Disney4me
Disney World seems to be experiencing a strange food trend this week… Epcot’s China Pavilion First we saw the Santa hat-toting Cranberry Mickey Brownie followed swiftly by the Mickey’s Santa Cupcake — also suspiciously wearing, you guessed it — a Santa hat! Now this new holiday snack (which we spotted in Epcot’s China Pavilion of all places!) has us pretty much certain there’s a delicious Christmas treat conspiracy happening right now in Disney World — and trust us, you gotta see what it is! As we made our way through the World Showcase today, our eyes were STRUCK by this sign in the China pavilion’s House of Good Fortune… . Cotton Candy Santa Hat Cotton Candy SANTA HAT? Consider us WILDLY intrigued! We had to circle back for this delicious-looking confection as Wenbo Zhang, the Cotton Candy Artist, wasn’t creating at the moment. And when we returned, there was quite the line! It looks like the word has started to spread around the World Showcase about his sugar mastery! China Pavilion The line moved quickly and before we knew it, we were face to face with the man himself, Wenbo Zhang! He quickly whipped us up a Cotton Candy Santa Hat to call our own, and we walked away with the happiest-looking Santa hat snack we’ve seen thus-far! Cotton Candy Santa Hat Forget those cotton candy flowers they’ve had since Flower and Garden, we’re TOTALLY obsessed with the Cotton Candy Santa Hat from now on! It’s undeniably adorable! Just try not to smile when you see this thing in person — we DARE YOU! Cotton Candy Santa Hat But sadly, Cotton Candy Santa Hat was not long for this world. He began to melt just like Frosty the Snowman. It wasn’t the heat that did him in but the light drizzle. Beware that much like a mogwai (gremlins for you 80s kids), you can’t get Cotton Candy Santa Hat wet! Cotton Candy Santa Hat That said, we still highly recommend picking up a Cotton Candy Santa Hat from the China pavilion on your next trip to Epcot this holiday season! The flavor is still just regular, delicious cotton candy sugar flavor, and it costs $15. The Cotton Candy Artist is in every day EXCEPT Wednesday and only makes the Cotton Candy Santa Hats at certain times of the day. Here’s the schedule reported in this week’s Times Guide: 11:30AM – 2:15PM 3:30PM – 6:15PM 7:30PM – 8:45PM Enjoy!
