family-friendly venue with activities and trivia games. At night, it will transition to a 21+ live music venue with coastal-inspired cocktails and light bites. Speaking of those bites, Disney has released the lounge’s menu, which includes: Meatballs in Tomato Gravy: Veal, pork, and beef meatballs with tomato gravy, stracciatella cheese, Pecorino Romano, and toasted focaccia (Plant-based option available upon request) Antipasto: Sliced meats, Burrata, Pecorino Romano, and marinated vegetables Mini Pretzels with Bacon-Cheese Fondue Tomato Pie: Focaccia, tomato sauce, oregano, and Pecorino Romano (Plant-based option available upon request) Oven-roasted Shrimp with garlic, herbs, and sweet pepper-onion relish Roast Beef Sliders: Shaved roast beef and horseradish-mustard sour cream on slider rolls Theater Concessions: Trio of meatballs, sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts with miso-caramel sauce ©Disney Grand Floridian Cafe Reservations Speaking of Disney dining locations, the Grand Floridian Cafe is close to reopening. The Grand Floridian dining location (what, the name didn’t give it away?) has been closed since the spring, but reservations are OPEN for the cafe now for seatings beginning November 2nd. Grand Floridian Cafe It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like… Well, You Know While the Halloween season runs all the way until October 31st, elements of the Christmas season will begin sneaking in certain places as October, including Disney World’s hotels, comes to an end. So keep an eye out before the bulk of decorations goes up just after Halloween. If you’re like us, anytime you see a Disney Parks ad or commercial, it just reminds you of all the good times you’ve had in the parks over the years and gets you really nostalgic (and ready to spend even MORE time in the parks). Disney is REALLY good at tugging on those heartstrings, after all. Mickey! Well, Disney just dropped a NEW ad online, and it’s all about the sounds you’ll hear in Disney Parks, and let’s just say we’re going to have this ad on repeat all day just to listen to it over and over. Disney just dropped a brand new ad that will make you think you’re in a Disney Park if you close your eyes and just listen. It’s full of your favorite sounds like a train whistle, the whir of a soft-serve machine, and more, combined with the melody of Steamboat Willie. But there’s more to this ad, too, because it’s also spotlighting Cast Members and some of the local businesses that Disney works with. The Walt Disney World Railroad The ad is a nod to the jobs that Disney supports nationwide: more than 403,000 jobs (and with thousands more coming soon). It’s also a nod to products and services supplied by small and local businesses to Disney Parks. According to Disney, “Those collective sounds represent a part of Disney’s annual U.S. economic impact of $67 billion.” Take a look at the ad here. Warning: these sounds are addictive. Disney even highlights four local and small businesses it works with in the parks: La Chef Bakery in California (cakes, fresh baked goods, and mixes), Southeast Dairy Processors in Florida (dairy supplier), Chef’s Garden in Ohio (fruits and vegetables), and Sobel Westex (pillowcase and linen supplier…and YES, you can buy those pillows online). We’re getting hyped for the NEW land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. @Disney Replacing the former DinoLand, U.S.A. is Tropical Americas, set to open in 2027. This space will have attractions themed to Encanto and Indiana Jones as well as new shopping and dining. We’ve been following the construction closely for a while now, but today we have new updates to share with you! We’re starting out this update with some photos from our in-park reporters, showcasing what you can see from outside the construction walls. Crews are busy working on the main entrance to the land and the archway is coming along FAST. It’s so much bigger now! Look at the entrance! We’ve also noticed some more rock work has been completed at the back entrance to the land. They built this structure from the ground up, and it seriously looks like old, weathered rock. The artistry is incredible! Lots of rock work coming along! From further back, you can see the support beams and structures for the rest of the construction site. There’s a lot of work still to be done, but things are coming along quickly. Wow! We’ve also got some photos to share from Twitter/X user @bioreconstruct. They share aerial photos from the theme parks, and this overhead view of the land gives us a LOT more info about how far along construction is. Here’s a glance at the land as a whole. The exterior of the building now has a temple-like structure on the front and it looks like detailing has begun to make it look weathered. Those colors are starting to really match the concept art! You can still see the familiar remnants of the old DINOSAUR building. Via @bioreconstruct on Twitter/X We also got a peek at the construction happening over at the quick service restaurant. They’ve kept the same basic building shape from Restaurantosaurus, but the entire landscape out front has been removed. There’s a circular structure out in front that looks like it could become a fountain or planter. Via @bioreconstruct on Twitter/X Of course, the shops are getting an overhaul as well. Where Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures and the restrooms used to be, the buildings are still standing. The old DinoRama area has been completely removed, and it looks like the pathway next to the gift shop is getting opened up a bit. Disney has confirmed the return of one of their longest-running and most beloved annual traditions… and the celebrities coming along with it! Josh Gad narrating the 2024 Candlelight Processional The Candlelight Processional – – which features excerpts of the Biblical Christmas story tied together with classic hymns – – first began in Disneyland back in the early 1960s. The event came to the East Coast during Walt Disney World’s first holiday season in 1971, and was initially performed in Magic Kingdom’s Town Square. In 1994, the Candlelight Processional was moved to Epcot, eventually becoming the centerpiece of the park’s sprawling Festival of Holidays celebration, where it has been staged since. Over the years, both versions of the Candlelight Processional have featured a tremendous collection of celebrity narrators, including luminaries like Cary Grant, John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck, Charlton Heston, James Earl Jones, Van Dyke, John Stamos, and Chris Hemsworth. Who’s ready for a little magic? Moonlight Magic If you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member, then you’re used to getting the most out of our perks. If you’re ready to get fast and furious at Universal Orlando, you’ve probably been keeping track of progress on the construction of the new Fast & Furious roller coaster coming to Universal Studios Florida. ©Universal Construction for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift at Universal Orlando: Hollywood Drift started earlier this year, and we’ve been doing our best to keep up with progress on the new roller coaster, which is set to open in 2027. The new coaster will be located where the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit once stood and will include 360-degree drifting cars racing along the tracks at high speeds. Now, we’ve got a new look at construction progress on the ride! Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X, we just got some new aerial photos of construction progress on the roller coaster. The first photo shows a rig that’s been added to the top of one of the coaster’s hills. This will be used for pull testing, which means that a test vehicle will be moved through the track to determine if anything needs to be adjusted for safety and clearance. ©bioreconstruct Here’s a photo of the construction team adding that rigging. Whew! That is high up! This is certainly not a job for someone who has a fear of heights. RESPECT. ©bioreconstruct Back on the ground, we’ve got some photos of a shipping container on a trailer of a jackknifed truck at the start of the ride. ©bioreconstruct Here’s a view of the semi itself. ©bioreconstruct Doors were recently added to the center of the shipping container, but it’s unclear as to what these might be used for. ©bioreconstruct Just a little bit after the rig photo was posted, we got a photo of a car in pull testing on the ride. So this part of ride testing is already underway, which puts it just one step closer to opening. ©bioreconstruct Here’s a photo zoomed in a bit so you can see how the pull testing works. There’s an envelope around the car that is basically how far outside someone could reach, but it also acts as an extension of the car body when it rotates. ©bioreconstruct Here’s another photo of pull testing located at the end of the coaster’s first launch. However, the pull testing vehicle is facing the reverse direction. ©bioreconstruct So construction progress is coming along, and we’re starting to see the first pull testing. This coaster is making HUGE progress, and it looks like it’s still set to open in 2027. Choosing the right hotel to stay at for your Universal Orlando vacation can be difficult, but don’t worry — we’re here to help! Universal Orlando We recently stopped by the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, so come along with us for the FULL TOUR of one of their guest rooms! Atmosphere The Loews Royal Pacific Resort is located near Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, with complimentary transportation via water taxis and buses for its guests. Hotel guests also get the perks of early admission and FREE Express Pass Unlimited with valid theme park entry. Loews Royal Pacific Resort The resort is themed as an “exotic South Seas paradise” with a lagoon-style pool surrounded by a white sand beach and swaying palm trees, innovative food and drinks, and traditional tropical entertainment like the luau! Loews Royal Pacific Resort Pool The hallways leading up to the rooms are also quite themed, with seashell and ocean designs in the carpet and bright whites and blues on the walls. The hallways are themed! Standard Rooms Standard rooms can either have two queen beds or one king bed. We’re touring a room with two queen beds, and that’s exactly what you’ll see when you walk in. Each bed will have four pillows for sleeping and two decorative pillows. You’ll find the designs on the walls to be very on theme, with very large, beautiful flowers. Look at those flowers! These rooms also feature a dresser space and a desk and chair, so there is plenty of space to put your belongings when you stay here. There is also a TV — the perfect way to unwind after a long day at the parks! So much space! Although room views may differ, we had a beautiful view of the pool and a lot of other buildings at Universal. This view was beautiful! The bathroom features a single toilet and a shower that can also be used as a bathtub. Complimentary body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are located in the shower, as well as a shelf for your own toiletries if you so choose. The bathroom A door separates the toilet and shower area from the sink area, so two people are able to use the area at the same time; however, there is only one sink. A large mirror also hangs above the sink, so no one has to fight to see themselves getting ready! We love the mirror! Other Information Like every other Universal resort, Loews Royal Pacific Resort has concierge, a vacation planning center, a luggage holding area, Avis car rentals, a small gift shop, and a Starbucks that also has ready-to-go food. Other dining locations at this resort include Islands Dining Room, Jake’s American Bar, Orchid Court Lounge & Sushi Bar, Tuk Tuk Market, and Bula Bar & Grill. Room service is also offered. Bula Bar & Grill If you’re bringing your own car during your stay, be prepared to pay for parking each day. To park overnight, it will cost $36 plus tax per night per vehicle to self-park and $45 plus tax per night per vehicle to overnight valet. If you’re only parking at the resort during the day, it will cost $53 plus tax to self-park or $56 plus tax to valet. For a limited time, the Churros are returning to U.S. Costco food courts. ©Costco Costco has not yet announced how long these treats will be available for or even exactly when you can expect to see them in store. They just shared that the exact launch dates will vary depending on the store, but they will begin popping up in the next few weeks. These famous Twisted Churros are available for $1.49, so keep an eye out next time you visit your local Costco to see if they are there. Costco This announcement was made on the Costco Instagram, and the comments are already flowing in with fans begging for the change to be permanent, with one user stating, “PLEASE KEEP IT UP THERE FOREVER” while another shared, “Limited time?!??! Make it permanent!!!!” We hope these snacks stay around for a while, but you never know when they will be leaving again, so make sure to snag yours soon if you see them available in your local store. You’ve got a TON of options when it comes to dining at Disney World. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory We recently stopped by Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory to check out a dessert we think you’ll want to know about. Over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, you’ll find Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, a counter-service spot that offers plenty of fresh eats and a variety of grab-and-go options if you’re just looking for something quick to eat on your way to the parks or back to your hotel room. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory We recently stopped by to try the Big Easy Custard, which you can get for $4.99. This is a beignet-flavored custard with a praline topping, and you’ll find it in one of the grab-and-go cases at Sassagoula. Our first impression of this dessert is that it is VERY sweet — our first bite was mostly praline, and it tasted like a very sweet icing with pecans in it. Luckily, the custard helps to balance out some of that sweetness. The praline mixed with the custard is really fantastic — it’s sweet, nutty, and creamy all at once, with a hint of that vanilla beignet flavor from the custard itself. Big Easy Custard There isn’t a ton of the praline topping, and we wish that some had been mixed in with the custard so that it wasn’t all gone before we got to the bottom. The pecans in the praline added a really nice crunch to an otherwise one-note texture, which was very welcome. This is also definitely a shareable dessert — while it might not seem huge, it’s dense and rich and would make a great end to a meal. It’s also a pretty decent value, since it’s shareable and only $5. Overall, we think this is a fantastic dessert — especially if you like custard or praline — and worth stopping by Port Orleans to get! One of the best parts about staying at a Disney World hotel has to be all of the food around the resorts. Especially at the Deluxe Resorts, which have a plethora of fantastic dining options to choose from. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge But if you’re staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge this week, you’ll want to hear this news because it’s about to get more difficult to eat at one spot. This week, The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will be available through Mobile Order only as both the food court and dining room close for brief maintenance. The full menu is set to be available, and the required Mobile Order will last from September 21st through September 25th. While this is slightly inconvenient for anyone staying at the resort, we are thankful that Disney has kept this spot open for guests to order food from, even if the actual space is closed. The Mara The Mara serves classic entrees as well as a selection of grab-and-go options. If you are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge this week and are looking for a dining location where you can sit and enjoy your meal, there are still several other options, including Boma, which is open for breakfast and dinner, serving an all-you-care to enjoy buffet. Boma There is also Jiko if you are looking for a more signature dinner dining experience. Jiko Over in the Kadani Village section of the resort, you can also eat at Sanaa, which is a sit-down restaurant serving African cuisine with Indian flavors, open for lunch and dinner. Sanaa There are also several lounges and pool bars around the resort you can visit for a quick bite to eat and a drink. We love dining at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and despite The Mara being offered through Mobile Order only, this should not impact your trip too much. It’s certainly no secret that Magic Kingdom is changing in a major way, with the upcoming additions of Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park. Piston Peak National Park While we might not know exactly when either new land will open just yet, Disney is already hard at work making them come to life. Construction is well underway, and we’ve been doing our best to keep an eye on it — even though it’s not easy to spot from the ground. Luckily, there are some new photos that give us a better look at how things are going. Let’s check them out! Things are certainly moving along with construction at Piston Peak National Park! Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter, we have new aerial photos of the land, complete with a large tower crane in the middle, which is likely for constructing the Cars Ridge Run Rally ride. Access to Piston Peak will be between the exit area of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Haunted Mansion, so now those two areas of the park will be directly connected. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter You can see Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the upper right corner of the photo below, just to give you an idea of exactly what you’re looking at. Disney has shared that the Peak in Piston Peak will be designed to match the nearby attractions, including these. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter Here’s another look at the construction, this time from the Big Thunder Mountain Queue. While the land won’t be large in terms of size, it will be packed with two rides, and potentially dining and shopping as well, though Disney hasn’t officially announced anything. The upcoming area is inspired by National Parks, and more specifically Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The name of Piston Peak stems from the fictional land, Piston Peak National Park, from the 2014 Disney film Planes: Fire & Rescue (which is part of the Cars universe). If you’ve been following Disney World news closely over the past few months, then you know there have been a lot of changes in one Animal Kingdom line. Expedition Everest Recently, Disney has changed the way they load guests on Expedition Everest, making the Single Rider line move more slowly. But now the Single Rider line has been officially removed. Single Rider lines are one of our best tips for getting on certain Disney rides a little quicker; if you don’t mind being split from your party, you can save a lot of time in line. And one of our favorite, and most efficient, Single Rider lines was Expedition Everest. You could save a lot of time and get on the ride much quicker than the Standby line. Old Everest Single Rider Sign However, recently Disney updated the way they loaded guests onto the attraction. Instead of guests in the Standby making their way all the way to the front of the line and then being given a row, with single riders filling in the gaps, Disney started to pre-sort guests in the final room of the queue. In this room, guests are sorted into odd and even groups, meaning that there were fewer gaps for the single riders to fill in. Expedition Everest While this made the Standby line move more quickly, it made Single Rider much less efficient. Well, as of September 21st, Single Rider is no longer an option for this attraction. We visited the attraction to check it out, and sure enough, the Single Rider sign has been removed from the queue. Single Rider sign is GONE While this decision is not surprising given how much they have changed the loading process over the past few months, we are sad to see this Single Rider option go. However, we hope this will mean the Standby line will continue to move more quickly. Disney has also made it clear that this change only applies to Everest and that the other Single Rider lines around the parks will still be used! Do you remember the 21st night of September? Because it’s time to celebrate over at EPCOT! Crowds! Every year on September 21st, EPCOT plays the song “September” all day long at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It’s an awesome tradition, and today we visited to check out all the fun and see if the crowds showed up. Spoiler Alert: they did! One of the best parts about riding Cosmic Rewind is the songs that play on the ride. There is a selection of six songs that can play, and each time you ride, one of them is randomly chosen. The line is already long Many people have the goal of getting all six of the songs, which are: “September” “Disco Inferno” “Conga” “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” “I Ran” “One Way or Another” And if you only have “September” left, or it’s just your favorite, today is the perfect time to ride. The iconic opening line of the song goes, “Do you remember the 21st night of September?” and, as a fun tradition, “September” will be the only song to play at Cosmic Rewind today, September 21st! When we got to the ride this morning, the crowds were already showing up and getting in line. September 21st Crowds In fact, by 9:30 this morning, the line was already at 140 minutes, which is over a two-hour wait. In addition to the song playing on the ride, we also spotted a DJ outside the attraction playing Star Lord’s playlist. We even got to see Star Lord himself walking around and interacting with guests. DJ playing Star Lord’s Playlist In years past, this has always been a very popular day to visit EPCOT and ride this attraction, so these higher crowds are not surprising. The wait time remained high throughout the morning and, as of 1:30 PM, only dropped slightly to 125 minutes. So many people! In addition to all the entertainment, there is also a specialty drink for the celebrations called the Supernova Sip available for $6.49. This is a lemonade with spicy hot honey syrup, edible glitter, topped with cotton candy. You can also grab it with bourbon for $17. But we tried the nonalcoholic version. Supernova Sip This drink was very interesting and was an odd combination of both spicy and refreshing. The spice does not burn your lips but rather has a pleasant burn as you drink. It is not overpowering, but if you do not like spice, we would suggest avoiding this one. Supernova Sip The lemonade itself was not too sour and added a nice sweetness against the spice. The design of this drink is very cute, and the addition of the cotton candy and the edible glitter was a very fun touch. Cotton Candy! If you are spice-averse at all, you should probably skip this one, and we think it could be too spicy for kids. But if you love spice, are looking for something unique, and want to celebrate September 21st in style, this is a really fun drink! Keeping up with everything new happening at Disney World has basically become a full-time job at this point (that’s where we come in!) Hurly-Burly The parks are getting entirely new lands, major expansions are breaking ground, fresh rides are headed our way, and classic attractions are finally getting fixed up, so yeah, a lot is happening. But if we’re being honest, it’s the new restaurants that really get us excited. And right now, there is a lot of change at Disney’s BoardWalk. Let’s take a look. We’ve been tracking the construction process of Hurly-Burly, Disney World’s new lounge at Disney’s BoardWalk ahead of its official opening date on October 1st. As that is coming up soon, progress is coming along pretty quickly now. Recently, a new SIGN appeared along the top of the building’s entrance, letting the world know that this is Hurly-Burly. new Hurly-Burly sign Hurly-Burly will be a family-friendly space in the afternoons for activities like trivia and other games. However, at night, starting at 9 P.M., the space will become a 21-and-over venue with live music and “coastal-inspired cocktails.” We can see that coastal theme carried out on the exterior of the venue as well with the new shades of blue. New paint on the exterior The lounge is currently surrounded by planters and a guardrail, so we can only view the outside, but we are getting so excited for this new location to open in less than a month! Opening Oct 1st Hurly-Burly isn’t the only new restaurant coming to the Boardwalk! Disney confirmed that a brand-new quick-service restaurant is on the way to the BoardWalk, though details are being kept close to the chest for now. The official word is that more info is coming later this summer, and honestly, we think this is just what the Boardwalk needed — a solid counter-service option. New quick-service restaurant coming soon! While we don’t know the exact details, we can guess that it will be placed in the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works Restaurant. This is a big deal for resort guests who don’t always want a sit-down meal, and we’re very curious to see what Disney has in store. Right now, we just have construction walls up surrounding the former restaurant, but we are on the lookout for more information and updates! We can’t wait! A new shopping experience is coming to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, and it’s going to offer vintage charm. The new retail experience is called Basin on the BoardWalk, and it will be rooted in the resort’s classic boardwalk heritage. The store will offer a sensory shopping experience that is described as “both timeless and distinctly new.” Right now hedges are surrounding the doors and windows, but we are waiting on Disney to share more information on this location. One thing that we love about visiting Disney World so often is that we’ll often have an experience that’s unique from anything we’ve had before…and it happens all the time. From extra magic created by Cast Members to a fun interaction with a character, this is how Disney remains magical, even for those who go all the time. The Seas with Nemo and Friends Well, a NEW detail just popped up in EPCOT that made us smile, and we had to share it with you. Remember the sea urchins in EPCOT’s The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion? Well, sometimes Disney dresses them up, and now they’re dressed up to celebrate the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Seriously, though, just WAIT until you see them! So first, we need to explain something about sea urchins. Their natural behavior has them covering their bodies with materials they find in their environment. This “covering behavior” helps these animals thrive in harsh habitats. So, sea urchins wear “hats” in their normal environments, which means Disney is just using the sea urchins’ natural behaviors by dropping materials near them that they will eventually pick up and “wear.” Sea Urchin with Mickey hat Well, now the sea urchins are wearing hats to represent the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, so the little hats include things like cheese, baguettes, and even forks. We recently visited the SeaBase Aquarium to see for ourselves, and we saw urchins wearing a cheese wedge as a hat. It’s wearing CHEESE We also saw a sea urchin with a baguette on its head. WE…CAN’T…EVEN. Baguette This is just another way Disney creates extra magic by just counting on sea urchins to do what sea urchins do…wear hats. Disney World is going through some serious changes right now, all over the parks and beyond. Magic Kingdom Hollywood Studios will soon be home to Monstropolis, while Pueblo Esperanza is under construction at Animal Kingdom. And, over at Magic Kingdom, construction has begun on not one, but two new lands: Piston Peak and Villains Land. That’s not the only construction recently spotted at Magic Kingdom, though, as a mystery building has suddenly popped up backstage. A mystery building has started to pop up behind Magic Kingdom, leaving many wondering exactly what it will end up being. Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter, we’ve got an aerial view of the construction. According to @bioreconstruct, this new building might be an office building. It’s currently being built backstage, behind Adventureland, next to the service canal for the Electrical Water Pageant barges. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter Right now, it’s not exactly clear what the building will be used for, but if we had to guess, it will likely be either an office building or some sort of staging building for Cast Members. According to a commenter on X, it will be the new home for Entertainment, including costuming, parade operations, and more, though this has not been confirmed, so just keep that in mind. The site was previously used by Disney Performing Arts, so it may continue to be used for that once construction is complete. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter The building is also somewhat near the new Piston Peak and Villains Lands, so it’s possible that this new building will be used for something that has to do with those expansions. We love that on Disney+, you can watch all of your favorite Disney TV shows and movies all in one place! And we always get so excited whenever a new Disney movie finally makes its way from theaters onto streaming. ©Disney Which is why today we are diving into when all of the newest Disney movies will be making their Disney+ debut. On average, it takes around two to three months for Disney movies to start streaming on Disney+ after they premiere in theaters. That amount of time varies depending on the popularity of the movie and the box office success. Today, we are going to be going over some of the popular movies from this past year that are already on Disney+ and when others will be debuting. Starting with what is currently available to watch on Disney+. ©Disney Popular Movies From 2026 Available on Disney+ Zootopia 2 Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Hoppers The Devil Wears Prada 2 ©Disney Now, let’s look into what everyone is really curious about: when the rest of the movies released this year will be available on Disney+. Disney+ Streaming Dates for These Popular 2026 Movies Toy Story 5 — September 23rd, 2026 Live Action Moana — Late 2026. Disney has not provided an exact date, but we suspect it will be released on Disney+ sometime in October or November! ©Disney Now, there are many other highly anticipated movies set to release soon, especially Avengers: Doomsday, which will premiere in theaters on December 18th, 2026. Now, with a movie like this, it will most likely not follow the typical two- to three-month streaming rule. While many Marvel movies are released and do hit streaming within this window, Doomsday is the first full Avengers movie to be released since Avengers: Endgame back in 2019. ©Marvel And Endgame took over six months to arrive on Disney+. It is important to note that Avengers: Endgame did appear on Disney+ with the launch of the service in 2019. So, while we predict that Avengers: Doomsday will not hit Disney+ until several months after it premieres (most likely more than three months), it will probably not be a full six months. A more accurate comparison would be movies like Deadpool & Wolverine, Captain America: Brave New World, and Thunderbolts, which all took closer to four months to debut on Disney+.
