One of the biggest movies of the year is getting ready to hit theaters this December, and in case youâre wondering, no, weâre still not ready, even though weâve known itâs been coming for years now. ©Marvel Avengers: Doomsday is about to knock us right off our feet; we just know it, and you can bet weâve already been thinking about the best time to get into the theater to see the film on the big screen. If youâre as excited as we are, then youâll be thrilled to know that you can make a fully informed decision on which theater to see the film at, now that four of them have released the souvenirs that will soon be available! When it comes to Regal Cinemas, youâre going to have multiple different options to choose from. In fact, itâs got one of the largest collections out of all the theater companies (though not THE largest!), so if you want variety, this might be who you want to go with. ©Regal Cinemas The collection at Regal consists of: Doomâs Throne Popcorn Container ©Regal Cinemas Sentinel Collectible Drink Vessel ©Regal Cinemas Doctor Doom Statue Popcorn Bucket ©Regal Cinemas AMC Theaters also has quite a collection, and THIS is the theater youâll want to head to if you want to collect all you can to remember the film by. The collection consists of: Sentinel Head popcorn bucket Doctor Doom Collectible popcorn bucket Bottle of Doom drinkware Team Icon Collectible available in three designs (including the logos of Doctor Doom, The Avengers, and the X-Men) ©AMC Theaters If you donât have Regal or AMC near you, not to worry, because Cinemark also has some great collectibles available. The collection includes: LED Doctor Doom Statue Bucket LED Doctor Doom Character 3D Cup Souvenir Cups available in four designs Popcorn Tins featuring various Marvel heroes ©Cinemark Finally, if youâre heading to Vue Cinemas, the collection you can check out includes: Avengers Assemble Popcorn Buckets Stained Glass Throne Popcorn Bucket Doctor Doom Popcorn Bust Doom and Sentinels Sipper Cups ©Vue Cinemas Now, for these theaters, itâs important to note that you donât have to be seeing a film to get access to these souvenirs. In fact, you can walk into the theater, grab what youâd like through the concessions checkout line, or ask an employee behind the counter for what youâd like, purchase your souvenirs, and walk right back out without buying a movie ticket. This is great if you want to see the film at Regal, per se, but you want to grab some of the AMC-exclusive items. Did you know you can do the same with movie theater popcorn? Yep, nothing is stopping you from purchasing some of that goodness and then just bringing it back home. Think your Disney vacation rental has to be a beige condo with a sad pool and framed Mickey prints? Think again. Welcome to Disney World! I spent way too many hours scrolling through 300 Airbnbs near Disney World, and what I found was less âhome away from homeâ and more âdid a theme park designer build this in their spare time?â From themed kidsâ rooms that rival anything in the parks to houses that look like they were dropped in from another planet, these 9 homes prove Orlando takes âover the topâ very seriously. A Game Room in Space This Airbnb in Davenport sleeps 10 guests in its 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. From the outside, it looks like a typical Florida home. You can even find a gorgeous pool in the backyard that is perfect on those hot Florida days. However, there are two things that make this home stand out. First, if you have a Toy Story fan, this room will have them feeling like a cowboy just like Woody. ©Airbnb If you have kids who love to play games, this game room is perfect. First, the mural on the wall makes you feel like youâre in space. Itâs reminding me of Space 220, anyone else? Itâs complete with a pool table, air hockey table, and a foosball table. Itâs the perfect way to relax after a busy park day. ©Airbnb Sleep Right on Main Street This townhouse located in Kissimmee has 5 Bedrooms and 4.5 Bathrooms. For $321 a night, 16 guests can stay here and be minutes from Disney World. The living spaces of the townhouse are very modern, but what caught our attention was this Disney room below with a massive mural of Main Street U.S.A., right next to the bed. While we canât sleep directly on Main Street (outside of a nap waiting for the parade), this is the next best thing! ©Airbnb Immersive Home Just 8 Miles From Disney There are so many incredible things about this next Airbnb, but here are just a few highlights from the 8-bedroom, 6-bathroom home in Clermont. At just $496 a night, it can accommodate 20 guests. First, this stunning bedroom fit for a princess comes with a castle inside it â yes, a castle! ©Airbnb If youâre a Harry Potter fan, this room is incredible. It has two twin beds in it with murals of famous scenes from the films that make you feel like youâre in the movie. From famous Hogwarts professors on the wall to a copy of the daily prophet hanging on the wall, fans will be thrilled to stay here. ©Airbnb But thatâs not all! Super Mario fans will love this game space to play in. Itâs complete with an air hockey table and even a slide. I can also confirm this is one of many slides that are located INSIDE of this house. ©Airbnb Sleep Next to Darth Vader This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in Davenport is just 15 minutes from Disney World. Star Wars fans, this bedroom with two double beds is for you. Inside youâll find BB-8, a Stormtrooper helmet, a gorgeous mural featuring the Millennium Falcon, and a life-sized Darth Vader. Iâm not sure if Iâm more impressed or terrified at the idea of waking up next to it, but either way, itâs unique! ©Airbnb This Bedroom is Made for Rapunzel This 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom townhouse in Clermont is $367 a night. Itâs just 8 miles from Disney World and has a lot of character! This Rapunzel room looks like the story came to life, with a replica of her tower with bunk beds. ©Airbnb But if you arenât impressed enough by that, look at this gorgeous recreation of the boat from the movie that is perfect for playing in. Youâll even find the Corona lanterns hanging just above it, making it a great photo opportunity. ©Airbnb For Star Wars fans, this bunk room is reminding us of the Galactic Starcruiser rooms as they feature a similar design. Youâll also find lightsabers on the walls and a slide in the room. ©Airbnb This How to Train Your Dragon Room is Incredible! This townhouse in Kissimmee can host 14 guests at $363 per night. One of my favorite features about this home is the How to Train Your Dragon room. This room comes with two sets of bunk beds that are located in the viking ships! ©Airbnb Not only is there a wall mural featuring beloved characters from the film, but just above the beds, youâll find a sky full of clouds. Any How to Train Your Dragon fan will love this. ©Airbnb A Fairytale Dream This home in Kissimmee has 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and is available for $505 a night. One of the rooms is this impressive Princess Carriage Room. Two twin carriage beds whisk you away to your castle, and it is a dreamy escape for anyone who loves fairy tales. ©Airbnb For Toy Story fans, you can sleep in a spaceship queen bunk or a saloonâstyle twin bunk, crawl through a tunnel, and slide down into Woodyâs Saloon. This room is pure joy for little adventurers. ©Airbnb This Home has A Room for Everyone This home in Davenport has 6 bedrooms, each with a fun theme. The first is a Harry Potter room featuring a Platform 9 3/4 mural on the wall. ©Airbnb Next up, youâll feel like youâre with the Naâvi in Pandora with stunning vines on the ceilings and glowing animals on the walls. ©Airbnb Finally, a Minions room complete with bunk beds and a slide. Youâll find your favorite minion friends on the murals on the wall! ©Airbnb Up to 20 Guests Will Love This Home! Over in Clermont, guests can stay at this 7-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home. This Monsters, Inc. home theater will give you plenty of reasons to relax at the house after a long park day. Itâs even got a popcorn maker! ©Airbnb Another room fit for royalty! This bedroom features a large castle that you can sleep in and a large mural on the wall of the Disney princesses. We love the flower details on the castle as well. ©Airbnb Finally, kids will be able to play in this Toy Story game room that includes a slide and a rock wall. Just in case they didnât get their energy out at the park, this room will tire them out! ©Airbnb So there you have it: 9 Airbnbs near Disney World that prove âvacation rentalâ can mean a whole lot more than a spare bedroom and a pull-out couch. Whether youâre dreaming of a castle getaway or a themed bedroom your kids will talk about for years, thereâs clearly a home out there for every brand of Disney fan. Planning out what youâre going to do and eat at each EPCOT festival can take a LOT of time, especially with the constant changes of menus, live entertainment, and exclusive festival offerings. Food & Wine Festival Thatâs why weâre letting you in on 4 new rules we can expect for the EPCOT festivals next year because itâs better to be prepared than surprised! Rule #1: Check For Merchandise That COMES With The Item Instead Of Buying It This first one is a money-saving tip â check for the food and drink items that COME with a free souvenir instead of buying one in the gift shop. A lot of the time, specialty beverages will come with a souvenir cup you can take home. If youâre going to get the drink anyway, you might as well save yourself some money and keep that cup instead of buying one of the festival cups from the gift shop. Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea This is also true for the completer prizes. Once you eat a certain number of items and collect stamps in your festival passport, you can collect your completer prize at one of the booths, which is often an exclusive souvenir! Of course, itâs not going to be a T-shirt, so youâll have to buy those at the gift shops, but it may be a cup or cookware! Double-check what the prize is before you spend your own money on it! Emileâs Fromage Montage Finisher Prize Finally, some of the best prizes are the FREE ones! When you buy a scavenger hunt map at each of the festivals, not only will you be entertained, but youâll also get a prize at the end! This prize may be available for purchase in the gift shop, so itâs always good to check before you have double! 2026 Spikeâs Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt Prize I Just Realized Iâve Been Taking the WRONG BUS To EPCOT For Years Now Rule #2: Donât Stop At The First Booth You See There are nearly 20 booths at every festival each year, and those booths can have anywhere from two to five items, not including the drinks offered there, too! In order to hit every must-try item on your list, you have to plan very carefully, which is why you should not stop at the first booth you see. There are PLENTY of food booths around the park. If youâre starving and may not make it to the next booth, we wonât judge, but in all other cases, head to the booth YOU want. 2026 India food booth EPCOT Drinking Around the World Guide: Best Spots for Margarita Loyalists, Wine Snobs, and Anyone Who Only Drinks Beer Rule #3: Donât Stay At The Park The Whole Time While some festivals may have limited time, itâs important to listen to yourself and your body, which means you will need to plan to take breaks. Itâs okay to head back to the hotel for a refresh. Itâs okay to leave the park early if youâre exhausted. Itâs not okay to feel worn out to the point youâre dragging your feet to get to the next food booth. Plan for those breaks because they are MUCH needed. 2026 Hawaiâi Booth Disney Announces Plans to Solve an EPCOT Ride Problem, and It Backfired Rule #4: Make The Festival More Than Just About Eating There is SO much to do at the EPCOT festivals, and this goes beyond eating and drinking at the food booths. From live entertainment to scavenger hunts, there are plenty of other things to enjoy at the festivals! At the Festival of the Arts, you can see artists in action through chalk art, live paintings, and more! At the Flower and Garden Festival, there are performances from live bands and singers at the Garden Rocks Concert Series! The Food and Wine Festival will bring you the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, while you can enjoy Holiday Storytellers and the Candlelight Processional at the Festival of the Holidays. Holiday Storytellers at Italy Pavilion in EPCOT Keep these rules in mind during your 2027 trip to the EPCOT festivals! Stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more Disney news, updates, tips, and tricks! There are quite a few more changes happening at Disney World in 2027. Check them out in the video below! In Hollywood Studios, those classic red and white stars arrived on Sunset Boulevard. Itâs Christmas time in Hollywood Studios! They are arguably our favorite Christmas decorations, and oftentimes theyâre the first sign Christmas is around the corner. This year, they popped up on October 30th, but they were he only Christmas decorations present in Studios so far. At the time of writing, Echo Lake and Toy Story Land are still holding back on their festive fun. Look at those stars! Over in Animal Kingdom, we found decorations in TWO spots for the holidays. First, in Discovery Island, those beautiful animal lanterns appeared above Discovery Island Mercantile. BREAKING: NEW Treats Announced for Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom The Train Is Back In Action Over in Magic Kingdom, we found a lovely surprise when the Walt Disney World Railroad reopened early! The classic Magic Kingdom attraction has been closed since September for some short-term, planned maintenance. The ride reopened a day early on October 29th, and we were welcomed into the park with the sweet sound of a train whistle. The train! Currently, the train is still running in âshuttle mode,â meaning itâs going back and forth from the Main Street Station to the Fantasy Land Station. Currently, the Frontierland Station is closed while work on Piston Peak and Villains Land continues. Both of these new lands donât have an opening timeline, so the train could be in shuttle mode for quite a while. Walt Disney World Railroad Train in Fantasyland Weâre happy to see you back, friend! The Walt Disney World Railroad Is Back, but Thereâs Still One Big Catch One of Our Favorite Restaurants Changed! Finally, one of our favorite Magic Kingdom restaurants changed its menu this week. Columbia Harbour House got a âreimaginedâ menu this week, and we were seriously concerned because we LOVE this restaurant. The shrimp, fish, and even the Boston Cream Pie all received a new look this week. New eats from Columbia Harbour House Luckily, we did a full review, and things are still looking bright at this Magic Kingdom quick service. These wonât be the best fried seafood dishes youâve ever had in your life, but theyâre still tasty, familiar, and beat several of the other Magic Kingdom quick services in our book. Beer-battered Fish Platter The best part? The Boston Cream Pie was still delicious! The cake was soft and fluffy with chocolate ganache on top. It reminded us of chocolate chip pancakes in a really nice way. You can read our full review below! REVIEW: This Magic Kingdom Restaurant Just Got a Menu OverhaulâŠBut Is It Still One of Our Favorites?! WOW! We canât wait to enjoy all the sugar and sweets headed our way. Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando! TRON Lightcycle / Run Disney World wait times have a reputation for being, well, unpredictable, and thatâs especially true during the fall season. Alright, Disney World, itâs time to really dive in and see what youâve got going on this week. Itâs currently wall-city all around the parks (with the exception of EPCOT; rock on, EPCOT), but itâs all to bring exciting new additions to the parksâŠbut that doesnât mean theyâre any easier to look at for now. Polynesian construction This week, we didnât see too much movement on the major projects behind the walls, but we DID see a lot of details added to one specific new land, and it does make us laugh a bit every time we see it (in a good way!). On the flip side, a project in EPCOT did finally finish up, though weâre not sure people are going to be big fans of the final product, and for the holiday lovers out there, one of your favorite ride overlays comes back this week! You know that big pavement project EPCOT was working on? Well, itâs officially complete, but itâs totally lost the lighting effects that used to be present at night, and weâre already missing them. Unfortunately, it was also revealed that the work on Trader Samâs Tiki Terrace at Disneyâs Polynesian Village Resort has been extended yet again. Now, instead of opening this month as previously planned, itâll remain closed through mid-December (after closing in April). Letâs take a look at what you need to expect in terms of closures and ongoing construction in Disney World from October 30th through November 6th. Magic Kingdom Carousel of Progress Carousel of Progress closed on July 6th to undergo a major refurbishment. The work will include completely revamping the scenes in the attraction to make them more modern and represent more recent parts of history, as well as adding a new Walt Disney animatronic at the opening. ©Disney Currently, the attraction is set to reopen in 2027, though no official date has been set yet. Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island An iconic part of the Magic Kingdom is now permanently closed. As of July 7th, 2025, the Rivers of America, including the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, are permanently closed to make way for the new Cars area, Piston Peak. There are lots of construction walls up in the area now, and the structures on Tom Sawyer Island have been demolished. Most recently, we saw some pretty great updates on the progress at the site! via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter Piston Peak National Park will be replacing this area of the Magic Kingdom. Disney has not yet announced an opening date for the new Cars area, but we do know it will feature two brand-new attractions and be themed to look like a National Park. The Walt Disney World Railroad Is Back, but Thereâs Still One Big Catch Disneyâs Hollywood Studios Muppets Courtyard Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo closed on June 8th, 2025, and Muppets Courtyard has been walled off for construction on the new Monsters, Inc. land. Mama Melroseâs Ristorante Italiano has been closed since May 11th, 2025. Most recently, we saw TONS of teeth added to the details around the buildings. Weâre talking on the roof, on the windowsills, and more â practically anywhere thereâs room, youâll find teeth. It very much fits the monster vibe, thatâs for sure! So many teeth! Weâll get to explore their world during H.U.M.A.N. Day, or âHumans Understand Monsters Are Niceâ Day, with Disney continuing to say, âHuman guests will have the chance to explore the city, meet its citizens, taste unique cuisine, and step into the everyday world of monsters in a totally new way. For the first time, two worlds once separated are meeting face to scaly, furry, and fang-filled face â brought together not by screams, but by laughter.â ©Disney Itâs also been fully confirmed that Harryhausenâs will be one of the restaurants in the new land, in addition to Archieâs Square Pig Pizza. Most recently, we got a look at some of the new food coming to the land, and weâve gotta say, weâre pretty excited! ©Disney If youâre missing The Muppets, you can go visit them at Rock ânâ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets right now! FIRST LOOK! Christmas Has Arrived in Disneyâs Hollywood Studios EPCOT Coral Reef Restaurant Coral Reef, one of the most controversial restaurants in all of Disney World, closed for refurbishment on September 8th. Coral Reef Restaurant The Disney World website recently adjusted to allow guests to begin booking reservations again on November 4th and beyond, which weâre now considering the reopening date, unless Disney tells us differently. Sections of Germany Pavilion On July 13th, both the guest bathrooms in the Germany Pavilion and the majority of the Volkskunst store in EPCOTâs Germany Pavilion closed for refurbishment. The roof of Das Kaufhaus is also under refurbishment. Totally closed While a Cast Member did tell us the store closure was to fix the Cast Member bathrooms out of sight, Disney has not revealed a reopening date for the store or the public bathrooms. Other parts of the pavilion are also seeing construction and refurbishment, but are not causing additional closures. 3 New Disney Rumors Swirling This Week: Whatâs Real, Fake, or TBD Disneyâs Animal Kingdom DinoLand, USA On February 2nd, DinoLand, USA, officially closed to make way for the new Tropical Americas land, Pueblo Esperanza. Most recently, thanks to a behind-the-scenes update from Disney, we got a look at the progress coming to this new land. ©Disney We can also see lots of work happening at the front of the new Indiana Jones ride, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent! ©bioreconstruct This new land will have three new rides: El Carrusel de los Animalitos featuring classic Disney animals, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent where youâll explore a Mayan temple, and Antonioâs Fiesta de Encanto that invites you into the Madrigalsâ home. We canât wait to continue to see how it all shapes up. THEYâRE HERE! Christmas Decorations Just Landed at Disneyâs Animal Kingdom Disney World Hotels Disneyâs Port Orleans â French Quarter Scat Catâs Club and Lounge at Disneyâs Port Orleans â French Quarter officially closed for refurbishment on October 6th. Donât worry, you can still grab the iconic beignets next door at Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory Mickey Beignets at Disneyâs Port Orleans Resort Additionally, to make up for the lack of drinks at the lounge, a temporary bar will be available near the cafe from 5 PM to 11 PM each night. When it comes to reopening, the cafe is set to be closed till December and the Lounge until January, though Disney hasnât released official dates. All-Star Sports Resort Disney quietly announced that Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar is closing for a refurbishment. It closed on September 18th and is expected to last through mid-December 2026. Grandstand Spirits During the closure, we recommend you swing by End Zone Food Court, just a short walk away from the pool, to snag your eats and drinks. Disneyâs Animal Kingdom Lodge There are numerous closures taking place around Animal Kingdom Lodge over the next few months that may affect your vacation. The main lobby and primary entrance were set to be closed from August 17th through October 9th, and check-in moved to the Palace Library. Additionally, from September 28th through October 9th, the north side lobby corridor was set to be closed, which closed the north side lobby elevators on the second floor and the outdoor terrace observation deck. However, during a recent visit, itâs clear that this refurbishment is far from over. Disneyâs Animal Kingdom Lodge Currently, the section of the lobby closest to the back savanna has reopened, which includes the refurbished stairs, giving guests access between the lobby level, Sanaa, and the savanna, and also opens up the walking path between the two sides of the resort. However, the rest of the lobby and Johari Treasures refurbishment is far from complete. Cast Members donât have an estimate for when it will be finished, but it definitely wonât be soon, based on the level of construction we still saw. The refurbished stairs! The other refurbishment thatâs about to begin is: October 26th through November 6th: The south side lobby corridor will be closed. During this time, Community Hall, Safari So Good Arcade, the laundry room, the Palace Library, lobby restrooms, and the outdoor terrace observation deck will be unavailable. Sassagoula River Cruise â Disneyâs Old Key West Resort The Sassagoula River Cruise at Disneyâs Old Key West, which takes guests to Disney Springs, is temporarily closed. Itâs expected to reopen on November 1st, and until that time, bus transportation will be available. Old Key West Dock This spot was also closed from late July to early August this year as well, so itâs possible, but not confirmed, that the boats and/or docks may require additional maintenance that wasnât initially expected. Convention Center and El Centro Corridor â Disneyâs Coronado Springs Resort Beginning on August 10th, the Convention Center at Disneyâs Coronado Springs Resort began a planned refurbishment that is expected to last through September 2027. Coronado Springs Additionally, the hotelâs El Centro Corridor and surrounding areas will also undergo refurbishment tied to the convention center refurbishment. While thereâs no end date for this construction project, we do know that work will be completed in phases, with certain spaces being temporarily inaccessible at times. Disneyâs Grand Floridian Resort & Spa This hotel has been undergoing refurbishments for quite some time now, but some sections of the hotel â specifically the porte cochere â will continue to undergo refurbishment through at least early 2027. Disneyâs Grand Floridian Resort We certainly hope itâll actually reopen on this timeline â weâre a little tired of seeing construction all over this beautiful hotel! Bay Lake Tower at Disneyâs Contemporary Resort Currently, work is taking place all over Bay Lake Tower through Late 2027. Bay Lake Tower While currently no major closures are taking place due to this construction, itâs important to note that you may see or hear construction during your stay. Disneyâs Saratoga Springs Resort The tennis courts at Disneyâs Saratoga Springs Resort are currently closed for refurbishment. Saratoga Springs While Disney hasnât shared an exact reopening date, the current timeline is that theyâll be closed from late August through November 2026. Disneyâs Polynesian Village Resort Trader Samâs Tiki Terrace closed in April for refurbishment, and originally had a reopening timeline of June. Then, the timeline was pushed to mid-October, but itâs now just been pushed to mid-December, meaning this spot will have been closed for over half of this year. Tiki Terrace Construction Itâs unclear what exactly is being done at this spot, but weâll be sure to keep a close eye out and update you on what we see. Disneyâs BoardWalk Inn and Resort The Promenade Fine Art Gallery closed its Disneyâs Boardwalk location on October 20th, 2025. However, the Promenade Fine Art Gallery isnât closing for good, and it will just be moving to a new location. Promenade Fine Art Gallery Disney filed permits for the Boardwalk titled âProject Amazonâ and âProject Bubblesâ earlier this year, and now that we have a bit more information on them, weâre thinking that this currently vacant spot could soon become the home of the new Basin on the Boardwalk store on its way! The shop will be rooted in the resortâs classic boardwalk heritage and will offer a sensory shopping experience that is described as âboth timeless and distinctly new.â A Word of Warning About Grabbing Breakfast at Your Disney World Hotel Weâll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest Disney World news, so stay tuned to DFB! Disney has been implementing and collaborating with AI so much that it feels like weâre constantly getting hit with news left and right. Now, we have yet another update: an AI company quietly announced its partnership with Disney. The Mandalorian and Grogu Disney just added Marvel and Star Wars characters to Voicemod, an AI-powered voice-modifying platform that lets users change their voiceâs tone and sound to sound just like their favorite characters. Voicemod will add Star Wars and Marvel projects to its platform, allowing its 5.7 million monthly active users to use quotes and sound effects as they communicate on social and gaming platforms like Twitch and Discord. The first Star Wars soundboards from The Mandalorian & Grogu are available now, and more from Star Wars and Marvel will be available in the future. ©Disney Available as standalone purchases within the Voicemod platform, users can access soundboards from many fan-favorite Star Wars stories, including sounds and voices of The Mandalorian, Grogu, and more, to build a collection tailored to the characters and worlds they enjoy. The soundboards plug directly into the platformâs audio setup, allowing users to trigger sounds in real time while gaming, streaming, or chatting online. ©Voicemod âGameplay and streaming are inherently social, and a lot of that experience comes down to how people react and interact in the moment,â Jaime Bosch, Voicemodâs founder and CEO, said in a statement. âThese soundboards build on those interactions by giving users a way to bring sounds from Marvel and Star Wars into those moments, whether theyâre joking with friends, reacting on stream, or creating content. The shared feelings that come from sounds people know and love generate an instant sense of belonging.â ©Voicemod This isnât Disneyâs first venture into using characters on AI-powered software. Last year, 200-plus Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars characters were added to Sora AI, OpenAIâs generative AI short-form video platform, under a three-year licensing agreement. However, Disney quickly exited the deal when Sora AI shut down this March. ©SORA During the Disney x Sora dealâs dissolution, a Disney spokesperson said, âWe will continue to engage with AI platforms to find new ways to meet fans where they are while responsibly embracing new technologies that respect IP and the rights of creators.â The Walt Disney Company Weâll continue to keep you updated on the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more. Letâs take a look at all of the holly jolly decor thatâs already popping up! The ice skating rink for Glisten is already installed! Currently, the stage is covered in a white tarp so the ice isnât exposed. Weâre so excited that the show is coming back for 2026. The stage! Glisten is an ice-skating show located right in front of the Chinese Theater, featuring live dancers and ice skaters jamming out to your favorite Christmas tunes. Disney hasnât announced the times for performances this year, but itâll likely show multiple times a night like the years before. Glisten! The snowflake towers hiding the light fixtures are also installed, featuring a baby blue background with a white geometric snowflake. So festive! Plus, some topiaries are out, too, and theyâre evenly distributed around the stageâs platforms for even more holiday decorations. Some holly jolly plants! If youâre willing to spend on an after-hours event, weâll always recommend Jollywood Nights. It features amazing live entertainment, including one of our favorites: Holidays in Hollywood. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host this stage show, which features other fun acts from Disney Princesses and, of course, Minnie and Mickey. Holidays in Hollywood Another show returning is Whatâs This? Tim Burtonâs The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along. This sing-along show takes you through the events of the iconic film with appearances by Jack, Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie, and more! Sing Along In addition to live entertainment, Jollywood Nights also features meet-and-greets with some exclusive characters like Mike Wazowski, George Sanderson, and Needleman from Monsters, Inc., Baloo and King Louie from TaleSpin, Lotso from Toy Story 3, Bo Peep from Toy Story, The Mandalorian and Grogu, Joy from Inside Out, and more! Bo Peep at Jollywood Nights Plus, you can grab some holiday food at select quick-service locations throughout the park, and look out for two exclusive dining experiences: The Hollywood Brown Derby transforms into Jazzy Holidays, a speakeasy-inspired jazz lounge, and The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard hosts the Twilight SoirĂ©e at the Tip Top Club, an otherworldly soirĂ©e with a ghostly band! Food and Beverages at Jazzy Holidays Jollywood Nights runs from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM on select nights from November 7th, 2026 to January 5th, 2027. Welcome back, coffee people! Itâs time for episode FIVE of trying to find out which Disney World hotel is the best for people who want good coffee and also want to add a little Disney magic to their workday! Chip at Disneyâs Riviera Resort Thatâs right! Iâve given myself the challenge of visiting EVERY Disney World hotel to see which is the best to work from home (and drink coffee) at! Weâre basing this all on their coffee, their atmosphere, and their space (the number of tables and outlets available), and today, weâre headed to the Riviera Resort! Disneyâs Riviera Resort is one of the companyâs newer Disney Vacation Club resorts, opening in December 2019. This resort offers 1-, 2-, and 3-Bedroom Villas, as well as Tower and Deluxe Studios. It is located most closely to EPCOT and is home to a Disney Skyliner location. The resort is inspired by Europe, specifically Walt and his wife Lillianâs own travels along the French Riviera. The theme translates into a refined and elegant space that is simultaneously bright and airy, with a touch of Disney whimsy through several murals. Tangled Mural at Disneyâs Riviera Resort There are several (delicious) dining locations at this resort, including Bar Riva (the resortâs pool bar), Le Petit Cafe (the resortâs coffee shop/bakery), Primo Piatto (the resortâs quick-service location), and Topolinoâs Terrace â Flavors of the Riviera (the resortâs table-service location). Itâs a fine dining spot! Coffee â 9/10 Letâs start with the coffee, which I had VERY high expectations for. Everyone RAVES about the coffee at Le Petit Cafe, especially their specialty cold brews, so it was a no-brainer that I had to get one of those! I decided to grab a large Cinnamon Cold Brew for $7.44. This is topped with House-made Honey-Almond Whipped Cream, and I added a splash of oat milk. And letâs just say that this coffee did NOT disappoint. Cinnamon Cold Brew Most of the coffees Iâve had during this series have either been so sweet that I couldnât taste the coffee flavor or so bitter that I couldnât even drink it. This cold brew was straight in the middle â not too sweet but still can taste the coffee without being too bitter! The only reason it doesnât get a perfect 10/10 is that I wish there was a bit more of that cinnamon flavor, but other than that, it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend! Atmosphere â 10/10 The vibes of the Riviera are just impeccable. I wanted to start my day outside, but unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didnât reach there, so I was forced to work my whole day inside (which was not a problem at all). Next to Le Petit Cafe is the Voyageursâ Lounge, and this is the spot that guests tend to work from. This lounge reflects Walt Disneyâs travels through Europe, including decor inspired by the books Walt Disney collected and his 1935 âGrand Tourâ through the continent. Voyageursâ Lounge It was dimly lit, but not too dark to the point where I couldnât see my work, and the ambiance and music playing were perfect for the resort. Most resorts play the classic Disney songs, which the Riviera did too, but in a different way â the songs were sung in French! This added an extremely nice touch to my workday. And so many other guests had the same idea because almost every table that was occupied had a laptop with them to do their work! Voyageursâ Lounge Space â 7/10 Speaking of Voyageursâ Lounge and their tables, there were quite a few. This space was really meant for people who wanted to work from home at the resort, so there are outlets readily available at each table, including at the long, tall table. However, there were only about 10 tables/spaces for each party. Le Petit Cafe also has some seating with outlets, but only about five tables in there. So, while there were plenty of outlets for the number of tables, there could have been more tables, which is why Iâm giving the space a 7/10. Voyageursâ Lounge Overall â 8.5/10 Thatâs right, everyone â we have a NEW leader! The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was AMAZING, and there was enough space where I wasnât fighting to find a table or an outlet! This has definitely been my favorite resort to work from so far in this series, which is why it is getting an 8.5/10. Here are my current rankings: Riviera Resort â 8.5/10 BoardWalk Inn â 8/10 Coronado Springs Resort â 7/10 Polynesian Village Resort â 5/10 Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds â 5/10 Le Petit Cafe We are headed to ALL of the Disney World resorts for this series, so stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more because theyâre coming real soon! Weâve seen EPCOT crowds rise pretty exponentially over the past few weeks, thanks to both the Food & Wine Festival and the fact that itâs the only park without major construction walls right now (we find ourselves gravitating there too). Crowds entering EPCOT During festivals, especially Food & Wine, which is one of the most popular of the year, if not THE most popular of the year, crowds can get pretty intense, so itâs important to pack your patience. Though, based on new data thatâs just come out from the TEA Global Experience Index, the theme park isnât NEARLY as busy as about seven others that have been experiencing higher crowds. What is the TEA Global Experience Index, you ask? It was formerly known as the Theme Index and Museum Index Report, and it provides a bit of insight into how many guests are visiting theme parks around the world each year. The most recent report was for 2025, and while we often just look at the North American theme parks, there are hundreds of popular vacation spots all over the world that are important to take into account. Crowds According to the 2025 report, while EPCOT ranks as the third most popular park in North America, behind only Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park, on the global list, it ranks number seven. Now, at the top of the list in the WORLD is none other than Magic Kingdom. Yes, even though youâve heard us talk about how weâve been surprised at low crowds in the park more days than we expected, it still is the most crowded park in the world. Crowds at Magic Kingdom At number two is Disneyland Park, so yes, the two most popular parks in North America are ALSO the most popular parks in the entire world, which is quite impressive. Weâd be shocked if it wasnât Disney. However, the third spot was taken by Universal, as itâs Universal Studios Japan, and Tokyo Disneyland at Tokyo Disney Resort isnât far behind, sitting in fourth place. Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disneyland 5th place goes to Shanghai Disney, so yes, the international parks are high on this list too, and for good reason. Have you seen their design? It blows our minds! Finally, in 6th place is Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, located in Hengqin, China, which is a marine-themed destination. It opened on March 29th, 2014, and is one of the worldâs largest ocean-themed parks. ©Shanghai Disney Resort Since the beginning of this month, weâve noticed higher crowds in EPCOT than we anticipated, even knowing about Halloween season and the festival. October is often a hit-or-miss month for crowds, seeing as the spooky season makes things pretty crowded, but not a ton of schools have fall breaks during the month, especially towards the latter half. However, while we were in the parks the other day, we did overhear a few families from the United Kingdom mention that their kids were on fall break, so that can also affect crowds. Wondering what all the fuss is about with Disney Lorcana? Weâve got you covered! We love Lorcana! From viral social media content to hours-long lines at Disney Springs for new releases, Disney Lorcana has been getting some serious hype recently. But if youâre not familiar with Lorcana and have tons of questions (maybe even starting with, âWhat is it??â), donât worry, weâre here to help! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. I asked a member of the DFB team whoâs a certified Lorcana superfan to break it down as simply as possible and answer the most common questions they get. Get ready, because itâs time for Disney Lorcana 101! What IS Disney Lorcana? Disney Lorcana is an official trading card game (TCG) made by Ravensburger in which players take on the role of âIllumineers,â powerful wizards who use magical ink to summon Disney characters known as glimmers. Lorcana Cards The game has a focus on deckbuilding and customization, with players building custom decks of at least 60 cards using up to two ink colors that they use for gameplay. The objective is to reach 20 lore (think of âloreâ as âpointsâ) before your opponents. So, Is It Like PokĂ©mon? Kind of! Itâs similar to other popular games like PokĂ©mon and Magic: The Gathering in a few ways â Lorcana is also a trading card game, there are different card rarities, and you get to battle other playersâ decks. Lorcana Card Decks But itâs definitely not identical! Thereâs also an overarching story at play in Lorcana, and the gameplay itself works differently than PokĂ©mon or Magic: The Gathering. How Do I Get Started With Lorcana? For someone brand-new to the game, the easiest way to get started is with the Lorcana Gateway Board Game Box. It includes everything you need as a newbie, and it literally feels like Disney is holding your hand and walking you through each step! ©Amazon Starting off with the Lorcana Gateway is super helpful since itâs so easy to follow the steps laid out in the game. The Ravensburger YouTube channel also has a walkthrough guide that breaks it down pretty simply as well! Get the Gateway Box on Amazon Do the Card Colors Matter? Yes! There are six different âink typesâ (AKA colors) that each card could potentially sport: amber, amethyst, emerald, ruby, sapphire, or steel. Our Lorcana cards! When you build a deck, youâre only allowed to use two ink types. Each one has strengths and weaknesses, so the idea is to strategize how you plan to win and make choices that support their strengths and cover their weaknesses! How Many Cards Do I Need? Your deck MUST HAVE at least 60 cards. You can go bigger than that as well, but that can be tricky if there are certain actions/characters/items, etc., that you want to increase your chance of pulling each round. Lorcana Cards In other words, 60 cards is the minimum, and from there, youâll have to weigh the risks and rewards to decide if you want to go bigger! Can I Have Duplicate Cards in My Deck? Yes, duplicate cards are allowed in your deck, but there is a maximum number of repeat cards allowed. Lorcana Cards Youâre only allowed a maximum of four of the same card in your deck. Is the Game Competitive? Yes, the main Lorcana game is competitive. But there are also cooperative sets that you can purchase to shake things up! The most recent cooperative game on the market is The Great Hunny Rescue. ©Amazon In The Great Hunny Rescue, you get to team up with other Lorcana players to take down the big baddieâŠ. The VINE! Get It On Amazon What Are the Rarity Levels of the Cards? Like we mentioned earlier, similar to PokĂ©mon, there are different rarity levels for each of the Lorcana cards. From most common to least common, the rarity levels are: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Enchanted, Epic, Iconic. Each Card Has a Rarity Level! If you find a Legendary card, youâve got a good pull. But if you hit Enchanted and above, youâre LIVING LARGE! How Can I Tell the Rarity of a Card? The rarity is indicated by a small symbol at the bottom middle of the card. The Symbol at the Bottom of the Cards Shows Their Rarity! For example, the gold pentagon at the bottom of the Goofy card in the above photo indicates the rarity is Legendary, and the silver square (partially under our thumb) on the Bolt card means Super Rare. Can I Get Into Lorcana Casually? Sure! The artwork on the cards is genuinely really cool, and some people might prefer collecting just for the neat Disney character art and the thrill of seeing which cards you pull. Disney Lorcana cards But if our experience is any indication⊠you will go into this thinking you will not get hooked. You will be wrong. Just look at our ever-expanding decks for the evidence! Weâll be on the lookout for future Lorcana news and upcoming drops, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates! View the full article

I will never forget walking into Tomorrowland and seeing an empty spot where Astro Orbiter used to be in Magic Kingdom. Well, maybe it wasnât what I saw, but what I didnât see, and that was the ENTIRE attraction. During a recent refurbishment of the spinning ride, they removed the entire thing from the top of the PeopleMover before returning it to its normal spot. It was weird. Magic Kingdomâs Tomorrowland Well, another refurbishment has been announced for Astro Orbiter, but luckily, this closure is much shorter than last time. Astro Orbiter will be closed from January 5th to 7th next year and will reopen on January 8th. Only three days this year! Thank goodness! In 2025, it was a six month refurbishment, so this is much smaller. Astro Orbiter Planned refurbishments are very common across Disney World attractions, and from most popular attractions to ones that never have a wait, they all need a little love every now and again to keep them running smoothly. Since the 2025 refurbishment was so long and thorough, weâre a little surprised itâs also going for another fix, but at least itâs only a few days. The ride originally opened in 1994 when Tomorrowland was going through an overhaul. When it was totally missing In Magic Kingdom, it feels like Tomorrowland is going through another overhaul. TRON Lightcycle / Run opened in 2023, and Buzz Lightyearâs Space Ranger Spin went through an 8-month refurbishment which started in August 2025. It reopened in April this year with new blasters, ride vehicles, and targets. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is BACK! The Carousel of Progress is now going under a major overhaul and is set to reopen in Spring 2027. Theyâre changing up all the scenes to new decades, and while fans were originally nervous about the changes, many have been speaking out about how excited they are for the update. Disney Imagineering has taken great care with the rideâs history, and weâre thrilled to see the new changes. ©Disney Now, if youâre in a total mood for spinning rides (which we understand), there are two more that you can check out while in Magic Kingdom. Dumbo the Flying Elephant is one of the most iconic and perfect for your childâs first ride and the best photos. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is another classic, and you can even catch Aladdin and Jasmine riding sometimes, which feels very magical. If youâre going to go through ALL the effort to get up early during your Disney World trip, you better do it RIGHT! Hollywood Boulevard at Hollywood Studios Hitting the parks early can make a huge difference in the success of your day, but if youâre going to take advantage of perks like Early Theme Park Entry, you need a legitimate strategy. And as part of our go-to strategy, thereâs one rule that we enforce for our Early Entry mornings! Early Theme Park Entry is a perk available to guests of Disney Resorts that allows you to enter the parks 30 minutes earlier than off-site guests. It applies to all four theme parks every day, and that head start for some of the rides and attractions can be a huge benefit. Youâve just got to use your time wisely! Cinderella Castle If you want to do Early Theme Park Entry during your visit, itâs imperative that you check the list of attractions available during that time for each park. For example, at Magic Kingdom, only Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open for early entry, so if you tried to go to Haunted Mansion at 8:30 AM (on a day that the park opens at 9 AM), you wouldnât be able to get in line or ride. Once you check the list of available rides, choose where youâre going first AHEAD of time. You donât want to be locked into decision paralysis when youâre already inside the park. Early Park Entry for Resort Guests The good news is that most folks are pretty good at that first part. They have a ride they want to prioritize and plan to visit it first thing when Early Theme Park Entry starts. Unfortunately, the decision paralysis often comes into play if you get through that initial attraction quickly and donât know where to go next. We call this the 8:45 AM problem. Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom Most of the year, three out of four of the Disney World parks open at 9 AM, which means Early Theme Park Entry starts at 8:30 AM. If youâre hoping to make the most of that time, you probably arrived well before 8:30, and then when Early Entry started, you were off to the races right away. Thatâll put you in the first few batches of folks on your chosen ride, but THEN what?! Early Theme Park Entry Weâve seen it happen time and time again that Early Theme Park Entry goes smoothly at first, and then around 8:45 AM, there are families and groups whoâve already completed their first choice and are hovering around trying to decide where to go next. But youâre wasting precious time if youâre putting yourself in this position! If you wait too long, the off-property guests will be let inside the park, and youâll lose the edge for getting into ride queues first. Early Entry into Disneyâs Hollywood Studios So, the solution here is to have an initial ride that you want to do for each park, likely the ride on your to-do list with the longest projected wait time (or one you donât have a Lightning Lane booked for), and then ALSO choose a second ride to head to once you finish the first. Even if you get in line for that second ride five minutes before the park opens for the day, that could make a massive difference in your wait time. Rock ânâ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets When looking at this strategy, itâs a good idea to choose rides that are physically near each other, so you donât waste time walking. For example, this could mean rope dropping Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios and then walking next door to Galaxyâs Edge to do Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Or this could look like knocking out Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom and then heading for Peter Panâs Flight. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train But hereâs the thing â if you hesitate, you could ruin this strategy completely. My family squandered our time a bit when we found out that Slinky Dog Dash was closed during our Early Theme Park Entry time in Hollywood Studios. We panicked and rode Alien Swirling Saucers instead and then wasted more minutes deciding what to do before heading to Smugglers Run. By the time we got there, the park was about to open, and the wait was up to 45 minutes, because the queue was full of three groups of folks: 1) those who chose to rope drop that ride, 2) those whoâd rope dropped Rise of the Resistance and headed there second, and 3) those whoâd seen Slinky Dog Dash was closed and chose the closest âbigâ ride nearby instead. We skipped out on riding, and by the time the park opened, the only thing we had to show for our waking up early was a ride on Alien Swirling Saucers. Alien Swirling Saucers When developing your early entry strategy, come up with a main (hopeful) plan, along with a backup plan or two. You never know when a ride might have a delayed opening or a weather-related closure. And if things go wrong, you can quickly pivot and use your backup plan. Donât get stuck with the 8:45 AM conundrum! EPCOT To see more rules we follow in Disney World to help make your trip better, check out the YouTube video below. Even entering the holiday season doesnât prevent closures at Disney World! All-Star Music Disney recently announced that a closure would be coming to a popular bar at Disneyâs All-Star Music Resort. With no official end date in sight, this could end up being a lengthy closure. Letâs take a look at the details that we know so far, so we can plan accordingly. Disney announced that from November 2nd, 2026, through early 2027, Singing Spirits Pool Bar at Disneyâs All-Star Music Resort will be closed for refurbishment. Disney hasnât shared a specific opening date, and we canât look for it ourselves, as the Disney World calendar doesnât go past December 2026 right now. Singing Spirits During this time of closure, Disney did share that a temporary pool bar will be available nearby. So, guests can still sit by the pool with a drink in hand and relax in the sun. Disney hasnât posted any details on the temporary bar as of right now, but we could be seeing something when the closure date hits next week. Singing Spirits Pool Bar If youâre traveling to Disney World this holiday season, and youâre staying at Disneyâs All-Star Music Resort, you may see or hear construction activity in the area during daytime hours while the work is underway. Disneyâs usually good at not being too much of a disturbance to guests, but they still will be working. Just something to be aware of. We love this bar! Itâs been a year of construction for Disney World, so this is a fitting end to 2026. From hotels to the parks, weâve been seeing closures, reopenings, and transformations throughout the year. With massive projects like Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom, and Piston Peak and Villains Land in Magic Kingdom still being worked on, the construction trend will continue next year. Although weâre super excited for everything thatâs on the way! When I went to Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time, I felt like I would never get everything done. From trying to get a spot for the fireworks, the parade, and that castle show, I canât forget meeting characters and special snacks, and ahhhhh, it was so much! Thereâs a lot to do during the party, and if you donât plan ahead, you might miss something you were really looking forward to. Once Upon a Christmastime Parade One way to plan ahead of time is to know all the available showtimes so you know what to prioritize and where to head first. Disney World just announced the showtimes for Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party, and hereâs everything you need to know! Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights from November 8th to December 22nd at Magic Kingdom and will require an additional ticket to enter. The ticket gets you access to exclusive entertainment, characters, and food! Nights are already selling out, so if you have your eye on a certain date, grab your tickets soon. Hereâs a look at all the showtimes: Mickeyâs Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party This parade is a fan favorite and where youâll see some of the most iconic characters of the party. Youâll see the Toy Soldiers and plenty of Disney characters along the route. Of course, Santa is also part of it, and it lasts about 25 minutes. You can catch it in a few different places in the park, including by Frontierland, which typically has fewer crowds, and closer to the castle and Main Street, U.S.A. It will run at 8:30 PM and 11 PM. Mickeyâs Most Merriest Celebration Mickeyâs Most Merriest Celebration This stage show is right in front of the castle! Youâll get to see Mickey and all the friends in their Christmas outfits. Thereâs some super fun music, and Clarabelle Cow sings âAll I Want for Christmas Is Youâ by Mariah Carey, which is pretty iconic if you ask us. You can watch it at 7:40 PM, 9:25 PM, 10:35 PM, and 11:55 PM. Youâll want to be toward the front of the castle to see everything. Minnieâs Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party This fireworks show plays only once a night at 10 PM, so you donât want to miss it! We think the best place to watch is in front of the castle so you can see all the projections and the fireworks above it, but you can also catch it from other locations like Fantasyland and Tomorrowland; just keep in mind you probably wonât see everything. Fireworks To catch everything, make sure youâre still prioritizing. Maybe you want to watch the fireworks in front of the castle but the parade from Frontierland so you donât have to line up as early. There are also multiple showtimes for the castle stage show and parade, but only one for the fireworks. You can see them all, but you might not have as much time for snacks, character meet-and-greets, and rides. Weâre going to be at Mickeyâs Very Merry Christmas Party for the very first night of 2026, sharing all the details you need to know to have the best visit ever and to make the most of your park ticket.
