The DFB team is in the Disney World parks every day, and we know how to spot an expert! Ear Holder There’s a certain look you start to notice in the parks after a few trips — it’s not a matching family tee or a costume. Instead, it’s a very specific combination of gear that quietly says “I’ve done this before.” Spot someone strolling down Main Street U.S.A. wearing all the right pieces, and you’re looking at a bona fide Disney World veteran. Here’s exactly what that expert-level outfit looks like, piece by piece, and where to snag each item for yourself. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. 1. Comfortable Shoes ©Amazon It all starts with the shoes, and if yours are the New Balance Women’s Fresh Foam X 880v15 Running Shoe, we already know you’ve either done your research or learned the hard way on a previous trip. Disney days regularly rack up 15,000+ steps on pavement that holds heat like a skillet, and a shoe built for actual mileage makes the difference between “let’s ride one more thing” and “I need to sit down immediately.” The Fresh Foam cushioning is the kind of detail rookies overlook, and experts build their whole day around. view ON AMAZON 2. Wicking Fabrics ©Amazon Next, the shirt — and true park insiders have long since ditched cotton tees for something like the Quenteen Women’s Short Sleeve Workout Shirt. Florida humidity doesn’t care about your outfit plans, and a moisture-wicking, breathable top means you’re not hauling around a sweat-soaked shirt by 11 a.m. It’s a small swap that makes a genuinely huge difference on a 95-degree day in the Magic Kingdom. view ON AMAZON 3. Shorts That Don’t Move ©Amazon Underneath it all, experts know the real secret to a chafe-free day of walking is a solid base layer, and the wirarpa Women’s Cotton Shorts (4 Pack) is the unsung hero here. Anti-chafing, soft, and designed to actually stay put through hours of walking and ride transfers, these are the kind of practical purchase nobody talks about, but everyone with sore thighs wishes they’d made sooner. view ON AMAZON 4. An Ear Hanger Our Eybila Ear Holder! For the ears you’re not currently wearing, clip on the Eybila 2Pcs Mouse Ear Holder for Backpack — a personal favorite we actually own and use. Instead of shoving your extra ears into your bag where they get crushed, this little clip keeps them displayed and protected on the outside, ready for the next photo op or costume change. view ON AMAZON 5. A Good Hat ©Amazon Sun protection is non-negotiable for a full park day, and the Disney Mickey Mouse Dad Hat checks every box: shade for your face, a curved brim that won’t look weird in photos, and just enough Disney flair to fit right in without trying too hard. It’s the hat you’ll see on repeat once you start paying attention because it can go with any outfit. view ON AMAZON 6. Reusable Poncho Frogg Toggs Poncho When the inevitable Florida afternoon storm rolls through, seasoned visitors are not scrambling for the flimsy plastic poncho from the gift shop. They already have the FROGG TOGGS Ultra-lite2 Waterproof Rain Poncho tucked in their bag. It’s breathable, genuinely reusable, and packs down small enough that there’s no excuse not to carry it every single day, rain in the forecast or not. view ON AMAZON 7. A Good Bag ©Amazon The Loungefly Disney Mickey Ears Sling Bag is the pick if you want something compact and unmistakably on-theme. It’s made from nylon with an appliqued pair of Mickey ears front and center, and the two sides each carry their own little detail — an embroidered Mickey silhouette on one, an appliqued version of his white glove on the other. A detachable coin pouch tucks inside for loose change or a hair tie. The hardware is gold-toned, and the strap is both adjustable and detachable, so it’s small enough to stay out of your way. view ON AMAZON ©Amazon The Loungefly Disney Minnie Mouse Black Sequin Double Strap Shoulder Bag is the move if you’re dressing up for a special day in the parks. The whole exterior is covered in black sequins, with Minnie’s ears and signature bow worked into the design, and it’s finished with a front zip pocket, adjustable straps, and a top carry handle for when you want to switch it up from crossbody to hand-carried. It runs compact while having plenty of room for a phone, ID, and MagicBand, not much more. view ON AMAZON ©Amzon And the BAGGU Medium Nylon Crescent Bag is for the minimalists. It’s a half-moon-shaped bag made from recycled heavyweight nylon with a ripstop nylon lining, so it’s sturdy but still lightweight on a long park day, and it holds noticeably more than it looks like it should — two interior zip pockets and an internal key leash keep the small stuff from disappearing into the bottom. The strap is long and adjustable enough to wear crossbody or over one shoulder. It’s machine washable, and the clean, no-logo look means it’s easy to wipe down. view ON AMAZON 8. Good Socks Disney Socks! And finally, don’t sleep on the socks — a pair from the Cartoon Character Series Licensed Socks Collection, which we also own and swear by, stays put inside your shoes instead of bunching up around mile eight. Slipping socks are a fast track to blisters, and a pair that actually holds its position is one of those tiny upgrades that makes a huge difference by the end of a long park day. view ON AMAZON We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! When it comes to changes to Disney World’s oldest attractions, fans tend to react… badly, and have been for decades. Tomorrowland Speedway Which arguably makes it all the more surprising that there’s a Magic Kingdom opening day attraction that many fans are desperate to see changed, if not outright removed: The Tomorrowland Speedway. Like many Disney rides, the story of the Tomorrowland Speedway begins 3,000 miles from Disney World in Anaheim, California. When the “Happiest Place on Earth” opened on July 17th, 1955, Autopia was among its opening day attractions, and one of its most popular. At the time, the U.S. Interstate Highway System didn’t exist in its current form, so the Autopia track was truly a vision of the future, making it appropriate for the park’s Tomorrowland. This, along with the Bob Gurr-designed cars that gave everyone the feeling of “driving”, made the ride a favorite of many during its early years. Autopia Given that popularity, it’s unsurprising that the ride was ported over to the Magic Kingdom when Disney World opened in 1971. Initially dubbed the Grand Prix Speedway (there were several name changes and sponsorships until the current Tomorrowland Speedway name came into use in the early 2000s), the ride was built on the border between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. Just like its Disneyland counterpart, the ride was quite popular initially. Tomorrowland Speedway So, why do so many fans want to see the Speedway closed or drastically changed these days? Well, there are several reasons. For starters, the ride takes up a huge chunk of real estate in a heavily trafficked area of the park. As mentioned above, it’s right on the border between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and sits just in front of both TRON Lightcycle / Run and Space Mountain, and many fans feel that that space could be better utilized. Plus, the theme of driving on a highway that was quite literally futuristic in 1955 and still somewhat novel in 1971 is commonplace at best — and at worst something guests want to escape while on vacation — in 2026. Then there’s the issue of the smell. Tomorrowland Speedway The Tomorrowland Speedway (and Autopia), for that matter, have also long been dinged for the effect their gas-powered ride vehicles have on the park’s environment, both in the larger sense of environmental damage and in the more immediate smell of gasoline. However, when it comes to that issue, there is hope to save the ride. In 2027, Disneyland’s Autopia will be transitioned to fully electric vehicles, and many of the fans who wish to preserve the Tomorrowland Speedway hope that a similar change is on the way for the Disney World version. Tomorrowland Speedway Both those who want the ride removed entirely and those who wish to see it modernized and updated were hoping to hear an announcement about the ride as part of a rumored larger Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland announcement at D23 in August. However, while a major announcement was made about Disneyland’s Tomorrowland, nothing was said about the Magic Kingdom’s. ©Disney The Tomorrowland Speedway will likely remain a controversial topic among Disney fans until the ride is either refurbished or replaced. It’s hard to believe, but we’ll be through with fall andHalloween season soon, which means the holiday season isn’t as far away as you might think. We know that it still might seem a little early to be thinking about the holiday season, but if you’ll be visiting Disney World for the holidays, now is the time to get all your planning done! Jazzy Holidays For example, if you have plans to attend Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, tickets are already available, so you just need to pick a date and get those tickets. However, if you also want to experience the special dining experience available during Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Brown Derby, well, reservations for that will open soon. Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby is a special dining experience you can book during Jollywood Nights. During this experience, you can sip on cocktails and enjoy an exclusive menu of light bites while listening to live musicians performing jazzy tunes and classic holiday songs. Food and Beverages at Jazzy Holidays This experience is ONLY available during Jollywood Nights, so you’ll need to buy a ticket for that to attend. To book Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby, reservations open on September 17th. Yep, that’s SOON. Reservations are highly encouraged because the restaurant generally fills up fast for this experience. Jazzy Holidays Disney also dropped a first look at some of the food and drinks that will be available this year. This one looks a lot like the Poinsettia Fizz made with Grand Marnier, cranberry juice, simple syrup, and prosecco with frozen cranberries. ©Disney It looks like the Jazzy Sliders are also coming back. These are bison and pork sliders with onion jam and gorgonzola. ©Disney There is also a photo of a drink we’re not sure we’ve seen before (Disney didn’t provide any food or drink names), so this could be a new drink for this year’s event. ©Disney We’ll be keeping an eye out for more holiday happenings in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 4 Menu Items CONFIRMED for 2026 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays! Festival Favorites has returned to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival for 2026, and once again you’ll find some favorite menu items from past festivals! 2026 Booth The 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you: we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one of the late-opening booths this year — Festival Favorites! Menu Festival Favorites has a menu full of favorites, and this year they’re also all ’30th anniversary legacy items’! On the food menu you’ll find Potato Pierogi, Bo Ssam Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps, and Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse Trifle. And if you’re looking for some favorite beverages, you can check out a Frozen S’mores, the NEW Frozen Apple Blossom, and three different beers (along with a beer flight if you want to check them all out). 2026 Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First on the menu is the Potato Pierogi with Kielbasa, Caramelized Onions, and Sour Cream for $5.99. We have been big fans of this item for years (we even tried to make them at home!). This dish used to be at the Poland Booth back in the day, and last year we really enjoyed the dish! This year, the pierogies have a nice, chewy texture with an exterior that’s similar to ravioli. But…they were really dry. You do get plenty of potato filling, but it’s stiff. We think maybe some butter would have improved this and brought the flavors out better. Potato Pierogi We couldn’t really taste the sour cream, but the caramelized onions were nice, and we even used it as a dip for the pierogies. We wish there were more. The kielbasa was very tough. This might be because it sat for a while before we ate it, but still… It also wasn’t very flavorful. So dry Next up, we checked out the Bo Ssam Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps with Bo Ssam Pork Belly, Kimchi Slaw, and Spicy Aïoli for $6.19. This is also a 30th anniversary legacy item and first debuted in 2010 at the South Korea booth! First, the textures are so good. You get crunch from the slaw, chewiness from the pork belly, and a fresh bite from the lettuce. The pork belly is also seasoned very well and cooked beautifully. The flavor comes through with a lingering heat. Bo Ssam Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps The kimchi adds some additional spiciness, as well as crunch, while the spicy aioli just pulls the entire dish together. Everything complements everything else. But let’s talk about the lettuce…it’s really thin, so it’s nearly impossible to really hold this as a wrap without it all falling apart. SO flavorful The final food item is the Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse Trifle featuring PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese with Citrus Sauce and Spice Cake topped with Cranberry Streusel for $5.29. This dish is reimagined for 2026 as a 30th anniversary legacy item, and was first served in 2011 at Hops & Barley as Pumpkin Mousse with Ocean Spray Craisins and Orange Sauce. The spice cake is moist, but overall, the main flavor we got was from the cream cheese. We didn’t really taste the pumpkin at all. Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse Trifle We did appreciate the cranberry streusel, which adds a nice sweetness and crunch. Again, we wish there were more, though! When we mixed everything, this tasted more like a citrus pudding mixed with spice cake. If you’re looking for something more pumpkiny, we’d suggest skipping this dessert. Drinks Returning to Festival Favorites again this year is the Frozen S’mores – a Chocolate Milk Shake with Marshmallow Syrup topped with Mini Marshmallows, Chocolate Shavings, and a Graham Cracker for $5.29. This drink is originally from the Desserts & Champagne booth in 2013. Last year, we said this was a basic chocolate shake but fun for the kids. This year, we thought it almost had an iced mocha flavor, and we really appreciated the generous amount of chocolate shavings and marshmallows. Frozen S’mores That all makes for a great combination with classic flavors that nearly everyone loves. However, this DOES melt quickly, so it’s more like chocolate milk by the time you get to the last sip, but it’s still tasty. This is a drink we think we’ll be 100% kid-approved. Kids will love it New at Festival Favorites in 2026 is the Frozen Apple Blossom made with Apple Cider, Seagram’s Ginger Ale, Hartley Apple VSOP Brandy, Mini Marshmallows, and Maple Syrup for $16.50. Y’all…this is dangerous. First, it’s so tasty that even the bees were trying to get to it (yep, the festival bees have returned). It’s one of those drinks where you can’t just stop at one sip (just drink it indoors so the bees aren’t diving into it). Frozen Apple Blossom This drink has a sweet and subtle alcohol flavor, with the most forward flavor being the apple, followed by the maple syrup. However, it all blends so well for that whole apple cider vibe. We didn’t think the mini marshmallows were necessary, but we still enjoyed them. This one melts quickly, too, but then it’s just like apple cider, so it’s still good. If you love apple cider, this should be on your festival “must-drink” list. So tasty Festival Favorites is also serving up three beers this year: Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen, Mainz, Germany Parish Brewing Co. SIPS Cabernet Franc Strawberry Berliner Weisse, Broussard, LA 3 Daughters Brewing Beach Blonde Ale, St. Petersburg, FL And you can sample all three in a beer flight for $12.75. OVERALL Overall, we weren’t too impressed with the food items at the Festival Favorites booth this year, especially as there are far better foods at other festival booths to choose from. For a booth with “Favorites” in its name, though, we think Disney might be confused about the defiinition of “favorites.” However, we would 100% come back for both frozen drinks, so there’s that. Full spread That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! If you’ve ever stood in the Florida sun at Disney World in July, sweat pooling in places you didn’t know could sweat, you already know the lengths guests will go to for a few extra degrees of relief. AMKEN Waist Fan We’ve tried the cooling towels, the misting fans, the frozen water bottles pressed against our necks. But we never thought we’d strap a literal turbine to our waistband and walk around the parks with it running on high — until we tried this! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Get this waist fan and stay cooler! Our AMKEN Waist Fan on our waist The AMKEN Waist Fan is a compact, rechargeable, wearable cooling fan — the kind of product that looks a little more “jobsite” than “theme park.” It clips to a belt or waistband, comes with its own belt if your clothes can’t support the weight, and includes a lanyard so you can wear it around your neck instead. It has three speed settings, a built-in LED flashlight with a flashing hazard mode, and charges via USB-C or standard USB. Our reporter went in expecting to hate this thing. But that skepticism didn’t last long: “I was nervous at first about wearing something around my waist, but it’s kind of become my friend now. I like having it with me, I feel safe with it, and I think it’s great.” Let’s stay cool with the AMKEN Waist Fan! This isn’t a dainty handheld fan that gives you a light breeze — it’s built for people who overheat easily and want serious airflow, even if that means carrying a little extra weight to get it. Where it really shined was indoors, layered on top of the park’s own air conditioning. Propped up on a tray at Tomorrowland Terrace, it “amplified the air conditioning beautifully — almost too much,” to the point that one spot on the stomach got almost too cold. At Cosmic Ray’s, where the A/C is “good but not great,” pointing the fan straight at the face made a noticeable difference. AMKEN Waist Fan One of the best things about this fan is that there isn’t just one “correct” way to wear it. Our reporter tried it clipped to their shorts (worked perfectly), clipped to a belt (fit fine, though they noted anyone bigger than an XL–2XL range might be pushing the sizing limit), and worn lanyard-style around the neck (this one didn’t work as well — with the intake covered by a shirt, it didn’t pull enough air). The trick, they found, was keeping the intake exposed, even discovering they could clip a T-shirt to the fan itself to keep the bottom vent clear. AMKEN Waist Fan No product is perfect, and this one comes with two honest trade-offs. The first is noise — it’s not deafening, but it does run constantly, and over a long day that hum can start to wear on you. The second is weight, which our reporter didn’t personally mind but flagged as a possible dealbreaker for smaller guests. As they put it: “That’s the trade-off: you get this incredible cooling power, but you have to accept sounding like you’re walking around with a vacuum cleaner in your shirt.” AMKEN Waist Fan Our reporter gave the AMKEN Waist Fan 4 out of 5 stars, docking a point only for the noise. Everything else — the cooling power, the versatility, the surprisingly sturdy build — won them over completely. They’d buy it again without hesitation, and they’d gift it too, not just to Disney-bound friends but to anyone who struggles with heat. view ON AMAZON We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! We are always on the lookout for the best treats and snacks around Disney World, and now that fall is in full swing, there have been so many new items to try. Beaches and Cream Walk-Up Window And we recently got an all-new shake over at Beaches and Cream, and we are bringing you our full review! On our last trip to EPCOT, we decided to take a walk over to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts to visit the Beaches and Cream walk-up window to try the all-new Cinnamon Roll Shake for $16. This is a butter pecan ice cream shake mixed with brown sugar syrup, a fall sprinkles rim, and a cinnamon roll on top. Cinnamon Roll Shake This shake tasted like fall in a cup with all of the warm spice flavors and the fall sprinkles! The cinnamon roll had flaky layers and a sweet cinnamon icing drizzle, although it did taste like it had been sitting out for a while. There were chunks of chopped pecans at the bottom of the shake that added a nice nutty crunch. The fall sprinkles were a cute detail that added a slight crunch, but they did not bring any flavor to the shake. The butter pecan ice cream was very subtle in flavor, and tasted almost like a vanilla shake at times. Cinnamon Roll Shake Most of that pecan flavor came through the actual chopped pecans at the bottom of the drink. But the ice cream was still rich, creamy, and very delicious. If you’re looking for an authentic butter pecan flavor, you might be slightly disappointed, but this shake was really delicious and an amazing option if you love fall flavors! If you’ve vacationed in Florida, you may already know Tampa International Airport (TPA), which offers nonstop service to 100 destinations worldwide. It’s probably the best airport to fly into if you’re visiting Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, too. ©Tampa International Airport Well, Tampa International Airport just shared some great news with its passengers: the airport has added new airside shuttles that will make getting around the airport a lot easier. Travelers passing through Tampa International Airport’s Terminals A and C will notice that both the Red and Blue automated shuttles have returned…but they’ve changed. The shuttles have been renovated with brand new Innovia APM 300 R shuttle cars, marking the third generation of automated shuttles to and from TPA’s Main Terminal since the airport first opened in 1971. ©Tampa International Airport The new shuttles may look familiar, but they have improved lighting, new video information screens, and doors with obstacle detection. TPA is also the first airport in the world to have its shuttles paired with Alstom’s new proprietary operating system, as well as new electrical running gear and concrete guideways. So these are top-of-the-line and will get you around the airport faster and more efficiently. ©Tampa International Airport Terminal E will also soon be getting the same upgrades. Work there is expected to be completed by the end of the year. New cars have also been ordered for Terminals E and F in the future. ©Tampa International Airport Another change has also come to TPA. Back in May, the airport started a trial of the TSA Gold+ program, which would privatize TSA security at the airport. However, TPA decided to end the program just before the U.S. government ended it nationwide. ©Tampa International Airport We’ll keep an eye out for more Florida airport changes and updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more. We’re at Hollywood Studios in Disney World today to check out the park’s new four-in-one attraction! The Magic of Disney Animation houses four attractions: Off the Page, Olaf Draws, Once Upon A Studio Theater, and the Drawn to Wonderland playground. The Mad Tea Party! We’re checking out the Drawn to Wonderland playground before it opens, and we’re taking you with us! Drawn to Wonderland is inspired by the Disney classic Alice in Wonderland. You and your littles can play and explore in some iconic scenes from the film in a whimsical, storybook setting unlike anything else in Hollywood Studios. It feels so magical in here! Drawn to Wonderland The playground features the Mad Tea Party with an interactive tea set. We opened up a teapot to reveal a surprise! It’s the dormouse! The Queen of Hearts’ rose garden features some interactive rose bushes… So fun! … and you can see the Queen of Hearts’ castle for yourself! Hollywood Studios finally has its own castle! You can explore the Tulgey Woods, where you’ll find so many spooky forest slides. The Tulgey Woods! And we even found the Cheshire Cat perched on top of a slide! It’s Cheshire Cat! There’s also a flower garden to explore, featuring the singing flowers from the movie! The flowers! They had this super cool flower sculpture that played music when you touch it! So cool! This playground is fully air-conditioned, so it was a great spot to beat the heat. The playground is only for children ages 5 and under, so it’s a great spot for your littles to cool down and get their energy out. The Mad Tea Party! We loved exploring the Drawn to Wonderland playground inside The Magic of Disney Animation, which will officially open on September 14th, 2026. We know we’re in the middle of the Halloween season in Disney World, but honestly, we’ll blink and it will soon be over, and we’ll start seeing holiday decor in the parks and be attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party before we know it. Glimmering Greenhouses Tour The holiday season also includes the EPCOT Festival of Holidays, which brings holiday fun, entertainment, and more to EPCOT from November 27th through November 30th. However, one of our favorite parts of the festival is the holiday overlay that comes to Living With The Land called Glimmering Greenhouses…and you can even take a backstage tour of it! Well, if that tour is something you’re interested in, we’ve got some important details for you. Now, you can currently take a regular tour of The Land Pavilion, including Living Wth The Land, through the Behind The Seeds tour. However, during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, you can take a special Behind The Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses tour. Learning more about Glimmering Greenhouses The tour costs $59 per person, with three available times each day of the festival: 6 P.M., 7 P.M., and 8 P.M. That means you’ll get to see a special “glimmering” version of The Land Pavilion at night, all lit up for the holidays. Reservations for the Glimmering Greenhouses tour open on September 24th, so mark those calendars! The tours have limited capacity, so you’ll want to book quickly. Festive Mickey topiary During the one-hour tour, you’ll learn more about The Land Pavilion and the crops grown there, as well as learn more about the holiday flavors that come directly from the greenhouses. You’ll also enjoy the pretty light displays in the pavilion, as well as explore the hydroponic greenhouses. We loved the tour in the past and think it’s totally worth it if you have the time for it. This tour was awesome Now, if you just want to take the regular Behind The Seeds Tour, that will still be available during the daytime. That tour is $39 per person, and you can book reservations for it now. Behind the Seeds Tour We’ll keep an eye out for more holiday happenings in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Ahh, the holidays. The ‘ber months are by far the best (in my personal opinion) and I can’t wait for the snow to start falling, the stockings to be hung, and the seasonal shopping to begin. I’m sure we all feel even more jolly and nostalgic as this time of year rolls around, with beloved family traditions, sentimental decor, and collectibles scattered around the house, and of course, the mission to find the perfect presents for everyone on your list. This last one can be especially tricky, but everyone here at the Disney Parks Blog is happy to help. Want to find a toy for the little ones in your life, home goods for the dedicated holiday host, or maybe matching pajamas for the whole family? We’ve got you covered with these and so much more! Stay tuned for updates as we share some merry new merchandise collections from Disney Store and fan-favorite brands over the next few months. September 9, 2026: Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection The first of many collections that we are excited to share comes from our friends at Disney Store, launching on DisneyStore.com September 14 and coming soon to Disney Parks. The Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection features cozy pajamas, charming home decor, and cheerful toys, with a classic color scheme and characters to complete the theme. This is a great place to begin if you want to ease into the holidays and start getting into the spirit. Pajamas Matching pajamas are something I always associate with the holidays for a Christmas card photoshoot or just to lounge around the house sipping cocoa and watching festive films. For adults, Disney Store has the Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Sleep Set for Women, Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Lounge Pants, or Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Hooded One-Piece Pajama (which even has Mickey Mouse ears on the hood for extra magic). If you’re my siblings reading this, surprise – you’re getting one of these for sure so we can all match. Kids will actually look forward to bedtime with these fun PJ options, including the Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Nightshirt for Girls, Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday One-Piece Pajama, Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday PJ PALS, or Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Stretchy Sleeper for Baby. The allover pattern shows Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Santa hats, with snowflakes, presents, lanterns, and holly swirling around them. Plush and Toys Toys are always at the top of most holiday wish lists, and you can count on Disney Store to have something sweet for the smallest friends on your shopping spree. Disney Store’s exclusive holiday plush are always one of my favorite keepsakes, especially because they have the year embroidered on the left foot! Commemorate the 2026 holiday season with the Mickey Mouse ”The Nutcracker” Holiday 2026 Plush and Minnie Mouse ”The Nutcracker” Holiday 2026 Plush, showing these characters costumed as a cute toy soldier and dancer from “The Nutcracker.” The Mickey Mouse and Friends Christmas Train Set by Lionel and Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Rubber Duck Set by Duckalooz double as both imaginative toys and interactive collectibles! Add a bit of festive flair to playtime or your keepsake shelf, with help from friends like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Home Decor Aside from shopping, decorating my space for the holidays is always one of my favorite activities. Some people have the halls decked by November 1, while others feel strongly about waiting until after the Parade has ended and the turkey has been carved on Thanksgiving Day. Regardless, I think we all probably appreciate a good home accent or piece of decor, and Disney Store has lots to admire this year. The Mickey Mouse Holiday Countdown Calendar is a great gift for those who wake up each morning wondering how many more days until Christmas, with a train-themed design and adjustable numbered blocks. Stockings are a simple but well-loved piece of the holiday decor puzzle, and you can pick from the Minnie Mouse Christmas Stocking or Mickey Mouse Christmas Stocking (or why not both)! The designs have embroidered character appliqués, and are adorned with velvet and a soft faux sherpa cuff. Spruce up your seating area with the Mickey Mouse and Friends Christmas Throw Blanket or Mickey Mouse Christmas Tartan Cushion. And trim the tree with these traditional accents (with a Disney twist) like the Tinker Bell Light-Up Christmas Tree Topper and Mickey Mouse and Friends Fantasyland Castle Reversible Holiday Tree Skirt. It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year in EPCOT! The 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will run from November 27th to December 30th, bringing Christmas cookies, live entertainment, and holiday cheer to the park. Candlelight Processional If the Candlelight Processional is on your must-do list, we recommend booking a dinner package for a guaranteed seat, even at popular showings. While the price of most dinner packages went up, two popular restaurants actually decreased in price! Disney released the 2026 Candelight Processional Dinner Package for 2026, and here are all the prices for each restaurant: Participating Restaurants Adult (ages 10+) Child (ages 3 to 9) Dining Plan Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Norway Pavilion $87 $59 2 Table-Service Meals Biergarten Restaurant Germany Pavilion $75 $40 1 Table-Service Meal Chefs de France France Pavilion $89 $37 1 Table-Service Meal Coral Reef Restaurant The Living Seas $82 $34 1 Table-Service Meal Garden Grill Restaurant The Land Pavilion $73 – Breakfast $86 – Lunch/Dinner $46 – Breakfast $55 – Lunch/Dinner 1 Table-Service Meal La Crêperie de Paris France Pavilion $59 $31 1 Table-Service Meal La Hacienda de San Ángel Mexico Pavilion $86 $37 1 Table-Service Meal Le Cellier Steakhouse Canada Pavilion $109 $44 2 Table-Service Meals Nine Dragons Restaurant China Pavilion $70 $30 1 Table-Service Meal Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue (Same-Day Dining Packages Only) American Adventure Pavilion $43 $26 Not Eligible Rose & Crown Dining Room United Kingdom Pavilion $68 $31 1 Table-Service Meal Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya Japan Pavilion $85 $40 1 Table-Service Meal Spice Road Table Morocco Pavilion $63 $26 1 Table-Service Meal Teppan Edo Japan Pavilion $89 $40 1 Table-Service Meal Tutto Italia Ristorante Italy Pavilion $85 $36 1 Table-Service Meal Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria Italy Pavilion $71 $33 1 Table-Service Meal Prosciutto e Melone pizza at Via Napoli Many of these restaurants have increased prices this year. In 2025, Biergarten Restaurant was $70 for adults and $38 for children, which now costs $87 for adults and $59 for children. The same applies to Le Cellier, which was $104 for adults and $42 for children, and now adults cost $109 and children cost $44. Over Disney World’s 50+ years, there have been many projects planned — and sometimes announced — that have been canceled before they saw the light of day. PLAY! Pavilion Concept Art ©Disney Over the last decade, EPCOT alone has seen several projects announced and previewed only to seemingly be buried. However, recent events make us think there’s at least a chance they may rise again… Mary Poppins At the 2019 D23 Expo, Van Dyke himself was brought on stage to announce that a Mary Poppins attraction (later revealed to be an indoor teacup-style attraction) was going to be added to the U.K. Pavilion as part of EPCOT’s then-ongoing reimagining. This indoor ride would have been themed within a recreation of Cherry Lane from the film series. Concept art was released, and the attraction was featured in the park’s preview center. Work in EPCOT stopped during the closure brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, when the park reopened and work resumed on the reimagining, the Mary Poppins attraction was conspicuously absent. Eventually, Disney confirmed that the attraction was scrapped, saying through a spokesperson, “As with most businesses during this period, we are further evaluating long-term project plans. The decision was made to postpone development of the Mary Poppins-inspired attraction…” ©Disney 6 Unspoken Outfit Rules In The UK Pavilion In Disney World Play! Pavilion Also first announced as part of the 2019 EPCOT reimagining, Disney was planning a whole new pavilion for EPCOT! The company announced that the long-abandoned Wonders of Life would be replaced by the Play! Pavilion, an “interactive futuristic city where guests would be able to interact with a variety of Disney characters.” The pavilion was heavily hyped in previews of the “reimagining”, with concept art displaying a tech-friendly environment featuring a litany of Disney characters. PLAY! Pavilion Concept Art ©Disney However, much like Mary Poppins, even as the rest of the reimagining went into construction after the park reopened from its COVID closure, work on the Play! Pavilion seemingly never began. In 2023, it was dropped from the park’s guide maps, and Disney said that the attraction’s concept was being reevaluated. In 2026, Disney removed the Play Pavilion flag from the park’s central plaza, signifying that the pavilion was never coming. ©Disney It Costs $585 To Eat EVERYTHING at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. This Is What Is Actually Worth Buying. A NEW World Showcase Country Over EPCOT’s 4+ decades, there have been a slew of countries planned and/or announced as being added to World Showcase, only to never see the light of day. Some of these scrapped nations include: A Costa Rica Pavilion featuring a large greenhouse filled with tropical plants and birds. The Equatorial Africa Pavilion, which would have been built around a 60-foot treehouse, and the “Heartbeat of Africa” live show. Remnants of this planned area can still be seen in the Outpost between China and Germany. An Iran Pavilion would have featured a dark ride exploring different parts of Persian history and a shopping area based on a bazaar. All Plans were scrapped after the Iranian Revolution. An Israel Pavilion was advertised on billboards when Epcot opened, and would have recreated ancient Jerusalem and featured a courtyard stage and open-air restaurant. The concept was scrapped due to budget problems and security issues. A Puerto Rico Pavilion was once planned for EPCOT’s ill-fated “Phase II” expansion. A Soviet Union or Russian-themed pavilion was planned for the projected “Phase II.” It would have been based on the Moscow Kremlin and dominated by a replica of St. Basil’s Cathedral. A Spain Pavilion was advertised on billboards in the mid-1980s, with a design blending elements of Barcelona and Madrid. It was planned to feature a boat ride, a film on Spanish history, and a restaurant. A Switzerland Pavilion intended to bring a Matterhorn Bobsleds-style ride to EPCOT was slotted into plans at one point. A United Arab Emirates Pavilion was planned to feature a magic carpet ride attraction and a show detailing the cultural and scientific achievements of the Middle East. A Venezuela Pavilion would have replicated a waterfall, a high-rise built into a cliff, and an aerial tram ride. ©Disney Given the fact that it has been nearly 40 years since Norway was added to the World Showcase and Disney has moved away from non-IP-based lands and attractions, it seems unlikely that a traditional country will be added anytime soon. However, unlikely does not mean impossible for any of these projects, as two major Disney announcements just taught us to never say never! World Showcase Lagoon Let’s begin with Spaceship Earth. Much like the Mary Poppins attraction and Play! Pavilion, a refurbishment of EPCOT’s iconic attraction, was first announced in 2019, and like those two, it was seemingly canceled following the COVID-19 pandemic and thought to be dead in the water. However, unlike the others, at this year’s D23, the company surprisingly announced a tweaked-yet-similar refurbishment that will take “Spaceship Earth into the internet age and beyond” by focusing specifically on human communication and human connection; they did stress that the ride will “remain recognizably and, importantly, classically EPCOT.” ©Disney Then there’s the Dreamfinder. For nearly 30 years, fans have been calling for this iconic EPCOT character to be reunited with Figment on a new version of Journey Into Imagination. These calls fell on deaf ears… until the 2026 D23 Ultimate Fan Event. After a false finish to the show, host Neil Patrick Harris reemerged dressed in the character’s iconic purple suit to confirm Dreamfinder’s upcoming return to rapturous applause! ©Disney | Let’s be honest, the original was the best! While these Disney projects may seem like they’re officially dead, we really must channel James Bond and never say never again, since if Disney can bring back Dreamfinder in 2026, ANYTHING seems possible! Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney’s upcoming projects! “Threw Up, Slept 4 Hours, Was Fine”; You Couldn’t Pay Me to Go on This EPCOT Ride Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! EPCOT is known for having incredible food and drinks, with all of the amazing restaurants and festival favorites. Spaceship Earth However, there is one EPCOT restaurant that has always been very controversial, and it is officially closed for refurbishment. Disney recently announced that the Coral Reef Restaurant in the Seas Pavilion would be closing for refurbishment. This is one of those restaurants where you either love it or hate it. The theming of this spot is undeniably incredible since you are dining in the Seas aquarium with fish and all sorts of sea creatures swimming next to the tables. However, some people feel as though the food does not live up to the hype or the theming. Coral Reef Restaurant Either way, this refurbishment started today, which means from now through November 4th this restaurant is unavailable. So while this closure is fairly brief, if you are visiting EPCOT in the next few months, it’s important to know that this spot will be closed. Coral Reef Restaurant But there is no shortage of incredible food to find in EPCOT right now; the Food & Wine Festival is well underway, bringing amazing food and drinks all around the park. 2026 Hawai’i Booth In fact, we often recommend skipping a dining reservation during the festivals in favor of eating at the food booths instead. 2026 Bramblewood Bites We will continue to bring you all of the Disney World news, closures, updates, and more, so stay tuned to Disney Food Blog so you never miss anything! Some new Owala water bottles have made their way to Target! Target Owala water bottles are some of our favorites, and they’ve gotten us through several trips to the Disney parks! These tumblers are often stylish AND practical, and we’re always looking to get our hands on new offerings. Fortunately, Target has us covered with some new bottles that you can grab online right now! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. This bottle is decked out in a gold and rustic-themed foliage design that is super earthy. These bottles each come with a leak-proof lid and FreeSip spout with a built-in straw that lets you sip or swig. BUY ONLINE AT TARGET This next design is timeless ©Target The next bottle features a simple Plaid design that will never age. These bottles are made of stainless steel with triple-layer insulation, so your drinks are bound to stay cold all day! It’s a GORGEROUS color, so be sure to grab it before it sells out! BUY ONLINE AT TARGET This is one of the most decorated Owala bottles we’ve seen ©Target We’re super impressed by this Toile be Home theme, which features a farmland-inspired design with a barn, trees, and animals in a white and blue color scheme. We have a confession to make: we LOVE cake. Okay, so maybe that’s not a big secret, given how many times we’ve been to The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers (hey, don’t judge us!). We’ve also spent a lot of time eating cake around Disney World, even when it’s in cupcake form. Tiffins in Animal Kingdom So when a new cake arrives in Disney World, we get excited, and we hope you do, too. That’s because a new cake slice has come to a popular restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom…and we can’t WAIT to try it out. If you happen to book a reservation at Tiffins for anytime soon, you might notice a brand new item on the desserts menu…and it’s cake! You can now order The Chocolate Travel Cake for $14. This cake is a chocolate-olive oil cake with fig-apricot jam, milk chocolate mousse, pistachio praline, yogurt kulfi, chocolate sauce, and basil sugar. It looks DELICIOUS. ©Disney Of course, if you’re going to make a reservation for Tiffins, you might as well go all in on a full meal. Looking for suggestions? Well, we always recommend getting the Tiffins Signature Bread Service (y’all know we love a good bread service). Bread Service For an entree, we recommend the Butter Chicken, which is everything you want this dish to be: you’ve got tender chicken in a smooth, creamy sauce with warm spices. Butter Chicken Honestly, though, you can’t go wrong with pretty much anything you order here, and it’s a nice way to take a break in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the middle of a long, hot park day. We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney World food news, so stay tuned to DFB for more. If there’s a new snack in Disney World, you KNOW we’re eager to try it, especially if it looks like it’s going to be absolutely delicious! Disney Springs! Over the years, Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs has put out some absolute bangers — gelato-stuffed doughnuts, amazing coffee treats, and just some genuinely good scoops. But now, we’re heading back to this beloved spot to snag a new treat…the Chocolate Crunch Croissant! Say hello to the Chocolate Crunch Croissant for $9. We snagged the pistachio version, but there’s also an almond flavor. It’s a pretty treat, but is it all style, no substance? The pistachio version! The croissant itself was alright to us. It lacks crunch and flaky layers that you would expect from a truly good pastry. Overall, it feels like two treats combined, but kept on different halves. The side with the chocolate crunch is super rich, with smooth dark chocolate and crunchy pistachios, but there’s nothing inside this side of the croissant! Hey, beautiful! The other side has the pistachio filling, which was creamy and nutty and delightful, but there was no exterior coating. Of the two sides, we preferred the side that was covered in chocolate, but the flavors overall didn’t meld together super well because there was no blending of the elements. There was a sharp difference in taste between the two sides of the croissant. The chocolate side Both sides were delicious, and this would be delightful to have with a cup of coffee, but it’s maybe not the best croissant you can get in Disney World, and we would love to have a more harmonious version. The vision was there, but the execution was off on our particular order. (Perhaps others aren’t quite as stark — maybe we got a strange one?) Inside the croissant Thanks for coming along with us to Disney Springs! We’ll keep you in the loop with more eats and treats to try, so subscribe to our newsletter for the latest!
