  2. If you’ve ever stood in line at Magic Kingdom with a rumbling stomach, wishing for something savory that you could eat while walking to your first ride, we have some very good news. A brand-new grab-and-go breakfast has arrived, and it might just be the best way to start your park day! Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Spring Rolls We stopped by to try the new breakfast spring rolls at Magic Kingdom, and they did NOT disappoint. Keep reading for our full taste test, plus everything you need to know about where to find them, what they cost, and whether they’re worth adding to your breakfast plans! Over near the entrance to Adventureland, you’ll find a pretty popular little cart — the Spring Roll Cart. This spot is home to our beloved Cheeseburger and Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls, but it just recently started serving breakfast spring rolls, too! The new Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Spring Rolls are served with a side of salsa for dipping for $9.79. So, are they worth a stop for a quick breakfast?! Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Spring Rolls Finally, a good grab-and-go savory breakfast at Magic Kingdom. The egg rolls are super crispy and filled with fluffy eggs, cheese, and big chunks of bacon you can actually taste. We were surprised by how much egg is inside, and there’s just the right amount of cheese to make them creamy without overpowering. LOTS of filling The salsa that comes with them has just enough spice to heighten the flavors and add a little acid. It’s chunky, with visible pieces of pepper and tomato, and we enjoyed every bite with a little salsa. The serving is generous, so we weren’t left without salsa for the last bites. It’s mild, borderline medium, so most people should enjoy it, even if you’re spice-averse. Our only complaint is the price — for $10, these are little more than a snack, especially if you’re sharing. Still, despite the price, we love our Magic Kingdom Spring Rolls, so we’ll definitely be coming back for these. We liked the salsa, too! We’ll be on the lookout for even more new snacks you need to try in Magic Kingdom and beyond. 4. Nobody is safe from the Disney World price increases… EPCOT From tickets to dining to experiences, we’ve seen a ton of price increases at Disney World over the past few days. We have another price update for you, only this change is a little different than the rest! EPCOT is known for its dining! After all, we are in the middle of the Food and Wine Festival. There are a lot of places that we love to go to, and one of them is the Spaceship Earth lounge, GEO-82. The lounge offers delicious appetizers, unique drinks, and even a fireworks experience for Luminous: The Symphony of Us. Disney just announced a price change for the popular lounge, and it’s going to change how you book your reservation. Welcome to GEO-82 You can enjoy GEO-82 at any time of the day from 11 AM to 9 PM. However, one of the best times to go is during the fireworks. The GEO-82 Fireworks Experience is a special ticketed offering where you can enjoy a stunning view of Luminous: The Symphony of Us from a private table next to the window at GEO-82, with the music for the production piped into the lounge. Luminous as seen from GEO-82 There used to be a fixed price of $179 for the experience, but Disney has announced that the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience at EPCOT will now be using date-based pricing. Tickets range from $179 to $194 per person, depending on the day that you go. This price change will now impact how you go about making your reservations for this experience. Those popular nights are going to get pricier, especially if you’re going with a big party. Luminous as seen from GEO-82 The fireworks experience is exclusive to guests 21 and older. There’s more that comes with your ticket outside of just a gorgeous fireworks view. The experience also includes: A sommelier-selected champagne (or event-exclusive cocktails, if preferred) A “tasting tower” of savory bites before the fireworks An assortment of sweets during the fireworks Dessert plate You need to check into the lounge 60 minutes before the evening’s fireworks show. Luminous typically begins at 9 PM, but fireworks may start later during peak crowd seasons, such as the holidays, or throughout the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. You’ll want to check the start time when making the reservation. Geo-82 On the fence about this experience? Did you book it already and want to know what to expect? Deciding between a regular reservation or fireworks? Take a deep breath because we’ve got you covered. See our full thoughts on GEO-82 below! “It’s the Cinderella’s Royal Table of EPCOT.” We Found a New Secret Dining Experience in Disney World, but It’s NOT Cheap It’ll be interesting to see if the price change impacts how many people book certain days. Will the lower-priced dates see even more people at GEO-82? Will the more expensive dates have fewer people at GEO-82? Only time will tell. We’re here to update you on all the latest Disney news, so make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog. 6. We’ve been covering Disney news for a long time, and we thought we’d seen it all. Then someone at Disney World said, “Hold my churro.” Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros Our tale today takes us to EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, which is home to a seriously underrated ride: Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. Now, we love this ride. It’s air-conditioned, it’s a great place to cool off, and it has some of the best background music in World Showcase. But even we, with all our Disney obsession, have never once looked at that river and thought, “You know what this needs? Me.” Once again, this is why we can’t have nice things at Disney World. Dear Disney World parkgoers, why must you be the way that you are? Don’t get us wrong, this certainly isn’t the majority of the people who go to the parks, but every once in a while, someone does something that just makes us scratch our heads and really reconsider the whole “human race” thing. Recently, posts started coming out on social media that showed a video of what appears to be a man diving into the water on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. You can see the video below, which was posted by Michelin-starred Chef Michael Collantes. According to Chef Mike’s post, this was the second “kid” — though he looks like an adult to us — to jump into the water on this ride. He also said that he thought security would be waiting for them when they got off the ride, but he didn’t see anything. Other comments on the post claimed that security caught up with them later and escorted them out of the park, though. However, a representative for Walt Disney World Resort said in a statement to PEOPLE, “This behavior was unsafe and a clear violation of our park rules. The guest and his party were trespassed.” Fiesta Hoy! Needless to say, this is a very, very, very dumb thing to do. Not only will you get caught — Disney has cameras everywhere and they know what you’re doing — and security will likely trespass and ban you from Disney World for good, but the water on these rides isn’t that deep. Diving straight into the water like this dude did could have ended with at best a concussion or worse, a traumatic brain injury. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time someone has gotten up to shenanigans that make us seriously question their critical thinking skills, either. Donald will be disappointed in you Recently, a guest fell down the 50-foot-drop on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure after exiting the ride vehicle right before the drop, and in the past, we’ve seen people try to climb the Mexico pyramid as well. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Not only that, but one time, on Living with the Land, someone was so determined to grab a fresh cucumber that they literally jumped out of the ride vehicle mid-ride. They got in trouble immediately, and now, they will not be living with the land ever again. We’re not sure what causes people to behave this way at Disney World — maybe it’s intoxication, sheer hubris, or the fact that people feel entitled to do whatever they want when they’re paying to be there. In any case, we certainly don’t condone it — so think before you act, people! A cucumber grown on the ride! We’ll be on the lookout for even more shenanigans taking place in Disney World — though we hope we don’t have to report many more in the future. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news, and check out even more bizarre things that have happened at Disney World in our video below! 7. My Disney World park bag has a pretty predictable lineup: sunscreen, a portable charger, a refillable water bottle, and a few emergency snacks (obviously). Our Disney bag is full of essentials! But after countless park days and years of learning the hard way, I’ve added one thing to my park bag that I now recommend to my family and friends, and now you too. It might sound a little odd, but I promise, after my fair share of park days in 100-degree temperatures, this is the one thing that will make your day better, DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Deodorant was never part of that list. But after one too many sticky, humid afternoons when I felt completely wilted by 2 PM, I started tossing in a cooling body mist, and it’s seriously changed how I get through hot days in the parks. Now it’s one of the first things I pack, and I’m a little shocked at how much of a difference it makes. Get this spray here on Amazon! ©Amazon The product is the Secret Cooling Aluminum Free Whole Body Deodorant Mist in Invigorating Mint. It’s a 5.2 fl oz spray designed for use all over the body, not just your underarms, and it promises 24-hour odor protection along with instant cooling relief. It’s aluminum-free and pH-balanced, and the formula is meant to soothe and revitalize skin. Secret claims it can lower your skin temperature by 10 degrees. I can tell you that even on days when I’m out in direct sun, stopping for a quick spritz leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to keep going, even when there’s zero shade in sight. ©Amazon What I love most is how light it feels. It doesn’t leave a heavy or sticky residue on my skin, which is the last thing you want when you’re already sweating through a humid Florida afternoon. The mint scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering, and it layers well with my regular deodorant without the two scents clashing. I usually spray it on my neck, wrists, and legs, which are the spots where a little cooling goes a long way when I’m waiting in a long queue or walking between lands. ©Amazon It’s become my favorite midday reset. Whether I’m ducking into a shady spot near a snack cart or taking a quick break on a bench before my next ride, a few sprays help me feel cool, fresh, and a lot less frazzled. If you’re heading to Disney World during the warmer months (which, let’s be honest, is most of the year), this little bottle earns its spot in your park bag. view ON AMAZON We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! 8. Disneyland Resort recently welcomed 101-year-old Congressional Medal of Honor recipient and retired U.S. Navy Capt. E. Royce Williams to The Happiest Place on Earth, honoring his remarkable courage and service as part of Disney’s enduring respect for U.S. service members, veterans, and their families. Williams is the oldest living Medal of Honor recipient from the Korean War. History Written in the Skies Capt. Williams joined the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator in 1943, serving in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. On Nov. 18, 1952, during the Korean War, he was flying from the USS Oriskany when seven Soviet MiG-15 fighter jets appeared, leading to what became the longest dogfight in U.S. military history—a mission that remained classified for more than 50 years. Over his career, he flew more than 220 combat missions and received the Medal of Honor, Silver Star and Navy Cross for his valor, devotion to duty and extraordinary service in the skies. Photo from Royce’s time in the U.S. Navy and aboard his aircraft the Navy F9F-2 Panther in 1952 (Photo courtesy of Royce Williams). (Official U.S. Navy Photograph). “You know you’re at war and your number one job is not protecting yourself it’s accomplishing a mission,” said Medal of Honor recipient and retired U.S. Navy Captain E. Royce Williams. Photo courtesy of Royce Williams. Honoring a Living Legend at Disneyland Resort Disneyland Resort cast members welcomed Captain Williams, his close friends, and fellow retired military aviators for a day of Disney magic. Together, they visited Sleeping Beauty Castle where he was named an Honorary Citizen of Disneyland—a rare and distinguished honor by Disneyland Ambassador Michele Mary in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland park. Being named an official Citizen of Disneyland was especially meaningful for Captain Williams and he shared that Walt Disney was his hero during World War II for the efforts put forth in his animation and artwork supporting the troops. As the warm late-afternoon light filled Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., guests gathered around the flagpole for a special Flag Retreat ceremony honoring Royce. A beloved Disneyland tradition since the park’s earliest days, the daily ceremony is a meaningful tribute to service, sacrifice, and patriotism. On this day, that tradition carried even greater significance as Disney cast members, the Disneyland Band, and the Dapper Dans helped recognize Royce’s extraordinary legacy and lifetime of service to our nation. Through music, ceremony, and heartfelt appreciation, Disneyland paid tribute to an American hero whose courage, devotion, and sacrifice continue to inspire generations. “This year has been very special for Royce; he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in February, and today Disney is honoring him during the Flag Retreat Ceremony,” said fellow retired U.S. Navy Capt. Paul Tanaka, a friend of Royce Williams. “Disney has shown their profound respect and commitment towards honoring service members, and I’m grateful they have chosen to honor Royce today. I know this is a special moment he will forever cherish.” After the Flag Retreat, Royce was treated to a flight on Soarin’ Across America at Disney California Adventure park. Since the original attraction debuted in 2001, its queue has paid tribute to California and the Golden State’s rich aviation history. For Royce, the experience offered a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the legacy of American aviation while enjoying a touch of Disney magic. Disney’s Profound Commitment of Honoring U.S. Military Service The Walt Disney Company’s tradition of honoring military service dates back more than a century, beginning with founders Walt and Roy O. Disney’s service to country during World War I. Today, that commitment continues through daily Flag Retreat ceremonies at Disneyland, special ticket offers for service members, and eligible veterans, and more. Throughout 2026, Disneyland Resort has offered specially priced promotional theme park tickets for active and retired U.S. Military members and their spouses. Offers are valid through a U.S. Military base ticket office, and eligible service members/veterans can purchase via GOVX.com with a valid Military ID. But if you want to stay at the newest hotel, how much is it going to cost you? Let’s break it down. Resort Studio Starting out with the Resort Studios, there are a few different types in this category. You can get a Resort Studio either with two queen beds or with one king bed. Both room types come in either resort view or preferred view, and the 2-queen rooms can also be reserved in a “no balcony” style. Those “no balcony” two queen bed rooms are the cheapest of the bunch and these are the rates for the first week that the resort is open: July 1st — $603 July 2nd — $630 July 3rd — $630 July 4th — $551 July 5th — $551 July 6th — $551 July 7th — $551 ©Disney Looking to take a trip later in the year? At this time, some Preferred View rooms are still available for the first week the hotel is open, and these are the rates: July 1st — $745 July 2nd — $778 July 3rd — $778 July 4th — $680 July 5th — $680 July 6th — $680 July 7th — $680 ©Disney For the same room in September, here’s what you would pay: September 12th — $726 September 13th — $726 September 14th — $726 September 15th — $726 September 16th — $751 September 17th — $800 September 18th — $800 ©Disney Finally, we’ve got the nights of December 24th-27th, which would cost you $1201 per night. Villas When it comes to large room spaces, you’ll want to book a villa! The villas come in 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom sizes. The 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas have Resort, Preferred, or Premium Views, and the 3-bedroom villas come exclusively in Premium Views. Based on what’s available still for the first week, here are the rates for a 2-Bedroom Preferred View Villa: July 1st — $1881 July 2nd — $1965 July 3rd — $1965 July 4th — $1719 July 5th — $1719 July 6th — $1719 July 7th — $1719 ©Disney Let’s look at the rates for the same room in September: September 12th — $1834 September 13th — $1834 September 14th — $1834 September 15th — $1834 September 16th — $1896 September 17th — $2021 September 18th — $2021 ©Disney If you stayed in a 2-Bedroom Preferred Villa from December 24th-27th, 2027, it would cost you $3035 a night. Duo Studios Traveling solo or with one other person? A Duo Studio might be right for you! These rooms sleep two adults in a pull-down queen bed and they all have either views of the pool or a partial view of Bay Lake. The Duo Studios are already mostly booked for the first week that the resort opens, but you can get one of these for $512 on the evening of July 5th. ©Disney It seems the Duo Studios are rather popular, because they’re already filling up for September 2027 as well! From September 12th-14th, 2027, these are $547 per night. Keep in mind that these prices do not include tax. ©Disney Like the others, let’s look at December 24th-27th, 2027. For those nights, these rooms cost $905 per night, which is a pretty hefty price to pay for one of the smallest hotel rooms in Disney World. Lake House And finally, the most unique option at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge are the Lake Houses! You can book either a 1-Bedroom Lake House or a 2-Bedroom Lake House, and they’re booking FAST for the first week that the resort is open. On the evening of July 6th, the 1-Bedroom is $2353 and the 2-Bedroom is $2942. ©Disney On the nights of September 12th-14th, 2027, you’ll pay $2511 a night for the 1-Bedroom Lake Houses and $3139 for the 2-Bedroom Lake Houses. These are a SPLURGE, folks! ©Disney For the dates of December 24th through December 27th, it would cost $4156 a night for a 1-Bedroom and $5195 a night for a 2-Bedroom Lake House. That’s a whopping budget! ©Disney So it looks like you’ll have to budget a LOT if you’re planning to visit during the holiday season, but if you’re just staying at Lakeshore Lodge during the other months of the year, it’s pretty in line with some of Disney World’s other Deluxe Resorts. 10. The Disney Believe is the newest ship coming to the Disney Cruise Line fleet and will be the cruise line’s ninth ship and the fourth ship in the Wish Class. We have been getting a ton of details and announcements from Disney, and we’re not done sharing it all with you just yet. ©Disney The Disney Believe will be setting sail for the first time on December 18th, 2027, and there is so much to look forward to with the cruise ship. One thing we can’t stop thinking about is the gorgeous staterooms and suites, and all of the different styles and themes. Disney had a lot to share, and we’re passing everything we know on to you! Royal Suites Royal Reef Suite The Disney Believe will have TWO new royal suites. One is the Royal Reef Suite, which is themed after Disney Animation’s The Little Mermaid. You can see nods and details to the movie all around the room. Can you spot the picture of King Triton’s castle? ©Disney The primary bathroom has a ton of space for families, and we love the colors! ©Disney The primary bedroom is stunning as well. The headboard looks like a seashell almost, and the overhead light has a cool design. We also see another picture on the wall from the classic film. ©Disney Royal Rose Suite The other of the two suites is the Royal Rose Suite, inspired by, you guessed it, Disney Animation’s Beauty and the Beast. Can you see the pictures of Belle walking around town on the wall? How about the overhead light, which looks to be designed like a bunch of gold roses. ©Disney We got a look at the Royal Rose Suite living room, and it looks unbelievable. We love all of the photos on the wall, and that spiral staircase is just catching our eye. ©Disney The primary bathroom has an elegance to it that simply matches the iconic Disney Princess. ©Disney The same can be said about the primary bedroom! ©Disney Staterooms Solarium Stateroom The staterooms are inspired by some of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved characters and stories. The Solarium Stateroom is themed with the playful spirit of Disney Pixar’s Toy Story. ©Disney There are a ton of fun Toy Story-themed pictures on the walls, and the room offers a gorgeous ocean view. ©Disney Concierge room The same can be said about the Concierge room! If you are staying in concierge, you can enjoy a stay in Neverland with theming inspired by the Disney Animation classic Peter Pan. ©Disney You’ll find nods to the classic film in places around the stateroom. Disney gave us a look into the bathroom, and there was a giant photo of Neverland by the bath. ©Disney The room’s most eye-catching detail is probably the big picture above the bed’s headboard of Peter Pan flying with Wendy, John, and Michael through the London night sky. ©Disney Verandah Stateroom The Verandah Stateroom is themed after Disney’s Moana, and EVERYONE loves Moana! ©Disney Just look at that stunning piece of artwork above the bed! Disney gave us a cool look at the room during the day… ©Disney …and during the night. ©Disney Inside Stateroom We got a look at the smaller Inside Stateroom, and this one is also themed after Moana. ©Disney Oceanview Stateroom Disney also shared a look at a Moana-themed Oceanview Stateroom. ©Disney While we saw staterooms themed after Moana, Peter Pan, and Toy Story, there will also be rooms themed after Coco and Inside Out. Disney also noted that the staterooms on the Disney Believe will be “spacious, comfortable and functional, uniquely meeting the needs of families.” All staterooms will feature “ample storage, with most also having the signature split-bath concept, roomy closets and elevated bed frames with generous under-bed space.” Most staterooms will have a stunning view of the ocean, with “70 percent including a spacious verandah and more than 450 connecting doors to accommodate larger families.” ©Disney Believe Tower Suite You’re going to be thrilled to hear about the Believe Tower Suite, which is EXCLUSIVE to the Disney Believe. This is a one-of-a-kind suite that sleeps eight and draws inspiration from “the timeless world of fantasy, promise and possibility that is Magic Kingdom Park.” That’s right, this suite is themed after Magic Kingdom! ©Disney Each of the suite’s rooms is modeled after the different themed lands at Magic Kingdom. The two-story suite will be situated in the forward funnel and will feature unique elements hinting at the park we know and love, including light fixtures inspired by fireworks and balloons, as well as a magical art piece depicting Cinderella Castle. ©Disney The agents at Small World Vacations know how to save money on your Disney Vacation! 11. Don’t be scared — we promise these monsters are friendly! Disney’s Hollywood Studios will soon be home to the lovable monsters from Monsters. Inc.! Humans can visit Monstropolis soon, as the land will open in phases starting in 2027. ©Disney Disney previously shared that this new land will be home to multiple eateries, including the iconic Harryhausen’s from the original movie, along with Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, but we didn’t have many more details — until now. Disney recently shared a first look at the food coming to these eateries, and let’s just say, the internet had a LOT to say about it! In a shocking turn of events, most of the feedback about this first look at Monstropolis food was actually pretty positive. Disney Adults can be a passionate bunch, and that often means strong opinions about every single new announcement Disney makes. As it turns out, though, people seem pretty darn excited about the food coming to Harryhausen’s and Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza! ©Disney One person on Instagram said, “Not only do I love sushi, but the fun RAMEN looks like it will be soooooo good and creative!!!!!!! ,” and another said, “Omg this looks AMAZING!! Catch me rope dropping all this food.” Others agreed, saying, “Amazing job, team,” and “Can’t wait to try the Blort!!!” Another comment said, “Ramen in Hollywood Studios??? YES PLEASE,” while one person said, “The Harryhausen’s references are exactly the kind of detail that makes a land feel like stepping into the movie.” It definitely seems like people are excited about this land, and now, they’re even more excited about the food! ©Disney Of course, there were some negative comments as well. One person said, “Menu looks mid if that’s the whole menu,” while another said, “More trash food.” Pretty strong opinions! Others lamented that Harryhausen’s doesn’t appear to be a true sushi restaurant like the namesake from the movie, though it’s possible that there still could be sushi on the menu, since the full list hasn’t been revealed yet. One comment said, “…that food does not look appealing at all. It looks bland just from a photo.” Harryhausen’s Concept Art Disney shared that these restaurants will feature “grossly fun” food: familiar flavors reimagined with monster-inspired twists. At Harryhausen’s, some of the menu items the team is exploring include ramen bowls inspired by traditional Japanese flavors, but with “monster-sized personality.” The dishes will feature familiar, classic ingredients like rich tonkotsu broth and alkaline ramen noodles, plus others with monster twists like fishcake sliced to look like eyeballs and green eggs! ©Disney Over at Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, the vibes are all about Monsters University, and this quick-service restaurant will feel like a beloved pizza spot where generations of monster college students gathered with friends after class. Not only that, but a staple from the franchise will make its debut at this spot: Blort. Blort is one of the most popular soft drinks in all of Monstropolis, but this will be the first time any human has ever tasted it! Expect to see something like a purple frozen spin on the soda topped with a Scream Apple Foam that’s so tasty, it’s scary. Welcome to Monstropolis We’ll be on the lookout for even more updates from Monstropolis at Disney World. 14. Disney’s preparing to launch a NEW cruise ship, and you guys are not going to BELIEVE what they have on board! (Yes, pun totally intended.) ©Disney The Disney Believe is setting sail on December 18th, 2027, and we’re getting a sneak peek at all that the ship has to offer. We’ve got new themed staterooms, new live entertainment, new activities, and of course…new dining options! These are ALL the dining options that have been announced for the Disney Believe so far. Rotational Dining Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast Starting our list, we have the three rotational dining restaurants where guests will dine each evening. The first of these is Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, and yes, it’s Frozen-themed! Disney says this will be a traditional Sommerhus courtyard tucked away in the enchanted forest. ©Disney Throughout your meal, you’ll get live performances by Frozen characters, and we learned during the Disney Believe media event that the songs will lean into humor as remixes of the tunes you know and love. The meal offered here will be a “family-friendly feast inspired by Nordic flavors.” Worlds of Marvel A restaurant that we’ve seen on other ships is back again! Worlds of Marvel on the Disney Believe will feature Baby Groot this go around. Disney says, “When his best friend Rocket Raccoon starts to feel a little left out, our twiggy emcee takes matters into his own hands with a rockin’ and rollin’ meal featuring hits from the Awesome Mix tapes from the Guardians of the Galaxy films.” ©Disney While listening to the exciting soundtrack, you can enjoy an “out of this world menu fit for a hero.” See Our Review of Worlds of Marvel on the Disney Treasure! 1923 The third of the rotational dining spots is another one we’ve seen before in the Wish Class of ships, 1923! Here you can relive the golden age of animation inside a Hollywood glitz-themed space. The dining rooms honor Walt Disney and Roy Disney, and there will be more than 1,000 drawings, props, and artifacts from Disney Animated films. ©Disney The menu is made up of fresh, California-inspired cuisine. Check Out Our Review of 1923 on the Disney Treasure Here! Walk-Up Spots Joyful Sweets In the mood for something sweet? Head to Joyful Sweets, the Inside Out-inspired shop where you’ll be able to order 20 different flavors of handmade gelato. They’ll also serve cupcakes, macarons, cupcakes, and other confections. ©Disney This space will be bright and colorful, with nods to the emotions of Riley’s mind, including Anxiety and Envy. Unlike the rotational dining, these sweet shops on the ships are typically an extra paid cost (the same goes for the coffee shops). Marceline Market Every cruise ship needs its classic buffet spot! At Marceline Market, there will be ten different food stations with all kinds of international cuisine. They’ll be open for breakfast and lunch each day. ©Disney This will be your go-to spot for classics like chicken tenders, salads, and even plant-based eats. There will also be a cafe inside where you can order specialty beverages. Big Hero Sips If you’re in need of a caffeine fix during your vacation, look no further than the two walk-up cafes onboard the Disney Believe. Here, you’ll be able to order coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and snacks throughout the day. Disney Believe coffee Big Hero Sips will be located on Deck 5 and will be themed to Big Hero 6. Café Kakamora When you’re on Deck 6, you can stop by Café Kakamora, themed to Moana and Moana 2. Disney says that here you’ll be able to “recharge amid the island charm of Montunui.” Let’s go! Like the sweets shop, the drinks here are usually an extra charge, so make sure to budget for coffee if you’re interested in stopping by either of these cafes during your cruise. Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods Need something to eat while you’re sitting poolside? Head to Mickey’s Festival of Foods! Here you’ll find everything from burgers to pizza to salads to soft-serve ice cream at a few different stations. ©Disney And new onboard the Disney Believe is Pluto’s Pita Platters where you can get shawarma wraps and Mediterranean bowls. Sounds delish! Lounges Sea Notes This stylish piano lounge takes you into Ariel’s undersea kingdom with themes inspired by The Little Mermaid. Here you can sip a cocktail while you unwind and enjoy live music! ©Disney Based on the concept art, the space looks like it will have some stunning lighting and detailing made to look like you’re tucked under the waves of the sea. Awesome! Wishing Well The next lounge on our list is themed to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, where you can enjoy live music and family activities. The menu has coffee, cocktails, mocktails, and spirits made to create a welcoming gathering space. ©Disney There are plenty of enchanting woodland touches, floral details, and castle-like touches. This looks like it’s going to be a popular spot during the daytime! Haunted Mansion Parlor One of the most popular Disney Cruise Line lounges is BACK on the Disney Believe! Haunted Mansion Parlor is designed to have lots of nods to the popular Disney parks attraction, but this version will have an all-new menu of craft cocktails. Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Destiny As you’re unwinding in this space, you’ll spot plenty of hidden details and special effects that will keep you entertained the whole night through. Be on the lookout for the happy haunts! Skygazers Disney says you can “settle in beneath a shimmering canopy of stars at this observatory-themed pub where dreamers and wish-makers gather.” What a cool theme! ©Disney The menu will include craft brews and specialty cocktails, and this will be your go-to spot to catch sports on TV. The Rose For a fancier lounge experience, head to The Rose, which is located near the upscale dining options. It’s the perfect spot for a pre- or post-dinner glass of wine or fancy cocktail. The Rose on the Disney Wish It’s inspired by the enchanted castle from Beauty and the Beast and the lounge is adults-only. Upscale Dining Palo Steakhouse Finally, let’s chat about the upscale dining options that are an added cost. Reservations are highly recommended if you want to dine here! Palo Steakhouse is back and it’s a great spot for an adults-only meal. Palo Steakhouse on Disney Treasure Here you’ll find a menu of fine Italian favorites. Brunch at Palo Steakhouse has become a Disney Cruise Line fan favorite as well! See Our Review of Palo Steakhouse Here! Enchanté For some delightful and indulgent French fare, make a reservation for Enchanté. The menu here is crafted by 3-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement. When we’ve dined here on other ships, this has been one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten! Enchanté on the Disney Treasure Like Palo, this spot can be popular, so we recommend making reservations as soon as they open for your party. See Our Review of Enchanté on the Disney Treasure Here! That’s a wrap on the list of dining for the Disney Believe. We’ll keep you in the loop as more offerings are announced. Stargazers — observatory-themed pub where “time stands still” Haunted Mansion Parlor — the popular lounge themed after the iconic Disney Parks attraction on the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. ©Disney Some of the restaurants you’ll be able to check out on the Disney Believe include: Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast — a NEW rotational restaurant where Oaken is setting the tables for a festive family reunion at his summer house. 1923 and Worlds of Marvel — two other rotational restaurants that can both be found on the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. ©Disney There will be a couple of other spots where you can grab a quick drink or a sweet treat! 16. Disney Adults, I’m going to hold your hand when I say this… You may be trying WAY too hard on your Disney World vacation. Monorail I know. You’ve got the spreadsheet, the color-coded itinerary, and a very specific understanding of how long it takes to get from Space Mountain to Pirates of the Caribbean. You’ve probably even wondered whether that 11:20 AM lunch reservation is going to make your 12:05 PM Lightning Lane more stressful than it needs to be. We get it because we are those people, too. But after enough Disney World trips, we’ve learned something we really wish someone had told us earlier… We REALLY wish someone had told us that being good at Disney World isn’t about squeezing in the most rides, meals, and character stops possible. It’s about doing enough homework before you arrive that you can actually relax once you’re there. That took us a while to learn, and there are a few other things we wish someone had explained before our first few trips. You Need a Plan. You Do NOT Need a Military Operation. We are enormous fans of planning around here. Obviously, we’ve built an entire business around Disney vacation planning! Some things are worth planning ahead for — the hard-to-get dining reservations, the snacks you don’t want to miss, and the rides your family will never let you forget if you somehow skip them. The trouble starts when being prepared turns into trying to account for every single minute of the day, right down to when everyone is allowed to take a bathroom break. Please DON’T do this. China Pick the things you absolutely cannot leave Disney World without doing. Maybe that’s riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Maybe it’s dinner at ‘Ohana. Maybe your entire vacation has been constructed around hugging Winnie the Pooh. Great, protect those things. Everything else gets some wiggle room. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Because one of the weird little secrets of Disney World is that some of your favorite memories probably won’t be the things you spent six months scheduling. They’ll be sitting on a bench with a snack while a parade passes. Wandering through your resort after dark. Catching a character interaction you weren’t expecting. Spending an extra 20 minutes in World Showcase because somebody found a margarita and nobody is particularly concerned about the next ride anymore. A vacation itinerary should give your trip some bones. It should not put the whole thing in a corset. Make the Important Dining Reservations Early Now, this does NOT mean we are throwing your planning binder into Seven Seas Lagoon. Some things genuinely do require forethought, and Disney dining is one of them. Popular reservations can disappear quickly. There is a specific kind of sadness in standing outside the restaurant you REALLY wanted to try, refreshing the My Disney Experience app, and discovering your options are… completely not available for the next six months and the walk-up waitlist is full. Look for this Walk-Up Waitlist sign! Do your restaurant research before the trip. Figure out which reservations are priorities. Know which meals deserve one of those precious vacation evenings and which places you’re perfectly happy skipping. THIS is exactly where our DFB Everything Bundle earns its keep. It includes our restaurant guides for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, the Disney World hotels, and more, along with our Disney Dining Plan guide, snack guides, and seasonal festival guides. The whole point is to answer those “Is this place actually worth my money?” questions BEFORE you’re hungry, tired, standing in EPCOT, and negotiating dinner with six people who all have six completely incompatible opinions. Do your research at home and make the important reservations in advance, so when you’re in the parks you can put your phone down. Please Budget for Snacks You are going to buy snacks. That’s non-negotiable. Is it even a Disney vacation if you aren’t noshing on something Mickey-shaped at some point? You can try to announce that everybody will eat one proper breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there will be NO frivolous spending in between. Then you’ll smell popcorn on Main Street, someone will spot a Mickey pretzel, EPCOT will release 14 festival foods you didn’t know existed yesterday, and your carefully constructed food budget will have sprung several tiny, delicious leaks. Mickey Pretzel We like budgeting snacks separately because it gives you permission to enjoy them without feeling like every Mickey bar is a small act of financial sabotage. And PLEASE research snacks before your trip. Disney World has a lot of them, and some deserve your stomach space more than others. That’s why the Everything Bundle includes dedicated snack guides for all four theme parks, plus guides to EPCOT’s major festivals, Halloween, and the holidays. Key Lime Pie Pop There is only so much room in your stomach; take that real estate seriously. Unless you just choose to only snack on the queen of all Disney snacks, the Key Lime Pie Pop (like me). If that’s your choice, you’ll get no shade from me. Some of Disney World’s Best Food Isn’t in a Theme Park Here is another rookie mistake we understand completely. You spend thousands of dollars going to Disney World, so naturally you assume you should spend every waking moment inside a Disney World theme park. Except some of our favorite meals aren’t there (Jiko, I’m looking at you). Jiko Disney’s resort hotels have fantastic restaurants. Disney Springs could consume several meals of your vacation without breaking a sweat. You could build an entire evening around hopping between resort lounges and never scan a park ticket once. And every once in a while, leaving the parks for dinner is exactly what everybody needs. Animal Kingdom Lodge There is a different rhythm outside the gates. You’re not inhaling your entrée because your next Lightning Lane window starts in 23 minutes. Nobody is staring over your shoulder wondering how long the standby wait has gotten. You’re just having dinner. Wild concept, we know. We LIVE for this bread service Our Everything Bundle includes an entire hotel restaurant guide specifically because ignoring Disney World resort dining means ignoring a huge chunk of Disney World’s food scene. Do yourself a favor and look beyond the four parks when you’re planning your meals. You might discover the restaurant you spend the rest of the year talking about. Your Resort Day Is Not a Day You “Lost” This one can be PAINFUL for Disney Adults. You paid for Disney World. You traveled to Disney World. Maybe you can even physically see Cinderella Castle from your hotel room. And we are suggesting you spend an afternoon…at the pool? Yes, yes, we are. Grand Floridian Pool Your feet are going to cover an absurd amount of ground during a Disney vacation. You’re waking up early and staying out late. You’re navigating heat, crowds, transportation, rides, restaurants, and trying to emotionally regulate your entire group’s expectations in a hyper-stimulating environment. So, we are giving you permission to give yourself some breathing room. Contemporary Lobby Sleep in a little. Grab breakfast without checking the wait times between bites. Spend a few hours at the pool, wander around your resort, or finally try that restaurant you usually rush past on the way somewhere else. Maybe you even sit in a lounge for an hour with absolutely nowhere you need to be next. That’s not wasting a Disney day. That’s actually being on vacation. An afternoon by the pool is exactly what everyone needs to reset before you tackle Magic Kingdom again tomorrow. Check the Calendar Before You Book Not all Disney World weeks are created equal. Weather, holidays, festivals, special events, school breaks, and park hours can all shape your trip in ways that aren’t obvious when you first pick your dates. Unfortunately, there is no secret week when the parks are empty, the weather is perfect, and hotel rooms are mysteriously half price. If that week ever appears, we’ll see you there. Crowds The goal is just to know what you’re walking into. If your trip overlaps with an EPCOT festival, you may want to set aside extra money for food booths. If a holiday party is happening during your stay, that could change your evening plans. And if you’re visiting during one of those stretches when Florida feels like it has been placed directly under a heat lamp, you may want to build more breaks into the afternoon. A little extra research before you book can save you from having to constantly rearrange your plans once you’re already there. Crowds at Hollywood Studios Our DFB Everything Bundle includes guides to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, Flower & Garden Festival, Festival of the Arts, Halloween, and the holidays, along with the core restaurant and snack guides. Instead of discovering halfway through your vacation that something enormous is happening three monorail stops away, you can know what’s coming before you arrive. We prefer our Disney surprises to involve characters and snacks, not logistics. Stop Looking at Your Phone for Five Minutes Here’s the part where I squeeze your hand a little tighter: at some point, you have to stop optimizing the trip. Disney World planning asks you to be on your phone a lot. You’re checking reservations, wait times, mobile orders, Lightning Lanes, maps, photos, and messages, and before long you realize you’ve spent a huge chunk of the day staring at a tiny digital version of the place you’re already standing in. ©Shutterstock So look up once in a while. Notice the details on Main Street, U.S.A. Listen to the background music in EPCOT. Watch your kid see the castle for the first time, or your spouse light up when their favorite character walks by. Enjoy the snack without immediately wondering whether you can squeeze in one more ride afterward. Sit down. Stay a little longer than you planned. Main Street, U.S.A. Put down your emotional support mobile device and commit to just being present in the moment. At least for a little while. You’ve spent all of this money to be in the “Most Magical Place on Earth”; it’d be a shame if you missed it all because you were on your phone. Plan Enough That You Can Actually Go on Vacation This may be the biggest lesson we wish somebody had told us years ago. The goal of Disney planning isn’t to create the perfect schedule. It’s to remove enough uncertainty that you have room to enjoy yourself. Figure out which restaurants are the biggest priority, which snacks are actually worth the splurge, and what festivals or special events will be happening while you’re there. Lock in the tough reservations, choose your true must-dos, and then resist the urge to fill every remaining hour. That’s one of the reasons we created the DFB Everything Bundle in the first place. Get your guide today! It combines our guides covering Disney World restaurants, hotel dining, snacks, the Disney Dining Plan, EPCOT festivals, Halloween, the holidays, and more into one giant planning resource. You can research everything before your vacation while you’re sitting comfortably on your couch instead of panic-Googling “BEST EPCOT RESTAURANT HELP” with 11% battery remaining. Cinderella Castle That preparation gives you something incredibly valuable once you arrive: permission to stop planning. Because you will never do everything at Disney World, you’re not supposed to. Pick the good stuff. Eat something ridiculous. Sit down occasionally. Change the plan when something better comes along. And every once in a while, put your phone in your pocket and remember where you are. 19. Since its introduction, Mobile Order has been a GAME-CHANGER for Disney dining! As we have said many times, the ability to order a meal at a popular park or hotel quick-service location right from the My Disney Experience app and pick up said order without waiting in a long line is a huge — and convenient — time-saver. However, Disney is often tweaking the system. Mobile Order Earlier this year, Disney tested a new Mobile Order rule during one of the resort’s busiest times that made a fundamental change to how it worked… and we have reason to think they might do it again soon. Earlier this year, around the 4th of July, the My Disney Experience app suddenly began restricting Mobile Ordering at certain popular hotel locations to only be available for guests who were physically close to the restaurant! If guests tried to Mobile Order while outside the restaurant, they received an error message that read “You’re too far away,” and a prompt to move closer to the restaurant to place a Mobile Order. Once they got closer, they were able to place a Mobile Order like normal. © Disney || Time to Eat! The list of affected restaurants at the time included: Gasparilla Island Grill at the Grand Floridian Resort Capt. Cook’s at the Polynesian Village Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge Beyond those four restaurants, Mobile Order functioned like normal around the rest of the resort, likely indicating that the change was a test to measure the viability of this kind of change during busy times. Gasparilla Island Grill So, why do we think this rule may return in some form soon? As we said, the rule was first introduced during the busy 4th of July period when the resort was quite crowded. Well, there’s no more crowded time at Disney World than the year-end holiday season, with the weeks around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s being the busiest of the year; it would make sense that Disney could try to tweak Mobile Ordering rules yet again. Contempo Cafe Whether Disney reintroduced the rule or not, you’ll still need a place to eat on your next vacation. We’ve been there – picking restaurants for Disney World can feel like a full-time job. Between the reviews, menus, and reservation strategies, it’s a lot to sort through. Our Guide to Disney World Dining pulls it all together so you can stop stressing and focus on the fun without feeling like you’re missing a thing! Aloha Pork Sandwich Will Disney bring this divisive Mobile Order rule back in time for the busy holiday season, if at all? Stay tuned to DFB for the answer! 20. If you’re visiting Florida soon, you should know that it’s hurricane season, and there’s a higher possibility of storms this time of year. Rainy day at Hollywood Studios ahead of Hurricane Milton The Atlantic area has been fairly quiet so far this hurricane season, until a system in the Gulf was upgraded to Hurricane Isaias on Wednesday, October 7th. Now, select parts of Florida are under a state of emergency. WESH 2 reports that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order putting 25 counties under a state of emergency as the result of Hurricane Isaias. The following counties are included: Baker, Bay, Calhoun, Columbia, Dixie, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Suwannee, Taylor, Walton, Wakulla, and Washington. ©WESH 2 “Today, I signed an Executive Order issuing a state of emergency ahead of potential impacts from Tropical Depression 9 (now Hurricane Isaias). This order will allow the Florida Division of Emergency Management to stage critical preparedness resources and ensure Florida is ready to respond,” DeSantis said in a statement. “Floridians should take this time to get disaster plans in place and ensure their hurricane supply kit is stocked.” ©The Weather Channel According to The Weather Channel, Hurricane Isaias is expected to become a Category 2 hurricane by Thursday night in the central Gulf. It’s projected to take a more northern path once it hits land. Parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida are currently under weather warnings. South Georgia may feel the effects of the storm as well. ©The Weather Channel We’ll be keeping a close eye on the projections for this storm and we’ll let you know if anything major changes. For now, it’s a good idea to prep your emergency kits and keep an eye on your local weather. 21. Every magical memory at Walt Disney World Resort starts with a Cast Member. When Dacia began caring for backstage offices as part of the overnight custodial team at Walt Disney World in the early 2000s, she wasn’t imagining a future in leadership. She was focused on learning her role, working hard and building a better future one day at a time. Twenty-three years later, she is an Area Manager with Holidays Services, helping lead teams that collaborate with Walt Disney Imagineering to bring seasonal magic to life across the resort. Her journey was shaped by her willingness to keep learning, leaders who saw potential she hadn’t yet recognized in herself, and a variety of development opportunities that helped her turn a job into a career. Over the years, she embraced new opportunities and expanded her expertise across multiple areas of the business. Her career journey included roles such as Craft Support Foreman, Decorator, and Planned Work Specialist, each providing valuable insights and a broader perspective of the operation. Every role helped build the skills and experience that prepared her for the next stage of her career. It Starts with a Name Tag Across Walt Disney World Resort, more than 80,000 Cast Members create happiness for millions of guests. But before Cast Members begin welcoming guests and creating magical experiences, they take part in Traditions, Disney’s onboarding experience. Through an introduction to the company’s history, culture, values and commitment to exceptional guest service, Traditions helps build a strong foundation for future growth and success. For Dacia, that introduction was only the beginning of a commitment to learning, which became one of the most important parts of her Disney story. “I never imagined I would get this far,” Dacia said. “Every opportunity helped me learn something new.” Saying Yes to New Opportunities Dacia’s path to Holiday Services began with what she believed would be a temporary opportunity. Curious about a different area of business and motivated by a desire to keep learning, she decided to take a chance on something new. “I’ve always liked challenges,” she said. “That’s where the magic happens.” What began as a temporary assignment ultimately became a new career path. Along the way, mentors and leaders encouraged her to see new possibilities. “Sometimes other people see something in you before you see it yourself,” she reflected. Today, Dacia is paying that lesson forward, and one of the most rewarding parts of her role has become helping other Cast Members see that same potential in themselves. She helps them build new skills, pursue new opportunities and recognize their own career possibilities. “There’s a lot of talent here,” Dacia said. “I love seeing people grow.” Learning Every Step of the Way Like Dacia, approximately three out of five Walt Disney World leaders began their careers in hourly roles. It’s their commitment to growth that can make all the difference. From operational training and safety programs to Disney University for courses and leadership development opportunities, she has continuously expanded her knowledge, preparing herself for the next step along her career journey. What began as an overnight custodial role became a 23-year journey filled with new experiences, new opportunities and a passion for helping others succeed. The Magic Starts with Cast Members When asked what advice she would give someone considering a new opportunity, Dacia’s answer is simple: “Be the best you can be wherever you are today.” As Walt Disney World continues to grow, one thing remains unchanged: the magic will always begin with the talented Cast Members who bring it to life every day. Most staterooms on the ship will likely sleep three to four. Our room on the Disney Wish! The Tower Suite was just confirmed to be themed to Magic Kingdom! The main space draws inspiration from Main Street U.S.A. ©Disney There will also be rooms and spaces in the Suite themed to the different lands in the park, such as Frontierland and Adventureland! ©Disney When you step onto the Disney Believe, you’ll be welcomed into the Grand Hall and greeted by a shining bronze statue of Moana and her companions, Pua and Hei Hei. Disney shared that the Grand Hall will be infused with the optimistic spirit of exploration from the Moana films and that Imagineers turned to artisanal Polynesian finishes that honor the South Pacific’s cultural traditions. The guardrails around the statue feature a floral pattern straight from Moana’s dress, the stair rails have a triangular pattern, and the second-story railings have an ocean wave pattern, all in a natural brown color. We can also see that the carpet flooring is a blue design reminiscent of the ocean. ©Disney We also just found out that we can expect to find a new version of the Tangled show as well as the first-ever Broadway-style Encanto show, which we are already thrilled to check out. ©Disney We know we will be booking our trips as soon as booking opens in just a few days on October 19th!
