Moana Balloon We just visited Magic Kingdom and wanted to share some updates with you, so here we are with all the latest news in construction and merchandise from the Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom Construction Update Fantasyland In Fantasyland, the scrim surrounding Peter Pan’s Flight was removed, though the temporary sign is still there. Peter Pan’s Flight The colors look so bright and vibrant and really liven up Fantasyland! Look at those colors! We’re are not disappointed to finally bid farewell to the brown scrim. No more brown scrim! We spotted something a little off on Cinderella Castle. Can you see it? A blue piece of the 50th anniversary decoration fell off. Oops. A 50th anniversary decoration fell off! Frontierland Over at Splash Mountain, the Laughing Place Play Area has reopened! The Laughing Place And speaking of Splash Mountain, every row is now being filled. They are now filling every row! They are also back to filling up the raft to Tom Sawyer Island. Tom Sawyer Raft Adventureland Near the Jungle Cruise, ropes have been removed from the stairs. The ropes are gone! The area is no longer being used for stroller parking and it feels so much more open! So much more space! Over by Pirates of the Caribbean, we spotted the gate open between Pirates League and Pirates Bazaar for the first time since Disney World reopened in July 2020. The gate is open! And at the Tiki Room, Cast Members let us know that you can eat inside the theater again, including Dole Whip or, better yet, Kakamora! Tiki Room Main Street, U.S.A. At Curtain Call Collectibles, there’s a new sign advertising prices and services. Here’s a closer look! Various Locations Throughout Magic Kingdom, we noticed that the some of the social distancing signs that have been on trash cans have been removed, though not from all the trash cans. No social distancing sign Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates Emporium The Emporium had new belts with Disney-themed belt buckles. New belts at Emporium This belt buckle features the Walt Disney World logo… Mickey on a belt! …and this belt buckle is a gold castle! Both belts are $29.99. Castle belt buckle We found a new blue Walt Disney World t-shirt for $24.99. New Walt Disney World t-shirt There was lots of new Luca merch to celebrate the release of the new Pixar film. New Luca merch We saw several plushes based on characters in Luca and apparel! Click here to check out all the new Luca merchandise! And we noticed the price of nuiMOs went up to $19.99 each. nuiMOs are so cute nuiMOs were originally $17.99 when they first came out in early 2021. Click here to read more about the nuiMO price increase! Uptown Jewelers We saw new petticoats at Uptown Jewelers, including a white one… White petticoat at Uptown Jewelers …and a black one! Perfect to go under your favorite Disney dress. Both are $48. Black petticoat at Uptown Jewelers Tomorrowland Light & Power At Tomorrowland Light & Power we found the new Luca MagicBand for $29.99. Luca Magic Band One side of the MagicBand is Luca and his friends… Luca and his besties …while the other side features the setting of the movie, the Italian Riviera. Italian Riviera We also noticed something new and exciting! Apple Watch bands are coming! Coming soon! We could not see or purchase them yet but they will be priced at $39.99. As soon as we know more we will let you know! Main Street, U.S.A. And over on Main Street we found a new souvenir — Moana balloons! Moana Balloon You can grab a Moana balloon on Main Street for $14.
