  6. HOORAY! Things are still going strong at the 2026 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, as a few select Marketplace Food Booths are continuing to open just in time for plenty of October Festival fun, and among these is Earth Eats! 2026 Booth Earth Eats is one of four Marketplace Food Booths to complete the full lineup, along with The Alps , Coastal Eats, and India. So as we continue to bring you our full reviews of every single Food Booth at the Food and Wine Festival (and maybe even add to our Best of the Fest choices for 2026, depending on what we find!), we hope you’ll join us here to check out everything Earth Eats has to offer! Menu You’ll find Earth Eats in World Nature, steps away from The Land Pavilion. The culinary theme here, according to Disney, is “farm-grown goodness.” The returning Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib is joined on the menu by the new Lemon-Almond-Olive Oil Cake. 2026 Menu Minute Maid® Aguas Frescas is the non-alcoholic option on the beverage menu, while wine drinkers can choose the Harken Barrel Fermented Chardonnay. Let’s explore everything at Earth Eats! Eats The Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib is back again this year for $8.49. The short rib is cooked incredibly well. It wasn’t tough, it wasn’t dry, and it cut really easily. It’s plated with goat cheese polenta (which is what makes this dish an option for those participating in the Emile’s Fromage Montage cheese crawl), along with a tomato ragù, shaved pecorino cheese, and petit herbs. Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib The dish itself wasn’t watery or overly thick. It had a very pleasant, creamy texture, hitting the right notes. The goat cheese does come through here, and we really did appreciate the pecorino on top. You do have to be a big fan of capers, as there’s a ton of them on top, and the tomato sauce is not really sweet. Make sure you get bites with every component in them! Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib If you try the individual components by themselves, you won’t get the intended effect. This is a good dish — not a great dish, a good dish. It’s pretty hearty, but it does feel like fall, and we do appreciate all the flavor melting together. We honestly think there are a lot better options at the festival this year. Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib New to Earth Eats is the Lemon-Almond-Olive Oil Cake for $4.49. This is by far our favorite dish from this booth. The candied sugar slivered toasted almonds on the side are phenomenal and reminiscent of the almonds that were with the cake over in the Alps booth. They add a crunch, and they’re not overly sugared. They just are so delicious with the cake. Lemon-Almond-Olive Oil Cake The cake is light and has a very pleasant texture. It’s not a moist crumb, which is expected with an olive oil cake. The lemon curd is our favorite part of this with the almonds. It is so tart and perfect, and we absolutely love it. This is also one of the prettiest dishes we’ve seen at the festival, with the edible flowers on top. This is going to be a popular Instagram dessert. A whipped Greek yogurt panna cotta completes the dessert, which can be a surprise if you’re not prepared for the yogurt. This is a total hit for us! Lemon Almond Olive Oil Cake Onto the drinks! Drinks Even as we’re officially entering Orlando’s cooler season as the calendar has turned to October, you may still find yourself in need of a cooling refresher, and the Minute Maid® Aguas Frescas is up for grabs to help! The flavor of this non-alcoholic drink is Strawberry Hibiscus, and it costs $4.79. Minute Maid Aguas Frescas Strawberry Hibiscus The drink offers a light and refreshing strawberry flavor that comes through with light floral notes, but nothing that we would say most people would even pick up on. This is very kid-friendly. It reminds us of Kool-Aid or Hi-C. On a hot day, this would be a perfect little refreshing pick-me-up. It does seem to have a bit of sugar in it, but otherwise it’s not really a must-grab in our opinion. Minute Maid Aguas Frescas Strawberry Hibiscus If you’d like to imbibe, the Harken Barrel Fermented Chardonnay from Parlier, California is available for $6.50. OVERALL Overall, we do really like the cake here, and we think it’s definitely worth a try! Other than that, we don’t know if you need to be rushing over to this booth. Everything was good, but not special. The cake, however, was great! Earth Eats Thank you for joining us at Earth Eats! 7. There are some moments you know you’ll carry with you; this is one of them. As 50 students from the Central Florida area made their way down the purple carpet lined with community leaders and Disney VoluntEARS, you could see the excitement on their faces. It was more than a celebration. We had officially started the next chapter of the Disney Dreamers Academy! What is Disney Dreamers Academy? DDA launched in 2008 as a program dedicated to providing youth with the opportunity to learn how they can harness the power of their dreams. Since then, it has helped more than 1,800 students across the country build careers, lead communities, and mentor future Disney Dreamers. One of the things I enjoy most about Disney Dreamers Academy is how the experience can help a young person imagine new possibilities for their future. And, we wanted to find a way to bring that opportunity to even more students. A Look Inside this Next Chapter Which brings me to how we arrived here at the Walt Disney World Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. This year, Disney Dreamers Academy is building on its remarkable legacy by expanding the program in a new collaboration with Boys & Girls Clubs to reach more students earlier in their journey and keep them connected to the program longer. 200 middle school Club members from Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston will become the first Disney Dreamers to be a part of this year-round, multi-year pilot program. By working with Boys & Girls Clubs, we’re able to meet students where they are and provide meaningful experiences that can support their growth over time through a mix of virtual and in-person experiences in the communities where they live and at Disney. During the program, students will discover more about themselves, build new skills and confidence, explore different careers, and meet inspiring people. And, of course, they’ll experience Disney magic along the way and even visit Walt Disney World. So, join us on this next chapter as we head to the four metropolitan areas selected for this pilot program and celebrate the participants from each city. Four Cities, One Dream As we travel to the four locations, every Disney Dreamer will be invited to a kickoff celebration filled with Disney-inspired activity stations designed to match the theme parks at Walt Disney World. Each park includes activities that encourage students to discover new interests, express their creativity, connect with other students, and meet some of their favorite Disney pals. Orlando Disney Dreamers Kick Off the Celebrations From finding their Disney Dreamer Anthem to personalizing their very own pair of Mickey ears, it was an evening of endless joy with echoes of laughter filling the gymnasium at the Walt Disney World Clubhouse. “My favorite part of the night was when Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse came to celebrate with us,” said Carlota, a Disney Dreamer. “I feel honored to be here. I’m very happy and excited for everything this program has to offer me.” This is the latest milestone in a decades-long partnership between Disney and Boys & Girls Clubs. Together, we’ve helped create meaningful learning opportunities for Central Florida youth, including after-school programs and the Club’s Rock Star Robotics Center. Let the New Chapter Commence This event was only the beginning of an exciting new chapter! 8. The 2026 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival fun just keeps going! Select Marketplace Food Booths are continuing to open beyond the Festival’s August 27th kickoff, and now we’re taking a seaside stroll to Coastal Eats. 2026 booth Coastal Eats is one of four Marketplace Food Booths to complete the full lineup, along with The Alps, India, and Earth Eats. So as we continue to bring you our full reviews of every single Food Booth at the Food and Wine Festival (and maybe even add to our Best of the Fest choices for 2026, depending on what we find!), we hope you’ll join us here to check out everything Coastal Eats has to offer! Menu Seafood, of course, is the name of the game at Coastal Eats! The menu is small, but features two returning heavy-hitters: Crab Cake and the Seafood Pot Pie. 2026 menu The Boyd & Blair Pomegranate Codder returns as the booth’s cocktail, while wine drinkers may partake in a pour of Riley’s Lookout Sauvignon Blanc. Strap on your seafood-eating bib! It’s time to EAT… Eats The Crab Cake is back at Coastal Eats for $7.49. Though it’s a returning dish, it’s plated a bit differently each year. This year’s accompaniments are a tropical fruit chutney, mustard sauce, and micro celery. Crab Cake This crab cake features flavorful, high-quality crab, and it’s fried on the top and bottom for a satisfying crunch. The mustard sauce has a slight kick with some dry heat, but the sweet fruit chutney balances it out and adds a snappy texture. The portion size isn’t very big, but the flavor and quality make up for it. Crab Cake You can also sink your teeth into the Seafood Pot Pie for $7.49. This pie is packed with shrimp, scallops, and lobster bisque, all topped with puff pastry. Seafood Pot Pie The crust is super flaky and gives a satisfying crunch with every bite. The shrimp and scallops inside are tender and soak up the lobster bisque’s flavor well. The bisque itself is very salty with crunchy carrots and peas. It’s a super unique take on a lobster bisque! Seafood Pot Pie Drinks Say “Cheers!” with the Boyd & Blair Pomegranate Codder, which returns this year for $12.50. Boyd & Blair Pomegranate Codder We find it to be somewhat reminiscent of an Arnold Palmer, but with a prominent pomegranate flavor. It’s certainly refreshing on a pleasantly warm Florida day. Boyd & Blair Pomegranate Codder You may also opt for the Rileys Lookout Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand for $6.50. This sweet wine has a hint of tartness to it. While not particularly remarkable, it is an enjoyable drink. Rileys Lookout Sauvignon Blanc OVERALL If you’re a seafood lover, you can’t miss Coastal Eats on your next visit to the Food & Wine Festival. Both the Crab Cake and Seafood Pot Pie feature tasty, high-quality seafood with some fun flavors. The drinks might not be anything to write home about, but the food is the real hard-hitter! 10. The 2026 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is really hitting its stride now, friends! Select Marketplace Food Booths are continuing to open well after the Festival’s August 27th kickoff, and among these is the India Booth! 2026 India food booth India is one of four Marketplace Food Booths to complete the full lineup, along with The Alps, Coastal Eats, and Earth Eats. So as we continue to bring you our full reviews of every single Food Booth at the Food and Wine Festival (and maybe even add to our Best of the Fest choices for 2026, depending on what we find!), we hope you’ll join us here to check out everything the India Booth has to offer! Menu Two returning favorites make up the food menu at the India Booth: the Potato and Pea Samosas and Chicken Tikka Masala. 2026 India Booth Menu Drinks include the returning Mango Lassi (with or without Camikara 8 Year Old Cask Aged Rum), Sula Tropicale Brut Sparkling Wine, and United Breweries Taj Mahal Premium Lager. Let’s dig in! Eats The Potato and Pea Samosas ($5.49) with plant-based coriander-lime cream provide a plant-based option for Festival guests. This dish has been designated as one of 30 Food and Wine Festival Legacy Items for the milestone anniversary that the Festival is marking this year! These are some of the better plant-based options you can get at the festival. They’re very crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Potato and Pea Samosas You really get a lot of the potato flavor coming through, and it has a nice saltiness to it. We didn’t get much of the lime flavor from the coriander-lime cream, but it did add a touch of acidity. This is also a great portion size for the price. Samosas The popular Chicken Tikka Masala with fennel-spiced yogurt and naan bread is back, as well, for $6.49. It’s also recognized as a 30th Anniversary Legacy Item! The chicken in this dish is very tender, and the rice is cooked perfectly. The sauce adds some savoriness with a little bit of a kick. However, the yogurt tones down that kick and adds some nice creaminess. Chicken Tikka Masala The two little pieces of naan were stiff, but they weren’t stale, so they were perfect for dipping. This is another great portion size for the price, and yes, we’ll get it again! Drinks We’re starting our sips with the non-alcoholic Mango Lassi ($5.29). For $12.50, of-age guests can opt to try this with Camikara 8 Year Old Cask Aged Rum. This is one of those drinks we will always get. It’s sweet with a hint of saltiness, but the mango flavor is what really stands out. It’s sort of like a cross between a mango smoothie and a slushy, and that makes it PERFECT for a hot day. It’s light and refreshing. Mango Lassi The Sula Tropicale Brut Sparkling Wine returns for $7.50. Sula Brut Tropicale Sparkling Wine We always find this bit of bubbly to be fun, refreshing, and just sweet enough with a hint of fruitiness. It tends to pair beautifully with the spices used in the food items at the India Booth. Beer drinkers can try the United Breweries Taj Mahal Premium Lager, which returns for $6.00 for a 6-ounce pour, or $9.65 for a 12-ounce pour. OVERALL As always, the India booth has pretty much knocked it out of the park. You can’t go wrong with any of the food items here, but if you’re on a plant-based diet, the Samosas are one of the best options at the festival. The mango lassi is also a great drink for a hot day, and we like that you can add booze to it if you want a little bit more kick. Overall, this booth nailed it again this year. 11. If you thought you had seen everything at the 2026 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, think again. Because select Marketplace Food Booths are continuing to open well after the Festival’s August 27th kickoff, and among them is The Alps! Welcome to the Alps! We imagine many of you are as excited as we are to welcome The Alps back to the Food and Wine Festival at long last. You see, this returning booth is particularly beloved for its famous Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese. BUT there’s been a change to this fan-favorite dish this year… and that’s not the only thing in store. So we’re here to bring you our full review so we can let you know how things are faring at The Alps this year! Menu The Alps takes festival-goers on a culinary tour of Swiss-inspired dishes, featuring two returning favorites: the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese on a Baguette and the Kirschwasser Torte. The savory Tartiflette is new this year. The menu! Guests may pair their dishes with The Alps’ Wine Flight, which presents three Austrian wines: Salomon Undhof Stein Kremstal DAC Riesling, Loimer Lois Grüner Veltliner, and Schlumberger Klassik Brut. Each of these may also be purchased individually. Let’s taste everything The Alps has to offer! Eats Our first thought when Disney announced the menu for The Alps this year was that the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese on a Baguette with Jambon and Apple-Mustard Relish ($6.79) might be a bit controversial. While it is technically a returning item, it is one of 30 items at the Festival that have been designated a 30th Anniversary Legacy Item in honor of the Festival’s big milestone. Several of these legacy items have been “reimagined” for this year, including the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese — if you’re unfamiliar, you can check out the usual presentation here, typically plated with baby potatoes, and with or without Alpine Ham. Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese and Alpine Ham from 2025 This year, the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese is served on a baguette with jambon (ham) and apple-mustard relish. And if you’re participating in the Emile’s Fromage Montage Cheese Crawl, you’ll want to know that this is one of your choices. Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese on a Baguette with Jambon and Apple-Mustard Relish This is visually striking, and Disney even had the full wheels of authentic raclette cheese in the booth where they were making this! It’s a hearty and nutty cheese with seriously robust flavors, and it pairs beautifully with the shaved meat and apple flavors. The baguette was crunchy and offered a nice crunch, which made it nice and hearty despite being a smaller portion. The cheese, bread, and strong flavors make this small bite easily shareable. SO cheesy! The cheese might be a bit much for some to enjoy only because it oozes out when you bite into it, but we can appreciate a little too much cheese at times. Despite the amount of cheese, the other elements of the dish were still able to shine through. The apple relish was refreshing and light, with a slightly acidic and tart flavor. The dish really benefited from the relish, and we were quite pleased with the balance it provided. It’s literally oozing out! The Tartiflette is new this year! This dish is comprised of potatoes gratin, caramelized onions, bacon, thyme, crème fraîche, and brie cheese. It’s $5.49 and is also an option for those participating in Emile’s Fromage Montage Cheese Crawl. The Tartiflette The potatoes were perfectly cooked in this dish! They were slightly firm when we bit into them but not undercooked. The crème fraîche and brie cheese made them creamy, soft, and almost luxurious. The creamy feeling was pleasant and balanced well with the hearty potatoes without being overly cheesy. The flavors melted together, and the onion sealed the deal. The onions fill your nose in each bite, but they don’t overpower the dish. Look at that cream! This was easily our favorite of the items we tried at the booth. The Kirschwasser Torte made its debut last year. Kirschwasser Torte It’s layered with cherry-brandy buttercream and fondant, and garnished with sugared almonds and cherry compote for $5.49. This dessert was a home run! The layers of thin cake had a nice crumb, moist texture without being too soft or falling apart. Each layer of cake was separated by a layer of cherry buttercream with made each bite very pleasant. The fondant icing on the outside was a welcome addition, especially thanks to the crunchy toasted silvered almonds. SO pretty! The best bites were the ones that had a bit of each layer, plus the fondant, and a touch of the cherry compote. The cherry compote added a nice tart flavor to help balance the sweet cake and buttercream flavors. Each bite with the compote made us want to dive back in for more! Have a bite! Drinks To sip, The Alps features a Wine Flight ($8.50) of three Austrian wines: Salomon Undhof Stein Kremstal DAC Riesling (from Stein an der Donau), Loimer Lois Grüner Veltliner (from Niederösterreich), and Schlumberger Klassik Brut (from Weinviertel). You can try any of these individually as well, and you will see the prices per pour below. The wine flight! First up is the Salomon Undhof Stein Kremstal DAC Riesling, which you can try individually for $7.50. The Undhof Stein Kremstal DAC Riesling The Loimer Lois Grüner Veltliner is available as an individual pour for $6.50. The Loimer Lois Grüner Veltliner Finally, the Schlumberger Klassik Brut can be tried on its own for $7.75. Schlumberger Klassik Bru Each of the wines was quite dry, which was appreciated by our reporter! The Riesling has a light, fresh aftertaste and it was slightly apple-forward. Aside from that, each wine didn’t offer notable differences. Each wine was light and refreshing, but not memorable because they were so similar. OVERALL The booth offers some tasty, yet familiar flavors that continue to wow us each year! 12. Guten tag! If you’ve ever found yourself daydreaming about the delightful flavors of EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion after a well-deserved Disney World vacation, you’re not alone. In between bites of bratwurst doused with sauerkraut and refreshing sips of ice-cold German beer, this charming corner of EPCOT has become well-known for its hearty cuisine, refreshing brews, and lively traditions. It’s also the place to celebrate Oktoberfest at Disney World, with several locations offering year-round, savory flavors and German pours that will transport you straight to the heart of Bavaria. This year, Germany’s beloved Schinkennudeln dish is back as part of Emile’s Fromage Montage during the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. In honor of this fan-favorite festival’s 30th anniversary, this cheesy pasta dish is one of 30 items that have returned or been reimagined from years past, giving you another chance to enjoy a longtime EPCOT classic. Pair this with a German beer, save room for apple strudel, and you’ll have a tasting experience that will blow your mind. If you’re ready to recreate this favorite plate at home, get ready to grab your ingredients and take a look at the recipe below. Schinkennudeln Recipe Makes 8-10 servings Ingredients 2 cups heavy cream 2 eggs 1/4 teaspoon salt Pinch of ground white pepper Pinch of nutmeg 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded 1 pound cooked elbow macaroni Optional 2 cups diced ham Directions Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 16- x 9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Whisk together cream, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Toss cheeses together in a small bowl until combined; remove 1 cup cheese and set aside. Stir remaining cheeses into cream mixture. Cook macaroni until just tender; drain and add cream mixture, stirring immediately. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle reserved cheese over top of noodles. Bake 15 minutes longer. Cool 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm. To add protein to this dish, add 2 cups of diced ham to the macaroni mixture before baking. Germany has long been one of my favorite culinary corners around World Showcase, especially when grabbing a bite to eat and just enjoying the atmosphere and ambience in this special area of the park. If you are making this delightful dish at home during this year’s Oktoberfest, be sure to share your culinary creations with #DisneyEats. 14. One of our favorite bars in Disney World just got a NEW drink, but you need to know a secret password to get it! Look at this! La Cava del Tequila, located in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT, just dropped a new drink and, of course, we’re going to try it and take you along with us — so, let’s go! The new drink offering is the La Ofrenda Margarita, but it’s only here for a limited time. The drink is available starting today and will be available through the first week of November. What’s fun about this one is that you need a secret password in order to order the drink, which is “Rest in Peace”. La Ofrenda Margarita The drink contains Bozal Cempasúchil Mezcal, Dos Hombres Reposado, and Weber Ranch Vodka, with tart pitaya fruit and a touch of pumpkin spice. It was excellent and pretty sweet. It went down really smoothly and didn’t have the burn that we expected it to. We couldn’t really taste the pumpkin spice, but the other flavors are very delicious, especially the Pitaya. We would definitely try this again! You need to try this! La Cava is also home to over 200 tequilas and unique margaritas, as well as a few appetizing ‘tapas-style’ snacks. It’s a fan favorite place to grab a drink, whether you’re drinking around the world or not. Some of their most popular drinks include the Avocado Margarita for $21. This is made with Dos Hombres mezcal or Flecha Azul tequila, melon-orange liqueur, fresh avocado, lime juice, and a hibiscus salt rim. The Avocado Margarita Another favorite is the Cucumber Margarita for $19, which is made with Tromba blanco tequila, fresh cucumber and lime juice, Abasolo corn whiskey, and a Tajín chile-lime powder rim. You can also make it spicy for $2 more! The Cucumber Margarita If you’re visiting EPCOT any time soon and are interested in trying this drink, be sure to grab it because it’s only here for a limited time! 15. This small Disney World hotel addition is a seriously HUGE deal for us! Animal Kingdom Lodge When we stay at a Disney World hotel, there are some things we count on looking forward to each time, from ultra-detailed theming to on-site perks. Now, don’t get us wrong, those things are still awesome. But on our recent stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, the thing that thrilled us the MOST was a seemingly tiny addition in our hotel bathroom! Animal Kingdom Lodge has TONS of major selling points, like the incredible dining options, gorgeous decor, and, of course, those breathtaking savanna views, complete with live animals! Animal Kingdom Lodge And in between marveling at all of the regular hotel features, on our recent stay, we also noticed that our hotel bathroom now came equipped with BOTH bar soap and pump soap! As lots of longtime Disney World visitors have been painfully aware, for a loooooong stretch of time, Disney World hotel rooms only had bar hand soap. Ya know, sometimes it’s the little things that make a HUGE difference in our experience, so we were THRILLED to see this change…and we weren’t the only ones! Pump soap AND bar soap! We shared a post about the soap update on Instagram, and we got TONS of comments from people equally excited about the change, like @j0ooyyyy, who said, “I used to pack my own pump soap lmao.” No more need to pack your own! Seriously, SO many people chimed in sharing their excitement, like @michelaine22, who said, “I am so grateful for the pump soap! I hate the bars!” It just goes to show that the magic really does come from the details! Welcome, pump soap, we’re THRILLED you’re here! Some people also commented to share that they stayed at other Disney World hotels recently that also had BOTH pump and bar soap, including Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, so it seems like Animal Kingdom Lodge definitely isn’t the only one that’s been treated to the upgrade! Caribbean Beach Resort There are soooo many big changes happening around the Disney World hotels, from LOTS of ongoing construction and resort refurbishments… Grand Floridian Monorail station construction …to the new Hurly-Burly lounge that JUST opened in the old Jellyrolls building on October 1st… Hurly-Burly …to the brand-new Disney Vacation Club hotel Lakeshore Lodge, opening in 2027! Lakeshore Lodge And yes, even with all these HUGE updates happening around the hotels, we still stand by our statement that the addition of pump soap IS that big of a deal!! (And the Instagram comments agree…) We’re constantly on the lookout for changes and new additions all around Disney World, so stick with us at DFB for the latest news! 16. Disney fans have a reason to head to ALDI next week…11 reasons, in fact! ALDI has the best finds! On October 7th, ALDI is going to have 11 Disney finds that are perfect for your little ones. From costumes to craft books, you’re going to want to check these out. Not to mention, we can find good reasons why you’ll want these for a Disney World vacation this month. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Starting on October 7th, you’ll be able to grab these Ghost Spider costume pieces, including a mask and a cape. We’re seriously stunned at the price these are listed at, and the costumes don’t stop there. ©ALDI Of course, you can’t have Ghost Spider and not Spider-Man! Spider-Man has always been one of the most, if not the most, popular superheroes in the world. After Spider-Man: Brand New Day came out this year, we’re imagining a lot of kiddos will be dressing up as him this year. ©ALDI There are more costume pieces coming to ALDI, including the Hulk and Miles Morales. We’re thinking all of these would make for great costumes to bring to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. They’re very cheap, they don’t come with many pieces, making them easy to pack, and they’re easy to remove if your kiddo doesn’t want to wear them at the party anymore. ©ALDI Get Marvel Costumes on Amazon ©Amazon If you don’t have an ALDI near you, you can order this Marvel Spider-Man Youth Cape Set! They’re just like the costumes coming to ALDI, but this set comes with Ghost Spider, Venom, Spider-Man, and Miles Morales. They also have different masks than the ALDI costumes. The set is currently 7% off, and it’s a great price for four outfits! view ON AMAZON Some other fun Disney finds coming to ALDI are these Magic Ink Books. You can get Hello Kitty and Paw Patrol themes, but our eyes are on Mickey and Friends, as well as Stitch. They’re all Halloween-themed, so they fit the vibe of the season. ©ALDI There are a couple more we really liked, including this Beetlejuice one and this Bluey one. You know we’re suckers for Bluey, so we thought the one with the Heelers in their Halloween costumes was adorable. ©ALDI There’s this Magic Ink Book as well! ©Amazon If ALDI isn’t an option for you, you can grab this Nightmare Before Christmas Imagine Ink Coloring Book! It doesn’t get more Halloween than the classic Tim Burton film. The book comes with 16 pages, and while it’s not as cheap as the ALDI options, it’s still a GREAT price! view ON AMAZON We’re always on the hunt for what’s coming to ALDI, so make sure to follow us at the Disney Food Blog for even more finds! 17. Every day, there’s a ton of Disney news that ends up all over the Internet, and it’s honestly often hard to discern what’s real, what’s speculation, and what’s just a rumor. There are SO many sites covering Disney news, too, that sometimes you don’t know who to trust. But you can trust us because we make sure we’re doing everything we can to give you the REAL news and honest facts. ©Disney Well, this week, some Disney rumors started hitting the Internet, and although some seem like they may be true, they’re not, while others are oversimplifying more complex announcements. So let’s take a look at what we’ve heard this week and figure out what’s what. Matterhorn to be torn down and rebuilt? FAKE We’re starting with the wildest thing we heard about this week. A rumor is spreading that Disneyland’s Matterhorn Bobsleds will be completely torn down and relocated as part of the Tomorrowland update project. Disney has confirmed that Tomorrowland will be reimagined, but the Matterhorn bit? Well, that’s just pretty much a rumor that someone came up with because the new version of Tomorrowland might need more space, and the Matterhorn is in the way. Matterhorn Bobsleds Now, some have previously speculated that Matterhorn needs some kind of SOMETHING to make it smoother, as it is one of the roughest rides in Disneyland. But completely tearing it down to rebuild it? That seems like a bit MUCH, even given the budget Disneyland has for new lands and upgrades. A refurbishment might happen at some point. But completely moving the ride? Well, it’s not likely. But then again, we also thought Disney would never fix the Yeti on Expedition Everest, and here we are. Stranger things have happened. Disney shutting down Expedition Everest? REAL (Sort Of) Yes, there was a reason we just mentioned Expedition Everest because there is a rumor that the ride will be shutting down after 20 years. So here’s the thing: yes, Disney did say that it was fixing the Yeti on the ride, and from what we’ve learned about the technical issues that might revolve around fixing that animatronic, the ride will need to close…and it could be a pretty long closure. Expedition Everest So, technically, this is true, but not in the sense the initial rumor suggested. Expedition Everest will close, but it will reopen later with a brand new and (hopefully) working Yeti animatronic. Disney has not confirmed when the ride’s closure will take place, but we might guess it will happen after Pueblo Esperanza, the new land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, opens in 2027. Disney is buying Bluey? TBD So another rumor we’ve seen circulating is that Disney will be buying the rights to Bluey. Now, Disney has already collaborated with Ludo Studio to bring Bluey to the parks, but this rumor popped up after Dana Walden, Disney’s president and chief creative officer, said she “would offer a lot of money” to Bluey’s creator, Joe Brumm, according to Bloomberg. Bluey in Disney’s Animal Kingdom However, the full quote was more about Disney’s current relationship with the BBC, Bluey’s producer. What she said was this: “We have a great relationship with the BBC. We have been able to make great sense of this partnership, and Joe Brumm, who I would offer a lot of money to. He’s extraordinary and I will not let him get further off the Disney lot than he is currently.” However, that’s all that’s been said, and there’s nothing coming from Disney stating that buying Bluey is actually in the works. Star Wars X, the next Skywalker Saga? TBD Now the rumor about a new trilogy in the Skywalker Saga is a bit more complex than just the fact that a new Skywalker Saga is on the way. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Watts, who directed the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies, is attached to direct the first installment of a new Star Wars trilogy written by Simon Kinberg. ©Disney So here’s what we know: in 2023, Disney announced a Star Wars movie directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy that would bring back Daisy Ridley as Rey. That film was supposed to pick up after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. However, if this is that same movie, a lot of the details have changed, including the director. Star Wars X, as folks are now calling it, is reportedly the next chapter in the Skywalker Saga, which means Rey could still appear in it. Now, here’s the thing: Lucasfilm has not confirmed a Star Wars X movie or trilogy, and nothing has been greenlit by Disney. We’ll be on the lookout for more Disney rumors and keep you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 18. A brand-new restaurant has opened at Disney World, and we think it’ll be popular! We’re ready to EAT! Hurly-Burly at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has replaced the former Jellyrolls building and brings new eats, drinks, and entertainment. We’ve been waiting and waiting for this space to come back to life, and we’re taking you with us to check out the new building and everything it has to offer. Atmosphere You can find Hurly-Burly on Disney’s BoardWalk, which means it’s only a few steps away from EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance. You can park at EPCOT and walk through the park to the entrance if you have an EPCOT ticket, or park at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and use the Skyliner to the International Gateway. Other options include walking over from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and walking or taking the boat from The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. Hurly-Burly The setup for Hurly-Burly is a little different than we’ve seen with other Disney restaurants. The restaurant is welcoming the entire family, including kids, from opening until 9 PM. After 9 PM, though, guests must be 21 or older and have a valid ID to enter. During the day, a host will lead games and activities (we got to see trivia that was pretty hard!), and at night, the Hurly-Burly will come alive with musical acts taking the stage, with genres changing nightly. Inside Hurly-Burly Everything has a bit of a coastal flair with the 1920s vibes. When we arrived early in the day, it was raining pretty hard, so there were usually only about one or two groups waiting to be seated. Even when the rain died down, people were trickling in, so crowds didn’t seem too intense. However, around 5 PM, the waitlist on the My Disney Experience App was full, and if you came in person and waited to get a text from the host, your wait time was about an hour. Nighttime entertainment The same was the case when we stopped by again right before 9 PM, so it certainly seems like the late afternoon and evening hours are the most popular right now. If you’re trying to get a reservation on the day of (instead of booking in advance), we recommend stopping by at least an hour early to get your name on the list. However, we did have an interesting experience that we’re partly assuming may be the fact that we were a party of one — when we put our name on the list at 8:28 PM, we were told our wait time would be an hour. So, imagine our surprise when we got a text in the SAME minute saying that our table was ready! Our text! Enough about the space, let’s see what’s on the menu! Menu The Hurly-Burly menu blends coastal 1920s flavors and styles with Small Bites, with options like Antipasto, Tomato Pie, and Mini Pretzels. Menu! You can also grab multiple Beer options, as well as Wines, Cocktails, and some Mocktail options for those who don’t drink. Menu at the bar outside Now that we know what’s on the menu, we’re starving, so let’s eat! Eats We took it upon ourselves to try nearly the WHOLE menu to bring you our full thoughts, so get ready! We dug into the Tomato Pie first, which is made with Focaccia, tomato sauce, oregano, and Pecorino Romano for $11. Tomato Pie This is a very simple dish but well executed! The tomato sauce isn’t overly sweet, and there’s just enough Parmesan and herbs to bring some balance. The bread itself is so pillowy and soft, which we adored. Now, we don’t think this will be a hit with everyone, since there may be some who don’t understand it. It isn’t a pie in any sense of the word, but it is a very tasty bar snack to go with your cocktails. We do feel it’s a little pricey for 4-ounce pieces of bread topped with tomato sauce, but if you’re looking for something simple yet delicious, we’d recommend it! Simple, yet delicious! We also got to try the Vegan Tomato Pie later in the night, which is also $11. This was just as delicious as when we had it the first time, and we’re so glad there’s a vegan version available! Again, some people may not like that it’s called a pie and certainly isn’t a pie in the slightest, but the focaccia was still soft and pillowy, and we felt the flavors still blended well together. Vegan Tomato Pie The Oven-Roasted Shrimp is served with garlic, herbs, and sweet pepper-onion relish and will cost you $19. Oven-Roasted Shrimp These were one of our favorite bites of the night! The shrimp are so well cooked, seeing as they have a pleasant bite to them and aren’t mushy at all, and there’s a beautiful acidic flavor coming from the onion pepper relish. These taste really fresh and light and full of herbaceous flavor. We appreciate that these are butterflied, and it’s clear they’re prepared with a lot of care. Amazing! The Antipasto on the menu will cost you $21 and is made of sliced meats, Burrata, Pecorino Romano, and marinated vegetables. This is very well put together — the burrata is so smooth and creamy, and the balsamic that tops it brings a nice acidic balance to the super creamy, rich texture. Our favorite bite on the plate was the burrata with the crostini, because the crunch of the grilled bread was the perfect pairing. The mortadella with pistachios was our second favorite. The meat is super rich, and having the flavor of pistachio adds a great balance. It’s pretty costly, though, so we can easily see how it won’t be for everyone. Antipasto The Mini Pretzels with Bacon-Cheese Fondue will cost you $12. These are the same pretzels you’ll find in many other bars and lounges, so they’re not anything super special. The texture is good with the right amount of salt, but these seem to be the most boring selection on the menu. The beer cheese sauce is the star here as it’s super flavorful and topped with chopped scallions. If you really love pretzels, it may be for you, but otherwise, we feel there are better options out there. Mini Pretzels with Bacon-Cheese Fondue The Meatballs in Tomato Gravy are $15 and are veal, pork, and beef meatballs with tomato gravy, stracciatella cheese, Pecorino Romano, and toasted focaccia. Meatballs in Tomato Gravy These are tasty and mild enough for all members of your party. We feel that kids will find comfort in the classic meatballs, and the bread is a great pairing, especially since you can use it to dip into the remainder of the sauce afterwards. These meatballs are fresh and tender instead of tasting like they were frozen and reheated. The sauce is extremely mild with a slight sweet aftertaste, so you can consider us fans! A really great pairing This also comes in a vegan version! The Vegan Meatballs in Tomato Gravy are also $15 and were so incredibly solid. The meatballs were delicious and almost frighteningly realistic. They were so well seasoned and moist, and the sauce was so delicious that they tasted authentically meaty. Of course, they were completely vegan, and we appreciate them providing this alternative. They’re served with the same crostini on the side, and we loved it just as much as we did the first time around. Vegan Meatballs in Tomato Gravy Theater Concessions will cost you $12, and this is a trio of meatballs, sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn. This is like it was designed for the kids! It’s simple in the best way. Will it knock your socks off? No, definitely not, but the meatballs are fresh, the cookie was soft and delicious, and who doesn’t love popcorn? Theater Concessions The Roast Beef Sliders are also available for $17, and these are shaved roast beef and horseradish-mustard sour cream on slider rolls. Roast Beef Sliders This is another one of our favorite items here. The bun is soft, and the roast beef is easy to bite through. Not to mention, it’s a pleasant pink color, whereas we find a lot of roast beef to be a more unappetizing gray. The biggest surprise here is that there are caramelized onions on this, so keep that in mind when you order, since it’s not listed on the menu! We’d absolutely get these again, though we would personally ask for an additional side of that horseradish-mustard sour cream. So good! Finally, the Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts are $11, and these are served with miso-caramel sauce. Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts These looked a little underwhelming to us at first, but we were pleasantly surprised! You can actually taste the apple cider, which isn’t the case for a lot of apple cider treats. Are they the best donuts we’ve ever had? Well, no, but on an otherwise savory menu, they’re a really nice sweet option. We love this caramel sauce! We think the miso caramel sauce was an incredible addition, because the miso helps cut down on the sweetness, so it wasn’t too overpowering. They’re nothing to write home about, but they’re solid if you want something sweet! Drinks We decided to snag one of the mocktails on the menu, the Cherry Marquee! This is Minute Maid Premium Lemonade blended with Amarena cherries and garnished with a gourmet cherry, and it will cost you $6.49. This was a really pleasant nonalcoholic offering that didn’t go over the top with syrupy sweetness. Somehow, adding cherry to Minute Maid Premium Lemonade didn’t push it into Jolly Rancher territory. That’s why “pleasant” feels like a revolutionary word here. It’s definitely sweet, but it’s completely drinkable. An adult who isn’t drinking alcohol could have more than one without feeling like they’d have a horrible sugar hangover in the morning. Cherry Marquee We also grabbed the Caramel Corn Old Fashioned for $21. This is made with Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon, caramel corn, and The Bitter Truth Decanter Bitters. Caramel Corn Old Fashioned This has the classic flavors of an Old Fashioned, but it’s not overly sweet. This is a very smooth cocktail with no burn, and we loved the caramel corn that comes on the side. It tastes like it might be house-made — it’s the perfect caramel corn, sweet and crunchy without being too much. A really solid drink! We’re not totally sure the flavors go perfectly together, so we found ourselves spacing out munching on the caramel corn with taking sips of the drink, but overall, we’re fans of this drink! Nosh or Not You should head to Hurly-Burly if… You’re looking for a fun, themed bar with lots of space. This is a big space with a lot of seating. It’s very well decorated, and the story and theming feel very at home with the BoardWalk. The best part of the theme is the bulletin board by the bathrooms. There are tons of “old papers” from Polly’s dressing room, including letters and notes to other boardwalk characters, and 1930s ads for other BoardWalk spots. You need a late-night bite. This spot is open until 1 AM, so if you’ve just left an After Hours event in the parks, or you’ve participated in Extended Evening Hours and want to stop somewhere to eat, this is a great choice if your party is 21+. You want an outdoor bar with an amazing view. To us, the outdoor part of the bar is literally a stroke of genius. The vibe is not Pleasure Island or Atlantic Dance Hall. It’s not a rager. You’re sitting down in the newest environment in Walt Disney World, and it’s really beautiful. It uses the original space ingeniously and transports you to another place. Even though it’s set in current times, it feels like it takes you to a different time, too. There’s a disorienting onslaught of music, switching rapid-fire through decades and centuries, that makes you forget what year it is, if only for a moment. You might want to skip if… You want a genuine nightlife experience. We definitely think this is the final true blow to anything resembling true nightlife in Disney World. The tables are too close together that there’s nowhere to dance or stand with your drink and chat. It’s very much a seated lounge, like the many others you’ll find around Disney World. You’re not a fan of live entertainment or live music. During the day, you’ll find activities like trivia happening in a 30 minutes on/30 minutes off situation, and each night, you’ll get to hear amazing live music by numerous different groups, such as the Siren Sisters, who we got to see during our visit (and they were fantastic!). If you’re looking for a lounge where you can easily talk with your group without having to raise your voice, though, this may not be for you. You’ve got really picky people in your group, kids or adults. While the menu here does have some options that are good for pickier eaters, it’s not the most expansive. Overall We’re really big fans of this new spot, that’s for sure! We can see this place becoming very popular once people understand what it is, so we’ve put it all together in just a few sentences to try and relay how awesome it really is. You’re coming to a Disney World lounge with live music. There’s no time limit and no drink minimum or maximum. They have a full bar, so you can order whatever you want, but they also have fun signature cocktails and a small bites menu, some of which are cooked in the kitchen over at Trattoria al Forno, which is part of why it’s as delicious as it is. Hurly-Burly We feel especially that this spot is a massive upgrade in terms of environment, especially with how much story has been added to the venue. The outdoor bar is worth its weight in gold! The fact that you can come and sit outside without having to do the walk up list is such a great touch and seems immediately popular. The fact that it’s open till 1 AM gives night owls a place to eat and drink in Disney World too, which is rare around the resort. The outdoor bar is everything to us! We’re still dreaming about our experience at Hurly-Burly and already planning our next visit, but in the meantime, keep following Disney Food Blog for more food reviews you need to know for your next Disney World vacation. 19. We talk about dining reservations a lot here at DFB, but there are plenty of other offerings that you can reserve in advance in Disney World, and one of them has to do with getting a haircut. YES! You can really get your hair cut in the Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom at Disney World When you’re 60 days out from your trip, you can also reserve a variety of behind-the-scenes tours, book your appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or get a time slot to go build a lightsaber or droid in Galaxy’s Edge. But one of the most popular reservations that goes FAST is Harmony Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom. Harmony Barber Shop is located on Main Street, U.S.A. in the Town Square area near the front of the park. It’s tucked away behind The Emporium, and many folks walk right past it when they’re entering Magic Kingdom. But for lots of Disney fans, it’s a tradition to get a haircut here! Harmony Barber Shop The barber shop typically operates from 9 AM to 4:45 PM each day, and you can get reservations throughout that window. They offer child haircuts, adult haircuts, beard trims, and of course, the ever-popular first haircut package! I recently got the chance to take my son to get his first haircut there, and I managed to do it WITHOUT a reservation. ©Disney Before my trip, I made my dining reservations on time, but I didn’t think about the possibility of getting my son’s hair cut until we were a few weeks out from the trip and his bangs were starting to tickle his nose. When I checked at that time, reservations were all gone, and I nearly gave up hope. However, on the day of my visit, I entered the park at 8:15 AM to do Early Theme Park Entry (which started at 8:30 AM) and found that the barber shop seemed to be open. Harmony Barber Shop Cast Member When I stepped inside, the Cast Members greeted me cheerfully and told me they were, indeed, open! I asked about walk-up availability throughout the day, and they told me that it could vary, but the best time to get a haircut was RIGHT THEN. We were the first customers of the day, and there was no wait, considering it wasn’t even time for the reservations to start. The whole haircut process took ten minutes, and we were done before Early Entry even began! Harmony Barber Shop During the first haircut process, they had my son sit on my lap, and the Cast Member entertained him with light-up toys and stickers. They wet his hair a little bit (they don’t do shampoo for any of the cuts here, so you’ll need to arrive with clean, dry hair) and snipped away to trim those extra-long pieces. They followed my hairstyle requests exactly and even wrapped up his first-snipped hairs in a piece of tissue paper for me to take home! Ready to cut some hair! Perhaps the cutest part of the process is the gift you get. You’ll leave with a first haircut certificate with your child’s name and a pair of classic Mickey ears that have “My 1st Haircut” embroidered on the back. The little hairs went inside a drawstring bag, and we got a Mickey Mouse sticker as well. SO STINKIN’ CUTE and only $28! First Haircut This was an incredible experience that I definitely won’t forget, and it was made even better by the fact that it didn’t eat up any of our park day! So, if you’re hoping to squeeze in a haircut, try going first thing in the morning to save some time. I highly recommend it! Stay tuned to DFB for more tips for Disney World. 21. An upcoming fireworks change could impact your future Magic Kingdom plans! Happily Ever After If catching Happily Ever After is on your Magic Kingdom to-do list this fall, you’ll want to double-check your plans. Starting next week, there’s a shift in the time of the beloved fireworks show, and you’ll want to take note! Happily Ever After is the nighttime fireworks show in Magic Kingdom, complete with lights, lasers, and projection effects. It takes place most evenings (although it may not be performed if the park is scheduled to close early for a special event that day), and the showtime typically fluctuates throughout different times of the year depending on daylight hours and park operating hours. Happily Ever After Beginning October 5th, Happily Ever After will start at 9 PM on nights when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not taking place. That schedule will continue throughout October, so if you’re visiting on a non-party night, plan to be in position a bit earlier than you might have expected. This change doesn’t affect party nights, so if you’re attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, your party-night plans stay the same. Just be sure you know which kind of night you’re visiting on before you map out your evening. Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise View Then, starting November 1st, Happily Ever After will move to an 8 PM start time. That earlier showtime could be a win for families with little ones who struggle to stay up late, and it may leave some extra time after the show for one more ride or one last treat before heading back to your hotel. Happily Ever After With either change, it’s a good idea to revisit any dinner reservations you’ve booked near the fireworks. A later dinner that worked for your original plan might now overlap with the show, and you don’t want to be halfway through your entrée when the first burst lights up the sky. It’s also a smart move to grab your snacks before you stake out your viewing spot, since the crowds around Main Street, U.S.A. can make it tough to get around once people start settling in. Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom To sum it up, Happily Ever After moves to 9 PM on non-party nights starting October 5th, then shifts to 8 PM beginning November 1st. Keep these times in mind as you plan your evenings at Magic Kingdom this fall, and stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news, updates, and all the latest eats from around the parks! 25. The wait is FINALLY OVER! Disney’s BoardWalk has officially welcomed a NEW lounge, and we couldn’t wait to stop by! The Hurly-Burly! The BoardWalk has been undergoing a massive change, adding new shopping, dining, and entertainment locations! Among those changes is a brand-new lounge called Hurly-Burly, which we were most excited about. Now, we finally got the chance to check it out, and we’re bringing you inside with us! Ever since the popular dueling piano bar Jellyrolls closed, we have been WAITING for its replacement. The time has finally come, as Hurly-Burly is officially open. Disney describes the lounge as a place where you can “step inside this historic seaside theater, once the home of the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers. Now, nearly a hundred years later, Hurly-Burly is opening its doors once again with entertainment offerings, vintage drinks and lite bites inspired by an era of world-class performances and nautical novelty.” Hurly-Burly The theming is very much on par with Disney’s description, as you’re met with oceanic details, vintage-style seating, and lively and interactive entertainment. You’ll first be welcomed to the Hurly-Burly Theatre, which includes seaside details like seaweed, shells, and pearls. Welcome to the Hurly-Burly Theatre! And inside, you’ll find several decorations giving nods to the sea, including a large trident hanging on the wall, as well as different kinds of posters and vintage posters! Hurly-Burly Decor For seating, you’ll have a couple of options. You could be seated at a table with cushioned chairs… Hurly-Burly Tables … or at a booth completed with velvet backs. Either way, EXTREMELY comfortable! Hurly-Burly Booths In terms of entertainment, we first took part in trivia! It was hard enough that only FOUR groups got all 10 questions right, but the questions were still recognizable enough that kids and the whole family could still enjoy! We then played a quick game of higher or lower, and after that, we took part in some music trivia! And there was also some audience interaction where the host asked people where they’re from! And the prize? Bragging rights, of course! Disney’s Hurly-Burly Lounge will have lively activities in the afternoons, such as trivia and games for the whole family. Once 9 PM hits, it will be available for guests ages 21 and up. The entertainment will be on for 30 minutes and off for 30 minutes. One of the live acts at Hurly-Burly The new dining spot is also going to have a walk-up window for select beverages. So, if you’re going for a stroll down Disney’s BoardWalk, you can stop by Hurly-Burly’s window for a quick grab-and-go drink! The Hurly-Burly Walk-Up Window! The walk-up window opens at 11 AM and closes with the lounge at 1 AM. Here, you can find a litany of drinks, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options: Alcoholic Beverages: The Atlantic Review: Hangar One Mandarin Blossom Vodka, Cointreau Liqueur, Minute Maid Orange Juice, and Sprite Bubble Brava!: Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur, Italian Amaro, lemon juice, and Viarae Prosecco La Taquilla Picante: Ghost Blanco Tequila, lime juice, orgeat, rose water, and a spiced nutmeg rim Cherry-Vodka Limeade: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Amarena cherry, and cold-pressed lime juice Off-book Bramble: Fords Gin, Combier Crème de Mûre Liqueur, lemon juice, and blackberry Caramel Corn Old Fashioned: Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon, caramel corn, and The Bitter Truth Decanter Bitters Non-Alcoholic Specialty Beverages: Caramel Corn Cold Brew: Joffrey’s Cold Brew Coffee topped with caramel sweet cream and caramel popcorn Cherry Marquee: Minute Maid Premium Lemonade blended with Amarena cherries and garnished with a gourmet cherry Hurly-Burly Walk-Up Window Menu The walk-up window also offers a selection of beer and wine. For beer, guests have nine options to choose from, including four from the Atlantic Coast Favorite section and five from the Classic Selections section. For wine, there are several options of sparkling, whites, rosés, and reds to choose from. Hurly-Burly Walk-Up Window Menu Now, who is Hurly-Burly really FOR? Jellyrolls had a very specific crowd when it was open on the BoardWalk. Think businessmen wanting to wind down with a drink after a long day, Cast Members on their nights off, and just guests who want to escape the chaos that is the Disney World theme parks. But there is one problem: Parking. Hurly-Burly Hurly-Burly runs on a walk-up waitlist system, which means there are NO reservations. Typically, this means guests wouldn’t be able to park at the resort since they’re either not staying there or they don’t have a valid dining reservation. And since this spot is open so late, transportation to and from the parks will not be running at the time Hurly-Burly closes. We were able to park at the BoardWalk on opening day, which may show some leniency, so it’s possible that Disney will be more lax with people who want to visit this spot; however, that’s not a guarantee. Hurly-Burly Menu We’re so happy that Hurly-Burly is officially open! Make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss all the latest Disney news and updates. Hurly-Burly is located on Disney’s BoardWalk, where Jellyrolls used to be. This new spot officially opened October 1st, and here, Disney is inviting guests to “step inside this historic seaside theater, once the home of the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers.” In the story Disney has crafted, it’s opening its doors for the first time in about 100 years. Come with us to check out their walk-up window for the first time! The walk-up window at Hurly-Burly opens at 11 AM and is located on the left side of the Hurly-Burly entrance. 28. Okay, BoardWalk fans, we need to talk. After almost 30 years, the Jellyrolls piano bar closed in the spring of 2025, and ever since, the BoardWalk has had a Jellyrolls-shaped hole in its heart (and its nightlife). Well, that hole has finally been filled (sort of)! Hurly-Burly is officially open in the former Jellyrolls space, and while we’re thrilled, we have to say we’re a little confused. Hurly-Burly So what IS Hurly-Burly? Picture a historic seaside theater that was once home to the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers, complete with a glowing marquee and a teal exterior that’s impossible to miss on the promenade. But we just have one question for our buddy, CEO Josh D’Amaro: who is Hurly-Burly actually for?! So, here’s the thing. Jellyrolls had a very specific crowd when it was open on the BoardWalk. We’re talking dudes in suits who just wanted to unwind with a drink after being at a convention all day (disinterested, drunk, rich dudes), Cast Members on free Cast Member night (exhausted turkey leg salespeople), and weirdos like AJ who sat in the back trying to edit photos on their computers (okay, maybe she was literally the only one doing that, but the point still stands). Welcome to the Hurly-Burly Theatre And while we love a random, 1930s-inspired trivia den/21 and over cabaret, since Disney has become more and more strict about parking at the resorts without a reservation, and there are no reservations at Hurly-Burly, we’re wondering who is actually going to go there. Disney did just close Atlantic Dance Hall (RIP) to the public, so maybe the people who frequented that spot will migrate on over, and while those two guys are probably cool, it’s not like the Dance Hall had a line out the door every night. Or any night, for that matter. One of the live acts at Hurly-Burly Listen, we’re thrilled that the BoardWalk finally has more nightlife, and since Hurly-Burly will be open until 1 AM, it certainly qualifies; we’re just wondering who will actually show up to frequent this spot. Considering that Disney transportation only runs for an hour and a half after the parks close, it’s not like people will be able to leave their cars at the parks and hop on a bus after Hurly-Burly closes to head back to their cars. Overture in Orange Interestingly enough, we were able to park at the BoardWalk on Hurly-Burly’s opening day even though we didn’t have a hotel or dining reservation, so it’s possible that Disney will be more lax with people who want to visit this spot. That’s not a guarantee, though, so if you’re looking at visiting Hurly-Burly, your best bet is to use Disney transportation — as long as you plan to make it back to your car or hotel before the buses or Skyliner are done running for the night. Of course, Disney isn’t going to let you get stranded, and Cast Members will do everything in their power to make sure you get back “home” — or at least to your car.
