Disney4me Posted June 5, 2021 Report Share Posted June 5, 2021 Have you ever finished watching a Marvel movie and thought, “Hey, I want to meet Spider-Man!”? Well, now you can! Captain America Avengers Campus has officially opened to guests in Disney California Adventure and we’re spending our day taking in all that the new land has to offer. We’ve tried some of the new eats and drinks, explored the land, and now we have a peek at all the new superheroes you can meet IRL! We’re kicking things off as we catch Spider-Man swinging between the buildings throughout the day. And, no, that’s not a stunt person with a massive amount of endurance — it’s an animatronic! OKAY, Disney! Spider-Man You can also find Spidey on the ground after his aerial stunts and outside of WEB SLINGERS. Spider-Man There, he has time to chat with guests and snap pics too! Spider-Man is outside WEB SLINGERS! pic.twitter.com/LH3Qq52vya — AJ Wolfe (@DisneyFoodBlog) June 4, 2021 And, over at the Avengers building, you can watch Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Black Widow in action during a rooftop show! Stunt Show It was pretty intense watching Black Widow fight the Taskmaster! Stunt Show There were even a few special effects! Stunt Show And we even spotted Ant-Man! This place is crawling with characters. Ant-Man Oh, and you can’t forget about Tony Stark himself. Iron Man also made an appearance on the campus today. Iron Man We were pretty excited to find out that the NEW Captain America would be making an appearance, and we spotted Sam Wilson near the Quinjet today! Sam Wilson And nearby, Captain Marvel was keeping watch over Avengers Campus! Captain Marvel But don’t worry, the OG Captain America is hanging around as well. We spotted Cap chilling on the back of an Avengers vehicle. Captain America One of the more involved appearances is from the Dora Milaje of Wakanda. Black Panther If you’re more inclined to the morally ambiguous characters, you’ll probably be pretty excited to see Loki talking to guests! Loki During the Ancient Sanctum show, we were graced with the presence of both Loki and Thor. Thor and Loki Speaking of the Ancient Sanctum, here’s a look at Doctor Strange himself inside his show! Doctor Strange One superhero that was missing from the party today was Baby Groot, but we hope to see the little guy making his way around Avengers Campus soon! And, if you haven’t seen this walking, waving, and dancing animatronic that Disney has been working on…well, you NEED to! ©Walt Disney Imagineering R&D Inc. So, there are MANY more superheroes walking around Disneyland now! We will continue to update this post as we spot even more characters around the campus.
