Disney4me Posted January 29, 2021 Report Share Posted January 29, 2021 We’re almost a year out from when Disney first closed the theme parks in March of 2020, and there are still a lot of health measures in place. Cinderella Castle During your Disney day, you’ll see mask mandates, temperature checks, and social distancing. Now, Disney has added a new update to their existing social distancing policy that specifically speaks to larger groups. With an update to the Disney World website today, the Physical Distancing policy now states a clarification when it comes to party size. The statement says, “Guests traveling in parties of more than 10 are asked to split into smaller groups in queues, dining locations, and other areas around our parks and resorts to allow for physical distancing.” Disney Website Screenshot We’ve certainly noticed that one “Please Stand Here” marker isn’t quite enough for a large group when standing in queues and it makes sense that limited dining room arrangements wouldn’t leave room for larger parties.
